This was a good experience. I think people should be told an estimate at time of rental. A bit of a sticker shock when I got the bill. Although nothing is "hidden" the fees add up quick.

DAVID LThey do not explain the additional charges for over millage driven, just charge what their system shows. The truck has 2 alerts on the dash panel: the check engine light and the fuel cap. Not driving comfortable safe.

SYDNEY SThe truck was filthy, inside and out. The cab was sticky with spilled drinks. And this rental location is a car wash!! Happy Car Wash on Bradley Ave in Santee. It also had less than a 1/4 tank of gas in it. I had to add gas before loading it, delaying the work, keeping a crew waiting. Would not recommend, in fact I should have rented from Ryder.

Jason PPlease make sure the windshield wipers are in good working condition. My drive was extremely dangerous when I hit bad weather and couldn’t see because the wipers didn’t work properly.
Elahann JAs a non-profit organization with a large storage area in Santee, Happy Car Wash is a very convenient location for our rental needs and we have used it numerous times. Each time, our rental truck or van was ready and waiting as reserved. Always clean, and with any previous dings correctly noted on our rental agreement. The employees at Happy Car Wash have always been courteous and efficient - somehthing we really appreciate. We have no suggestions for improvement at this time.

Mark WTrailer dirty. Attendant did not properly hook up the chains. When asked about them stated it was done right even though they were dragging on the ground. Informed at drop off location it had been done incorrectly and we could have gotten a ticket.

GEORGE CI rented a dolly and the strap kept coming loose and the the dolly was dented and in poor shape. It was the only car dolly available. Just horrible service, I’d never recommend U-Haul
Melissa MBUT. I had reserved the trailer to be picked up at Ramona Chevron… it wasn’t there. The guy there had no idea and no appear at way or concern to help me. That really sucked. I lost 4 hours getting juggled to the Bradley location. Got stuck in horrible traffic in LA and paid 4x the cost to rent that I paid on my way down to Ramona from Oregon. I expect SOME correlation to rental costs from place to place. I expect uhaul to Biuy or allocate their equipment to service their busiess model. $420 to rent for three days vs. $140 to rent the same trip the other direction for M3 days. That’s too much. I wasn’t very pleased with this overall rental experience.

Doug WThey call you the day before your scheduled service and tell you "There is no vehicle at the selected location" (it looks like some pickup locations are fake and not working at all - please inspect location 2840 Fletcher Pkwy, El Cajon, CA 92020), when you pick up your truck at the new location you will get a new contract with a different drop-off location that you chose previously online in the 1st contract. You will suffer, no one will help, and the final price will surprise you.
Oleksandr SEmployees and the manager (Mitch), went out of their way to assist me with the car trailer rental that my truck wouldn't fit onto (too wide). Adjustments to rental were made. I'm an old customer of theirs and will continue to return for my rental needs.
