It was an awful experience. We had to wait over an hour and we checked in online. They gave us the wrong truck at first and then the truck they gave us they told us they did not sanitize even though there was Covid warnings all over our county. It had no gas in it And we couldn't even find the gas cap. It was a ridiculous experience and we would never ever ever rent a U-Haul from that location again. I think they have too many businesses going on at once over there that they cannot handle.Shirlie C.

The business opens at 8:00 am and the employee walked in at 8 to open the location. I rented a van for 24 hrs. returning it a little after 5:00pm. The location closes at 5 pm and the same clerk who served me in the morning was closing the register. He told me to drop the keys into the after hours box. They processed the return at 9:00 am the next morning, charging me a full second day rental.John M.

This uhual place was wonderful. The check in mid check out process was wonderful. The actual uhual seemed to struggle a little to drive but that was probably because it was heavy and loaded to the brim. Overall all of the guys we interacted with were wonderful.MARISELA I.

There was damage to the fender which could have caused a problem on the road but the pick up location was eager to correct it issue. I definable recommend both the pick up and drop off locations.Michael M.
Offer unlimited miles I didn't know any better and didn't get unlimited miles and I used the 19.95 truck for less than 3 hours and I got charged 119 dollars for 52 miles driven and less than 5 gallons of gas I feel like I was taking advantage ofmarcus S.

First i had my rsvp at 830am for a R/T at midway drive in san diego. They called me up the last minute that there have no r/t and sent me to broadway st in chula vista. Got there 9am and I was told there that the r/t trailer was not returned on time so have to wait. Finally r/t came at 945am and did the paperwork and finally hooked up. Then manager came out saying r/t is reported broken and cannot use. Took another 30 mins to find avbl trailer. They sent me to the bradley location and got a 6x12 close trlr which is way too big for what i need. BUt i had no choice and just bite the bullet. Finally left uhaul at around 1130am. I mean isnt this a very annoying, maddening and just plain inconvenience? Nobody at uhaul even said sorry for what happened. Its like just another normal day at work. I dont even expect anymore who would read this (or even bother to read this) to reach out and apologize. Uhaul at western av in LA said they will email my receipt and I received nothing.Paul B.

The location is a car wash. The focus is primarily on the car wash. You have ot walk 150 yards back and forth to the rental area. Not interested in using them again.Robert M.

While Happy Car Wash provided excellent service I was NOT happy with the online service to return the truck. I followed the directions but every time I tried to finish I kept getting a message saying it didn't recognize the location and then would error. I went through this twice before finally calling Uhaul customer service. I dropped the truck off at Happy Car Wash at about 4:45pm. I also dropped the keys in the box provided after I called customer service. The box indicated that I need to drop a copy of the contract in the box. I din't have a â€œcopyâ€ with me only my copy so I went home then came back with a copy to drop in the box. The person at Happy Car Wash at the time of pick up said if they were closed when I got back to just drop the key in the box. I didn't know I needed to also drop a copy of the contract in the slot. Ugh! Better communication on that and the fact the website didn't work would help immensely. Thank youWilliam J.

This trailer was reserved for two full days. When I first picked up the trailer, I was told that I could add additional days of use as needed. It was just into it's second day of use when I got annoying call from the renter claiming that they had over-scheduled the thing, and asked be to bring it back one hour before my two days were up. The truck was unsanitary. It was definitely not co-vid safe. Had to wipe down ourselves. Unfortunately it was the only truck available and I didn't have a choice but to just take it. I don't understand how they are a carwash as well and can't even have someone wipe the interior clean and disinfect for the next customer. Just WOW!Guillermo C.

Horrible customer service, and I would prefer to not use this location again. Steve, if that is his name as he was quite rude and would expect him to lie, seemed to be the person in charge, or the owner's son. I am not sure. At 8am, my appt time, and I pre-checked in online. He informed me that I had to wait since the computers were still starting. I figured it happens. It wasn't what he said but how he said. I shrugged it off as perhaps he's stressed? I was not done until 8:20. I returned the trailer at 2pm. Steve was outside and rudely said, "Go over there!" Pointing to the parking lot. I'm used to getting checked in with a scanner and the attendants deal with the equipment. So I drive 75ft. He's smoking, NOT wearing a mask. Then yells, "Back over here!" Mind you, perhaps it's his lack of English or difference in culture? I don't know. I got out of my truck and since it was a small motorcycle trailer, I just told him to unhook it, as I had to go. I told him that he was very unprofessional and rude. His customer service had been horrible since the morning. He stood there, smoking. Steve, "I am doing you a favor. I am on my break!" He continued, "We open at 8:30, not at 8. Look online!" I don't know if he meant the car wash or the U-Haul as your website clearly stated 8am as a pick up time. If I have to make another reservation I would like to use the El Cajon location. They are always professional and efficient. If your website directs me to use this Happy Car Wash I will simply use another rental option.MICHAEL S.

It would help if you were more accurate on the Truck milage you have on file. If you are charging each customer a rate per mile, most certainly every mile counts. What U-haul has in their system should always mirror what the truck shows on its mileage.Jerome K.

I had to wait an hour and a half for my reservation after I arrived. They did not have one available and I had to wait while they went and picked one up. Obviously the trailer was never inspected, because the tire was low. The tire had to be continuously refilled on the trip and was almost completely flat after arriving to my final destiny and sitting overnight.KARL M.
