This location is terrible. It is a gas station/repair shop right on RT202. No signs indicating it is a uhaul location. When I arrived there was not a single other piece of uhaul equipment there. I had to wait for them to move cars around their cramped parking lot to make a spot for my trailer to go in. Then it took them two day to check in my trailer return. This is the worst uhaul location I have been to.JOHN R.
Left taillight was out. Right rear red marker light was out. Tires had 25 and 30 psi in them. Good thing I checked all pressures before leaving. Lights i had some concern over because I was driving through the night. Fortunately I made it with no issues.BRIAN M.

It was great but did not have things needed for packing like boxes, tape, etc. Note: this was not the location where we made our reservation. U-haul may change your pickup location to a different one in the same area so carefully read all emails from U-haul.Gardner P.

Pick up was done on a Saturday at noon. No one in the facility was aware of my order, nor the proper U-Haul procedures. Rep did not do a damage inspection with me (passenger side mirror was completely smashed), nor confirm mileage or fuel level. The vehicle itself (with the exception of the broken side mirror) was in excellent condition and was exactly what I was looking for. I will certainly rent from U-Haul again, but not from this location.Robert G.

I was over charged , when I returned the truck to the jersey city location, the guy was to busy to check the truck while I was there , my receipt says I drove the truck over 140 miles , it's only 45 miles from hillsborough NJ to Bayonne NJ, how do I get a refund of the over chargemichael A.

I was over charged when I reserved my truck I picked one place. Was informed they did not.have and I was to go to a different. Location. Not a problem. Got there at our rental appt time. Only to find out they had closed an hour prior to our pick up time. Call u haul they found us another one. 7 miles further away . My understanding that my total would be. Roughly 95.00 +any extra miles. That we didn't foresee being out on it . We got the truck from other place we lost. 3 hours of moving time. And 3. Helpers due to they couldn't wait any longer . So with that being said we were left. With 2 people. Myself. And my wife whom just had surgery on her neck and. Moving things wasn't. The best choice but. It was only the 2 of us . We were never going to finish. With everything that had happen so my wife called and asked if could keep the truck longer due too all the setbacks and was told yes and that it would be an additional. 29.95. Which was fine . So my thought was that my bill should. Be. Roughly 140.00 then 50 off that for the guarantee for the truck being at the site so that would bring it to 90 for the whole rental To my surprise and my wife freaking out. They billed me $230.87 so please someone explain why I was so over charged and soon because my wife is not happy over this. Thank you dave k and my insurance I took was 14 a day and the charged me $42 the Math is not adding upDavid K.

The paperwork got messed up because I was doing a two-way rental (picking up and returning to Haggan) over just a 48 hour period, but with high mileage as I was taking the truck to Manhattan first and then to Virginia and back to NJ. It was difficult to process an "in town" rental with that many miles on it and no one at U-Haul Central or here really knew how to cope with that. It is a web site issue for U-Haul that needs to be resolved!Elizabeth M.
