The owner I assume was late to open his own facility. I stood there for 20 minutes waiting around for help. I checked the truck and key pick up to find nothing there. By the time I got through to customer service he finally arrived. He looked surprised to even have someone picking up his 1 vehicle. The shop entrance cluttered with boxes and parts making it look extremely unprofessional. He had ZERO barriers for customers and the desk for Covid. He didn't even bother putting on a mask while I was inside with him. Apparently safety was very low on the priority list. You can tell he never checked or prepped the vehicle as it had low tire pressure soon as I turned it on. The funny thing is he went out to double check the miles so he clearly saw the warning come on and ignored it. The door panel interior was broken the handle nearly came off in my hand as I closed the door. I was forced to use this facility because the companies inability to deliver on a reservation. I needed 15 ft truck one way and they could not provide me that. I was left a voicemail that my truck was now at another location (not even this one) and it was a in town only which is NOT what I needed. I called back to be told that voicemail was wrong they had NO VEHICLE FOR ME! I had a crew and people ready to go for moving and they drop this in my lap less than 24 hrs of picking up. I had to go 45 minutes out of my way get a vehicle and it was only 10 ft. This caused me to do double trips and work because this companies complete lack of planning. I made the reservation a week ago and it is absolutely appalling they wait the day before to actually see if they have a vehicle for me. The company claimed they had no 15ft trucks available anywhere near where I wanted, they claim to checked 50 plus mile range. They only offered me the 10 ft truck as replacement, which is ridiculous to offer smaller not larger. The only half way decent thing they did was knock down the per mileage charge as I complained this now going make double my travels as I need do multiple trips. I ended up not even completing the whole move due to the untimely arrival and additional time to pick this truck up way out of my way.Michael M.
The owner at this facility was fantastic. There were a lot of obstacles for him on Uhaul's technical side of things which lead to a 30 minute check in. This was not at all his fault as the system made him start over 3 times. Improving the check in process on Uhaul's end would have improved the experienceKIERSTEN G.
The pick up time was scheduled for 8AM and the representative did not arrive until 9:45AM, which means I sat there for an hour and 45 mins. Then it took the rep about 45 mins to get the paperwork done, meaning I did not leave with the truck until 10:30AM.Michael C.

I felt really bad for the man who was checking out our U-Haul. none of the paperwork on line was right so he had to call U haul customer service. It took almost two hours to get the truck.Robert E.
I had to drive 45 minutes from my desired pick up location to this one. I then took nearly 2 hours to complete the pick up as the computer systems were not cooperating. i answered the same questions over and over and over and over. Eventually I lost all patience and the personnel had to call Uhaul twice to complete the transaction.Dominick D.

While getting my uhaul trailer the owner of the place that rented them out did not have the trailer checked in from last time and had to call uhaul company twice. The second call was because they tried to charge me $140 for 4 hours of use. The trailer was full of sand and leaves. Not to mention that before all this I tried to rent an enclosed trailer and was forced to get the open one and go to a different location. Needless to say this is my worst experience with uhaul and will now be buying my own trailer just to avoid having to deal with this ridiculous companyKyle F.
This was not our preferred pickup location, in fact it was a third choice option, after the second location notified us the day before pickup that the equipment would not be available there. They were not able to supply me with all of the materials that were reserved. The moving pads were not bundled, and they were only able to locate a few to give me.Raymond B.

This is the best U-Haul Operation I have ever used. They made sure my 2 pieces of equipment were at their location and contacted me several times to ensure the highest level of service. Brand new truck (150 miles) to pull a vehicle trailer more than 350 miles. I would drive 50 miles out of my way to rent from Henry Jackson and team.Kevin B.

Front chain to tie down auto was missing. These trailers were not available in my area causing me to drive with the truck from Brick NJ to Cream Ridge NJ. I was charged for extra mileage upon returning equipment and that was the reason why. I had to chase down one of your trailers.
