Jeff was a really friendly, awesome, helpful guy. Helped me hook my uhaul up to my truck, checked my lights and I was able to load my tool box on the trailer. This is not related to this specific location, rather to the entire experience. While I understand the fleet of uhaul equipment is constantly changing, I was very disappointed in the fact that each time (twice) I reserved a piece of equipment ahead of time, planned for pickup in a location which worked best for our family, and made arrangements to hire help to load the equipment once we received it, that I was then called by uhaul the day prior to pickup to inform me that I needed to pick up the equipment in a neighboring town which took more than an hour's drive to reach. With fuel prices surging and my hired helpers planned for very specific times, this was extremely frustrating to have to change all plans based on equipment availability at my preferred location (which, the preferred location was an actual uhaul facility, with plenty of equipment on the lot at any given time). We were given a discount and additional days on our reservation as well as miles to account for the additional drive, but overall I would have rather paid the original price than to have to deal with all of the headache and logistics of totally rearranging our plans to travel out of our area to pick up a truck. If a vehicle is reserved for a specific location well in advance (which we did both times) I feel uhaul should honor that reservation and location request by ensuring a vehicle is available at that location rather than forcing customers to drive all over creation to pick up trucks.Ashely K.

The cab of your equipment smells strongly of nicotine and is not good! It was also dirty with Someone other persons footprints o the windshield and dirty windows that had to be cleaned To drive the thing! All kinds of extra fees not advised upon renting. while the truck was clean and relatively new with only 11K miles we had the wheel bearings break 7 hours into our 15 hour ride. This seems a miss on someone's part that should not only check the interior/exterior but also the undercarriage and all aspects related to safety. We were driving on a freeway when this happened and lucky the wheel did not come off, creating an accident. It took 1 hour to get ahold of the right folks at Uhaul, wait 2 hours for someone to check our disabled truck and confirm it was not drive-able, another 2 hours for Uhaul to coordinate a tow-truck and another vehicle, 2 hour wait for tow truck, 1 hour drive to drop truck in Omaha at a dealer, and we were supposed to then pick up new truck, go to hotel - but no communication on their end of lock box # and code. Then had to ask someone for a ride to hotel...ubered back in morning and to schedule movers later than originally planned when coordinating due to wait til hours open and had to work from truck as our trip was planned as a one-day, not two day trip. The second truck did not have usb to charge phone/computer, unlike the first - it was older model. This make difficult to work and keep phone/computer charged - along with noise in truck. We understand things can break but there was a breakdown in communication at various times and so so so much wait time for each part of your process. I am STILL waiting for Mike Allen, Field Manager to call me to resolve our bill as I had out of pocket expenses and would like to discuss the bill overall. When i was online renting the truck it said it was 0.89 per mile when i got there he told me 0.99 on weekends. I think you let your customers know that from the begining. Unles it was written in there somewhere i did not see it.Pam B.

Front wheel felt like it was gonna come off! We called back the owner said he would take care of it as soon as we dropped it back off noone informed him of the problem before now! He was pleasant and over all very easy to work with! The truck was not a problem for us since we were only using it for about 20 miles! Would use this location again!! On the uhaul app or website please include the option to upload photos. I took a picture of the mileage and fuel level before I started my return. By the time I got to the point of taking a picture of the odometer and fuel gauge I had already put the keys in the drop box. This has nothing to do with the location. I would definitely rent from this location again when the time comes that I need a uhaulCharles M.

The location was fine. My experience with U-Haul was not that great. I reserved a 20 ft truck, found out later it wasn't available. Was told I could only get a 15 ft. I asked if I could have a mileage discount because I'd have to make more than one trip and was told no. I called back and asked if the other locations nearby could be checked for the larger truck. The representative's attitude made it clear that she wasn't happy to have to check. While on hold I got disconnected and had to call back and spent over 10 minutes on hold. She then told me that there were no 20 ft trucks available anywhere. I just didn't appreciate the lack of good customer service attitude. The actual rental location was fine.Mary H.

I will not recommend u-haul in general to anyone my experience with the u-haul storage facility employee at 8900 S Cicero in Oaklawn was unspeakably unprofessional and how so very unorganized between the facility and the customer service reps on the phone all need to be retrained on how to properly take a reservation and to know what size units will fit the amount of furniture being hauled as well as the online app to check your equipment in is very bad as well as trying to get someone on the phone to help you with your matter.Laurie B.

For starters we were charged more than quoted. Then we didn't even get 50 miles from home, blew 2 tires on trailer and had to wait 2.5 hours for them to be replaced. Then returning the u haul in Knoxville was a nightmare because the address we were given doesn't even exist. Not ever using uhaul again!MIKE N.

on a freezing day, the manager had the truck all warmed up and ready to go. the truck was brand new, only one trip on it before I got it. Very comfortable. There was a leak in the freight door gasket, and my boxes were all soaked and cost me a full day in unloading and repacking. the regional manager comped me two days, which satisfied me.Tracey S.
