I arranged on the website to pick up at this location and drop off somewhere else. When I picked up, he informed me that I had to return to same location. I told him that I set it up on the website to drop off at another Uhaul site, but he said "that is Uhaul's website. This is my truck. You return it here." This was very disappointing and very inconvenient. The tire maintenance light was blinking from the time I picked it up. When I clicked the link to notify UHaul, the link had expired. I was not notified of the updated charge to my credit card after the change in destination, and I hope I do not have any more problems when I do receive my credit card bill.Mariellen F.

When dropping off, the receptionist first said "Okay! it's done" and "no confirmation receipt" when asked. He also return our u-haul contract papers back, when asked, that we had gotten when picking up the truck. I called u-haul company to confirm and was told record doesn't show that I had dropped off. So, I asked the receptionist again and then he said he couldn't fill out the drop off form without contract papers (even though he had returned them). So not sure what he was doing. I easily registered and paid for the truck rental on U-Haul website. U-Haul customer service representative was professional . The truck was like new, clean and comfortable. So, I did not have any problems with the truck and easily got to my direction.Dilya T.
This was one of the worst rental experience in my life, 24/7 thing does not work at all, I came to pick up my truck around 9:20AM and app was telling me that I can't pick up truck until 9:00AM, I called support center and I waited 45 minutes till assistance picked up the phone, I explained situation and he told me that I can't pick up truck with 24/7 app in this current location and I have to go to another location to get the truck. I can't understand why uhaul didn't tell me this before I make reservation,on a website it everything was looking fine. Then I went to another location where the customer service was nice but they didn't have dolly which I ordered,but I got the bill which included dolly charge,so what I got? One hour waiting on a street to be told that first pickup was impossible, spending another 25 minutes to get to a new location and not even getting what I reserved on website....Beburi A.

I made an appointment via the u-haul website. I picked 10:30pm from the available pickup times. I was there at 10:00pm and when I wanted to pick up my vehicle I was asked to create a U-Haul account. When I did that, I was told they would open at 7am. I went inside the gas station and they told me the u-haul was closed until morning. I called in the morning and they told me they had no vehicles. I called u-haul and u-haul told me they did. Its' a mess and it wasted a lot of my time. I would not recommend this to anyone unless they like to be tortured.RUBEN M.

I've used this service multiple times all the trucks I've had smell badly, and I noticed that this is a permanent issue because I've seen many air refreshers in the trucks to cover up the bad smell.Mohammed A.
The cargo van had a bad smell inside when it was picked up. I reported it to the location and they said the van was cleaned inside three times and the smell remained. Also a tire sensor was illuminated restricting a view of the odometer. I reported that to an agent over the phone. Those 2 issues should be fixed before that van is rented again.Guy D.

We were charged for and paid for a dolly that the location did not have. The truck was not well maintained. It smelled of smoke, was dirty, and the mirrors were very dirty. The owner at the location took down information for multiple credit cars, for which there are now multiple pending charges that we are trying to work out. The van was dirty with someone's old mask on the gate behind our seats and empty bottles and food containers behind our seats. Upon return we tried to park it exactly where we picked it up from and he made us go find parking on the street, within parameters he set (.5 block radius). Luckily we found a spot. No inspection before or after vehicle drop off either.argero T.
The service at the rental station was okay, just need to make sure they provide you a final contract and invoice before you leave. Otherwise they usually put in charge that you didn't use. The vehicle haven't be clean and wipe, full on grease. Due to COVID-19 issue I spend half an hour to wipe down entire driver side and provide free cleaning for U-haul which I think they dont really care people can get infection or not and wouldn't take any steps to do any pre-cautionCHIWAI S.
Seat belt was not operational. Truck had used mask and other dirt from the previous rental. Upon notifying the rental location of a safety concern for the mover not having ability to use seat belt the rental simply without apology told me to return the car and never issued a refundPAVEL I.
i ordered blankets and upon arrival i was informed by the attendant that they do not have blankets. How am i supposed to move my expensive furniture without blankets? Should i just let float around and get scuffed up during the drive? blankets are a necessity not an luxury for moving.RUSLAN N.

I would recommend with a caution to review each phase of billing. First, when you pick up to make sure they don't add a $5.00 charge for blankets they claim they don't even have but will remove the charge when you return the vehicle. Make them remove any incorrect charges before you leave with the vehicle. Second, when you return. Do not leave until you receive your final invoice and review all charges. If the changes are incorrect make them revise it on the spot. The incorrect charges will not be corrected once you leave. They know that very few people will return to argue a $5 or $10 dollar charge. God bless America.David H.

Before I took the van I told them it had a flate he put air and the light still was on .. however he told me to drive and the light will go off . I get to my Dissipation and the air came out . I was in the city of NewYork looking for a gas station.. I'm so upset.. so it put more miles on the van for looking to put air in a tire when I told the sale person .. I'm very upsetChristine C.
When they take card payment they must take all 16 numbers, front card info, and security code. They have an Apple Pay machine that is fake. Uhaul was so dirty, stunk terribly, engine light was on, uhaul shakes very bad when pressed on brakes. The back of it was had old pieces of pallets and dirty. Will never come back. Only rented due to emergency to help a lady. Never againEnid R.
That van was nasty and dirty.they didn't even wipe it down or even wash it off I had to clean the inside of the van and put a plastic bag on the seat to sit down,it was disgusting and when I spoke to the sales person at the location he didn't even care and charged me extra for gas when he should not have,that's find because I would never rent from UHAUL again not will my family friends or colleagues. 1. Reserved at 800 tel #10' truck for p u @2427 Knapp. Arrived no truck. Agent reserved in park slope, miles away! 2) took van. Filthy! Check engine sign. Could see mileage .Drove 1 BLOCK. Turned around. 3)insisted different van and NOT ONE MILE or gas. 4) van better. Cab decent. Back souled but better than 1st., 5) told 7:30 put 7pm, returned bought gas 2.5 gallon(more than used)6) young man checked and claimed cargo area charge (same condition as when obtained). All done prior to 7pm. Abdul refused to give return form. Said all ok. Received email about 9:30 stating return as 9:25!!!location convenient. Will use again. Tip: A) insist on clean vehicle B)take pics of mileageand gas out and back take pics inside cab and back, all around vehicle. BE POLITE BUT FIRM. PROTECT SELF AGAINST â€œMISTAKESâ€. So the bad experience started when I first walked in , they were rude and disrespectful they send me to find the car by myself didn't even bother to come out of the store , the van was full of trash !!! , they've charged me initially 43$ then after I made 7 miles and returned the van on time in 1,5 h witch was the exact time I had on the contract they didn't even bother to come with me and check the car and the mileage !!! Then A WEEK LATER My card was charged again for 4.5 G of gas ( $20) when the gas needle didn't even move with less than 10 miles done !!! And when I get there to ask why and complained they had no idea of why or what happened!!! Never again I will use this Uhall location again !!! The worse of the worse !!! They should rename themselves A-holes not U-hallsTudor B.
This location was terrible. The vehicle that I requested/reserved was not on site and I was forced to use a smaller vehicle. The truck smelled awful. Additionally, when returning the vehicle I was given inaccurate directions of where to park the vehicle and was repeatedly yelled at and had to move the vehicle not once, not twice, but three times. The staff could have just taken the keys and put the truck where they wanted it. SUPER RUDE! And let me not forget, I was charged $25 for not folding used smelly furniture mats. Finding the representative was a bit tricky but the office is in the gas station. We had an issue with the truck and unfortunately it needed to be returned. The rep didn't give us any trouble. I ended up renting a larger truck from another location the following day.Denis O.

I reserved the truck in the evening. In the morning I waited an hour and a half for a guy to come who would give me the keys. I lost an hour and a half and the money that I paid to the workers during this time. I do not recommend dealing with this station.
