I set up a rental from a more convenient location and was told after a 40 min wait on pick up day that the truck was not there and I would have to go there to pick it up Then I was charged for the full three days rental , even thought it was returned the next day plus 3 hours

Do NOT go to this location. Truck had garbage in it, lady at counter had no clue how to work the software, and we were charged for 3 days on a 1.5 day rental. FRAUDULENT LOCATION - Avoid at all costs.

The location was fine, the truck was dirty in that the windshield was full of bugs and steering wheel was sticky. Personnel were helpful and friendly. NOTE: The pick location I was given on my confirmation E-mail did not have my truck and advised it would not be in until 2:30 (Ihad a 12:30 reservation. I had to call. U-haul myself to find a truck. I was on line waiting for a service rep for over 35 minutes. Once I reached a rep he was very helpful. I understand that you provide a guarantee that the truck wil be ready when booking online. This was not the case and I had to attend two locations and almost missed the elevator lock down time at the building I was moving out of. I would like the $50.00 credit to my visa for your failure to have the truck ready as per you policy.) I look forward to response. Bob

No good welcome gesture to customers. Place is hard to find and god knows its inside a grocery store. Attendent does not know about any prices for equipments. Truck was given with personally checking the gas bar needle and kms...(usually it is done on other locations) There was no dolly and furniture rugs that i ordered, i cam back from half way realizing and checking it in the back and there was none, so i had to return to get it as i already booked and paid for it. Rugs were very dirty, truck was filthy inside. Attendent was more worried about her grocery store then u-haul service. She did know about the per km/mikes prices upon asking. When i asked about a email copy of my final payment upon returning the vehicle she clearly said “ i dont have tome for it” and then she printed me a hard copy with a arrogant expression on her face.

The depot staff were as helpful as they could be, but the reservation was very badly handled by U-Haul. The pickup location and time were both changed, but the truck was not on site, nor did the staff know about it. The 800 number was effectively ignored. Very disappointed in U-Haul, and I'll hesitate about renting from them in future.

Horrible experience at this location. Called at 5 pm the day of the rental to make a reservation for a 15' truck and a dolley. Upon arrival, there are no signs telling you where the entrance to the Uhaul is. Turns out it is inside the food market. I gave the lady my name and she had no idea that I had a reservation. Asked if she had a 15' truck available and she said that sometimes people don't return it on time. So no big deal, I most importantly needed a ramp, more than the size of the truck. Problem was, she didn't know what a ramp was. End up getting a truck after waiting for her to figure out what she has available. Doesn't go over the contract with me and since I'm in a rush I end up taking the truck she offered me. Turns out it has a ramp, and I ended up struggling way more than I needed to, to accomplish this job. I'm sorry, but in order to run a business, YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR BUSINESS. Uhaul, this is a horrible way to expand your business. Train your retailers so they know what they're doing.

Make pick up a little quicker. The pads and the dolly could have been ready for pick up. Also, maybe have spaces, even 15 minutes in between reservations. I wasn’t aware until I picked it up that I would have to replace the gas and I did not have time to go to a gas station. Had I known I would have reserved the truck for longer. I would use a again, thank you.

The location was difficult to find but once we did the process was quick and easy. Unfortunately the major issue we had was that our booking was changed by uhaul without confirmation. We got to the new pickup location and were told that we no longer had a truck reservation but that all that was available was a van. When I called uhaul they were not very helpful and as it was a busy weekend they were unable to find me another vehicle that would be adequately sized for our moving needs. I put in a request for a review of the confirmation call and have yet to hear back. I did receive a confirmation call that notified me of the location change however there was never any mention of a vehicle change. Thankfully we were able to get everything moved but it took longer and more trips were needed resulting in a higher mileage amount and more fuel overall causing the cost to be double what it should have been. I am not pleased with this experience with the company.

U hauls new rental rules with a time limit on certian trucks is set to rip the costumer off. When j rent a truck for a day should be a day not 4 to 10 hours. Crooks.

There was no indication that I would be unable to rent a 9' van on a debit card; I was told that was not possible, but regardless I was able to reserve it with a debit card. What this means is that I had a hold for the estimate placed on two different cards, and the hold actually hasn't been removed on the debit card yet. All in all, a weird and unnecessary inconvenience. The service at the location was great, but I'm frustrated with the booking process and U-Haul as a company.

The vendor did not conduct an inspection with me before giving me the keys, the cab was full of organic food waste and fried chicken bones and almost completely empty, no fuel. I had to clean the truck before returning it, it was disgusting. I would never recommend renting from this location.

Hire people that understand what is being said to them. Hire people that dont like to you and try to over charge you. Hire people that are not completely useless.

Very hard to find and was 2 and half hours late because the place is tucked in behind apartment buildings very hard place to find when you just moved to Edmonton 4 days ago. Nice service and understanding people who are very busy and do customer service very well thank you.

Make sure equipments lights are all working before renting them out. One headlight wasn't working so it made using the truck at night very nerve wracking

U-Haul people and website tells me lies because I rented a 26’ truck. The web and the U-Haul people told me the rent is $39 and they charge $0,69 KM, that’s it. When I picked up the truck the were asking me how many KM you’ll think you’ll drive and I said probably 30 or 40 KM, I don’t know. They said it’s ok it’s just to give you an estimate. So, no problem until there. When I returned the truck I was driving 29 km and they charge me per mile $1,11 plus $15 for a coverage. Nobody told me nothing about it when I rented it, no one was talking about Miles, every one talks about KM, but really they charge me miles more expensive and $15 coverage. I didn’t know nothing about it. So, You says lies when and you omit information when you want clients take a rent, after that. You charge a different amount and another hidden fees. It’s not fear.

Unknown to me, I got charged for insurance when I returned the vehicle and was paying. They said it was because I did the online booking. I did not. I called in to get a price quote and then decided to book it afterall during the call. The lady on the phone NEVER said anything about insurance. She gave me my confirmation number and said I would also get an email. When we went to get the market, the place is not set up very well when there is a line up. It was crowded. Apparently lots of people were booked for 10. We were booked for 11 but I knew there would be paperwork so we arrived early. A lady in line said we could speed things up if we did the confirmation online. We started doing it and a technical glitch something stopped it from completion so the guy said he could do it. He saw some of what we had started. AGAIN, HE NEVER asked or mentioned the INSURANCE. Both myself and the driver are insured so had we been asked or it been mentioned we would have said it is not needed. Because it was so busy and rushed with the other people perhaps he forgot but that's not my fault. nothing I read stated I was going to be charged for insurance and it should have been asked when he was going through getting the paperwork. Then instead of them taking it off from the bill they blame the PROCESS and say we need to call Uhaul!

Hard to find location. No signs in the back where the uhauls are parked indacating where the office is. Building was crowded and messy. Staff was really nice and easy to deal with though.

Truck had no gas, wasn’t cleaned, there was dog hair all over the cab and the employee asked my boyfriend to do all the lifting including the dolly and opening the door for her because “he was the man” even though it was her job.

Attendant was on the phone the entire time. Did not check the van for any type of damage with me. The millage on the contract was incorrect. Indicated NO coverage at on-line registration but was billed $15.00 Was very dirty and wet on the roads today and guess what....no windshield washer fluid ! Thats safe ... This is how you run your business ? Never again

I had reserved 6 moving blankets. Paid for them, forgot to check for them. When I got to the moving location realized there were no blankets provided. Was told I would have to go back to the loc'n (Pain in the butt) to have it fixed. Got there and the lady I dealt with put a note on the contract to indicate I wasn't to be charged for the "missing" blankets. Didn't get my $5 back...

More trained staff couldn't get to pick up the van. The one person that knows the system was out. Pick up at 6:45 ended up picking it 24 hours later. Set me back a whole day
