The pick up was awful. I was rushed, there wasn’t a dolly when I added that to my initial order. That happened last year when I reserved a Uhaul. I wasn’t shown where the truck was. The key wasn’t where it was supposed to be. It was still in the lock box. The drop off location was terrible and the guy was not nice. Then I was charged for gas an amount that was not fairly charged according to the paperwork stating how gas is charged. When a tank is on 3/8 of a tank what is that even? I took pictures of where the gas was when I returned it and it was (at least it looks like it) on the line when I picked it up. That is $5 of gas MAYBE, IF it was off. Not $27 and some change. That would put the truck on half a tank. Then I was charged for damages to the roof. It said there was a hole in the roof but that was there BEFORE I had the truck according to the representative I spoke to. I’m just not happy with this service I received. The truck was dirty on the inside when I picked it up. It had some black debris in the back. It’s too much. I’m hoping I can go with another company next time. I’ve been choosing Uhaul for years for all of my moves and it gets worse every time.

First location didn’t have right equipment that I had reserved. Therefore, I had to find another location several miles away again they did not have the equipment that I reserve to go with the truck. I then had to drive to another location 6 miles away in order to get the dolly and furniture mover that I had requested along with furniture pads not only did this inconvenience me by having to go to three different locations, but it added to the mileage that I was allowed the first location I went to the person there was not helpful at all and seemed rushed and even told me you only have a few minutes because I close at three. This experience with U-Haul was very disappointing. It will make me hesitant to use U-Haul in the future.

DORIES CI really don’t have any complaints with the business but I would like to just state that since theft of gasoline and catalytic converters are a major and common problem for the businesses that maybe more diligence should be taken by the establishments to do thorough inspections at the start of each day to ensure that the customers are safe and not at risk of being stranded in the event that theft has occurred. I really appreciate the U-Haul team for making my experience as less stressful as it could have been under the circumstances. The compassion and communication skills of the entire call staff was outstanding. Thank you.
