The pickup location was closed when we scheduled our pickup time, so if you pickup from a person at this, I imagine the experience is great. I do not want to bash that actual pickup place. But we opted to pick up on a Saturday morning when the business was closed and had to check in and do EVERYTHING online, without clear instructions emailed before we arrived at the location. It did not mention anywhere in my 3 confirmation emails/calls/texts that I would a whole separate person to verify anything or provide a passport?! What was the point in reserving online if I had to be verified at check-in too?! Because of this we almost had to forgo it altogether due to not having any of the requested documents or know anyone who could verify our pickup times by phone. FINALLY, when managed to get through the awful online check-in process and went to return it, my husband who was the driver, dropped me back at my car and was waiting for me to pick him up, so he went ahead and dropped the keys in the box. Well the checkout process is set up where you need the vehicle to be on when you check out, so we had to upload a picture of it looking like it didn't have any gas in it. All of these issues could have been solved with a simple email with instructions. It was the worst rental experience I've ever had. Like I said before, if we had been able to check in with a person, it probably would have been fine. Uhaul needs to change how they do their email confirmation to include the ridiculous confirmation and return instructions so that you can be prepared when you arrive at the pickup/drop-off location.Jameson T.

I made two prior reservations at two other locations within a month. The day of pick up for the first two reservations the trucks were not available.....very inconvenient and i could not move, nor was I notified. This location was able to accommodate me so I could get moved. The online check in did not work on my phone...had to call customer service for assistance. Finally got the keys. This location was convenient but Uhaul has not made my move convenient at all. Very unlike Uhaul. I've had better experience beforeDeborah B.

The first rep I delt with was kind and nice. When I brought it back the lady had left. This is a macanic shop so I assumed I would deal with the same person. The lady that was there had an attitude. The lady had blonde hair. The lady was so rude from the moment I walked in. I asked to speak to the lady I spoke to before because she gave me 30 miles because I did not know how many miles it was to the city I needed to get to. The blonde person with long hair acted like she did not know anything and was trying to force someone else's Uhaul order on me. The lady told me that I upset her and that she did not want me to come back. The lady argued with every word I said. She was so rude and does nor need to be dealing with the public. I will not ever go back there until she is no longer working there.rebecca A.

I have to be honest, in the past month in a half I've rented 3 uhaul including this one.. Every time I call 800 uhaul & make reservations & get my quotes, at the time of pick up, I've had issues with the quote being more than what I'm told, or the cust serv for uhaul puts information inadequate, or they don't have equipments in same location and/or like my experience this time around that I was given wrong quote, had the agent at the location for pick up call uhaul to make correction and rectified their incompetence of the issue at hand, in which customers rep would not give me a supervisor or manager to speak to so, I could get my issue solved in a timely manner. . I have rented from uhaul for over 25 years & always recommended you to friends & family throughout those years..But I am disgusted with the way Uhaul customer service handled my issue, when it was their fault for what took place w my reservation.. This issue caused me hours of delay for my trip as well as interfering w my job...This was why reservations were made in advanced w time for pick up, so, I wouldn't have to miss work... I will like to add, that for future, I will recommend for anyone to go through a local store that has uhauls or equipment for rent, rather than go directly w Uhaul 800 #.. I want to thank Hahira Automotive Service ( especially Allie and owner Kay) for helping me and getting my reservation corrected and done as quickly and efficient as they were able to! Uhaul should be extremely grateful to these 2 agents, that kept working as hard as they did to keep my business, and make my trip possible per scheduled... Noone should go through what I went through! Customer Service is the companies first contact to the people..They represent YOU...First impression is what will make you or break you! I still need to rent one more time before my final move, but I yet, have no idea if Uhaul will be my means to start a new life to my new destination! The lady who helped us at Hahira Automotive was excellent!! The only problem I had was on the return using the website. It did not work correctly & took about 20 minutes & a phone call to uhaul to be able to return the vehicle properly. Otherwise, uhaul has a very good service!!Tonda D.
