This was a great experience in spite of one delay (not related to U Haul) after another. An issue that did come up, was why not have A PERSON answer the phone instead of a robot telling me to go to U Haul . com/assistance for help. I did not have access to a computer or I would have checked in on line. Please realize that people do not always have access to a computer.J P.

I was charged FULL PRICE for getting a truck 1 hr and 14 minute when I ASKED FOR 4 hours, AND TWO separate errors at this location, nobody had a clue what was going on! I only got the uhaul for 1 hr and 14 minute when I SAID 4 hours!! I was still charged 71.05 even though uhaul told me I only had 1.5 hours and I HAD TO BE BACK! They rented it to someone else when this was suppose to be my time to use it! It wasn't a choice! I'll never use uhaul again. Ever!STEPHANIE RENEE P.
The detergent that is used to clean the interior cab area smells like a urinal cake. And offensive odor. But other than that it wA clean. Might I suggest a cleanser that is unscented?Peter W.
There was no one there, even though I returned in business hours...was charged am extra day, even though I arrived before what I thought was my drop off time, and because no one was there I couldn't dispute. I made the reservation and had confirmation numbers days ahead of time but when I went to get the truck I had been told the wrong hours and emailed the wrong hours. They told me that I could pick up the truck until 8 pm but the guy closes at 4:30. I had scheduled moving help that couldn't be rescheduled. Luckily I got there in time but the guy didn't know what to do how how to get me the key to the truck so I was there for over an hour and a half and everyone was waiting for me and I lost some of my help. Then the truck had a shifting problem and a big piece of rubber stripping was flapping in the wind so I got pulled over by the police. NOT a good experience at all and I won't be using Uhaul for my next move in 2 months. I really would just like a refund.MICHELLE RENEE B.

I am thoroughly upset with the process of renting a trailer for two days. Please understand, the dealer gave me the best service he could, I will not hold him accountable for the failings of Corporate U-Haul. Even he expressed his displeasure with the parent company. These are my issues: !) My original order at my chosen pickup site was not reserved after I had reserved it online. No trailer was available, so I was sent across town to get one from another dealer making me 1.5 hours late to my destination. 2) There was NO PAPERWORK handed to me, I had No contact information in case I had an issue, NOTHING to show anyone I legally rented the trailer! 3) I was sent a Text conformation to my phone, and had only 15 minutes in which to view the document and could NOT ACCESS IT AFTERWARDS! due to hooking up the trailer and checking the lighting and safety systems. I asked the dealer, and he confirmed that I would be unable to access the document again. I had missed my chance. 4) My personal information was Captured and entered into the computer using a Photo App on the counter persons PERSONAL PHONE from my Drivers License!! 6) I was e-mailed a PDF receipt that was CORRUPT and UNREADABLE! (the first day). 5) I had no way to confirm the amount I paid until I returned the trailer, waiting until the following business day when I received another PDF file of the receipt and the completed return. While the dealer was understanding, Corporate U-Haul has seriously Dropped the Security Ball on the reservation and payment process. Especially using the PERSONAL phone of a counter person to collect data from a customers Drivers License and giving NO paperwork to show a legally rented trailer.MARK T S.

I would recommend the Harold's location highly, but not U-Haul. Harold was extremely forthcoming with solutions to my loading and unloading needs. I was able to unhitch my car and leave it while unloading at my destination, which I was told by Marchello in Poughkeepsie was not allowed. I am still awaiting a resolution to my issue filed with movinghelp.com, namely Swifty Movers regarding my damaged property. I am hopeful they will do the right thing and take responsibility for the damage they caused. We will see. I was truly disappointed by how I was treated and was brought to tears by your route nine Poughkeepsie location, namely by the manager of the location, Marchello.Julie M.

Harold's was great. But the lady I spoke with at a different location to make the reservation confused my dolly request. I asked for an appliance dolly (rated 750 lbs), but she only reserved me a regular dolly(rated much lower, no straps). But Harold's loaned me one of their rental appliance dollies and saved the day.Frank B.

The building sits back a ways from the road and was difficult to locate in the dark. The check in app didn't work. I was told I would get a call from a district level manager, but that never happened. I have not seen a final bill for my rental. My credit card has been charged because I was notified by my bank of the charge by UHaul.Michael S.

The truck wasn't in proper working order. The dash lights for all the gages don't work which is extremely hazardous. The electrical system isn't working properly, the radio would turn itself on and the wipers on. I have video of all of this and would actually appreciate someone calling me. The AC also doesn't work, the door to the back is damaged and the light in the back of the truck doesn't come on. Because of this and the fact that we were moving at night, I had to make an additional trip that I hadn't planned on which resulted in my card being charged another $70+. I look forward to hearing from someone, I've rented at least 3 other Uhauls and have never had an experience even close to this.Tiffany M.

The drop off took place o.n Sunday 6/30/19 with putting keys in drop box but was not recorded till Tuesday 7/2/19. I had to call and then I got my confirmation email that was received.DAWN F.
I ordered my uhaul and reserved it online a week in advance for 8am, the store is not open until 10, and I had movers waiting to help me. I was on hold with customer service for 25 min before I said screw it and tried a different location. This was from country supermarket on Rawsonville. Luckily Harold's had a truck for me but I had to pay more bc it was bigger.Brieanne R.
