They changed my drop off location for some reason to 250km away from where I had wanted to drop it off when I set my reservation. So I don't know what happened there but it definitely made my drop off a headache.

Side window on driver side was broken when I picked up. This was not caught when inspection done on return of vehicle before me. Great gas mileage on Van.

The experience with the pick-up location was terrific. The owners did not charge us extra for being a few minutes passed the due time as we were having issues finding a parking spot for the u-haul. The u-haul truck itself was a bit dirty on the inside (coffee/cream stains in the cupholders, and cups/plastic bottles in the truck bed from the previous renter. But this did not affect the driving experience. The truck was very fuel efficient for the 60+ kms that we driven, and the gage barely moved.

Excellent service and staff. Please reserve spots for parking to facilitate returning vehicles in the shared parking lot. This isnˋt always easy to do but is definitely worth aiminng for.

Not the fault of the pick up location, but UHaul had made an error with our order and moved the location and time of our pick-up. We were literally standing at the pick-up counter and the counter person couldn't find our reservation. After a lengthy call to UHaul, they were able to transfer our reservation back to Habesha Market, as they happened to have an extra truck available. This meant that we didn't get any of our moving equipment though (dolly, furniture pads etc). While I'd recommend Habesha African Market as a pick up location (the staff was very helpful), I'd be concerned with renting from UHaul again.

For this truck, the engine light is on. Hence, the truck is extremely gas-consuming. The staff told me that the fuel tank is empty, thus I will not be charged if I return the truck as empty. However, they fined me $42 for the fuel at last.

It was EXTREMELY frustrating to have to go through the entire check-in process at time of pick up when I had already entered all that information online. According to the people at the site, none of that info that is entered online goes to them, so why is U-Haul collecting it online? We originally requested a different location for pick up, but that was changed without notice or options. The people on site were very nice. The truck was fine. Your online systems need work.

Equipment was clean, however actually acquiring the truck was hell as they tried to make me pay twice, and didn't believe I had already been charged (despite showing them my live TD bank account) finally after a long time of me refusing to pay again, they somehow 'verified' the payment. Seemed almost like a scam.

One of the biggest challenges we encountered with the Uhaul experience is that the furniture blankets ordered (12) were not available at pick up. This put our move behind by two hours as I had to drive across the city to pick them up. We had hired movers, so it was not ideal. Also, the vehicle was very low on fuel when I pickup up. Much less then the contract stated. I was took pictures and had to show them to avoid any fuel surcharges.

There was no clear directions inside the store for uhaul. I had to wait in line with people buying groceries. The poor girl helping me had to try and figure out my issues as well as help customers as multiple other staff milled about. She did the best she could. The vehicle I requested was not there at the time of pickup so they offered me a bigger truck for the same price. Drop off was much easier, but the parking lot was full, trying to park a 14' truck in a grocery store parking lot next to an apartment building was a nightmare.

Truck had no washer fluid found out in the middle of the mountains, tires are junk 0 grip on anything other than pavement I had to go buy bagged sand just because there was some snow on the ground. There was what appeared to be vomit in the center console and the truck had just under a quarter tank of gas, I don't expect to have to immediately fill a truck upon picking it up time out of my day to do so especially when rushed and

There wasn't mentioned anywhere that we should refill the gas. I thought that 0.79$ per mile would cover that. After returning the vehicle, they automatically charged me for 65$ for gas, while I only used about 25$. That is not cool at all

Do not use the U-haul app (andriod) for check-in or check-out. It would not upload photos, so I had to check-in with the staff at the location. They were very helpful. Afterwards a friend said the same thing happened to him. The solution to this problem is to use a browser instead of the app. I used Chrome for check-out and the photos uploaded.
