The whole process is absolutely horrible. I even called a head, paid ahead, and called again on Friday to make sure this would not be a debacle, yet it was horrible. The unit was dirty there was a broken board on the inside and the wrong dolly was in the truck. I called customer service was on hold for 45 mins and finally hung up. I will be sure to tell everyone I know what a total debacle this was and how horrible of an exsperience I had.
Shane R.I just wish Heartland Auto Body in Clarinda, Iowa would have been open on Saturday March 19th so I didn't have to drive 53 miles to Creston, Iowa to rent a U-Haul. That was 106 miles round trip I had to put on my car just to rent a U-Haul.
Angela T.My biggest issues - was being on hold for over an hour waiting for someone to answer to help me return the U-Haul because the system kept giving me an error- once online system was up and running it went smoothly- but an hour wait to get help before I could leave the U-Haul - very disappointed and stressful in an already stressful move.

Nissa D.This has nothing to do with the location and everyhting to do with Uhaul. To start, the truck was the wrong size every though I called to confirm the day before. Next, I wasn't informed that I would need to have an emergency contact spoken to in order to pick up. My emergency contact wasn't expecting a call; therefore, he was sleeping and didn't answer. It took me an hour and a half to pick up because of this, ruining any time frame I had planned for the day. When I called Uhaul for help during the pick up process, I was told there was nothing they could do to help me and I'd have to start the process all over again if I wished to change my emergency contact. This is something that absolutely should be mentioned when the reservation is made so people can plan accordingly. This was an awful experience and I will be going with a different company next time.

MICHAEL F.Trying to get my truck was difficult. My husband had a paper copy of his ID because the dmv took the old license so we were put through hell trying to get in. It took almost an hour after we arrived to actually be able to drive away. The chat lady was extremely rude about it as well.
Scott G.You didn't explain the type of contracts and your terminology. I moved 80 miles away to find out when I went to drop off the U-Haul it had to be returned to where I had picked it up. Therefore it required an 160 mile trip. You need to explain them and what they mean. To say I was unhappy would be an understatement
