Took forever to get our vehicle. Since it was a liquor store every other customer was rung up during our exchange. After that, we could get code emailed to us to unlock the back to get the keys. I had to go all the way back around the strip mall to tell the cashier to give me the lock combination. He went out the back and opened it up. Why get couldn't have done that 20 minutes prior.... Also only had 1/4 tank of gas.

My original reservation was at a location on Coal Mine Ave. They didn't have a truck so they sent my reservation to Happy Hound Liquor. When I talked to the Coal Mine location, I asked if the liquor store was going to be open at 8am (on a holiday) and they said yes. When we arrived at Happy Hound Liqour at 8am, there were no trucks in the parking lot and the blinking sign said open but the door was locked and the sign said they now open at 9am. I called UHaul and they moved our reservation back to the Coal Mine location but we found someone in the alley behind the liquor store. They said they were the ones renting the UHaul trucks. I called UHaul again and they moved our reservation back to Happy Hound. We got our truck and left about 830am

Worse check-out system ever. Truck came dirty in the back. Website process does not coordinate with the phone app. My email told me to go to the Coal Mine location. After waiting 25 minutes, they told me to come to Happy Liquor. Call the manager to get help with the broken phone app. He told me, "It's not my fault." App does not ask for reservation number. Use FAQ to find the process. App errors out. The entire process was complicated and convoluted, like the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing. If I had not gone to the Coal Mine location, I would never have gotten the plastic wrap roll I paid for online. I'm using another company and telling my friends the same and filling out a complaint.

I was not planning on renting the truck from this location, but the uHaul facility I had made my reservation with did not have the truck I needed, so my order was moved to this location. The owner and his staff were fantastic while working through difficulties we encountered while completing the transaction. Cannot thank them enough.
