I was told I had to drive three hours to pick my trailer up and I was going to get a day free. I didn't get the free day and I was actually charge $75 more than what my receipt says. I tried calling U-Haul numerous times and no one answered or called me back. I honestly don't think I would use U-Haul againHeidi B.

Nicest place on the Shore to deal with. Had a very negative experience at Moe's Towing, which is just a few miles away. Called Henslers and within 15 minutes, I was happily driving a U-Haul truck away. Highly recommend!!!!Cheryl S.

Told i could pick up the truck at 830am. By the owner the day before. Drove 6 hours to pickup the truck. Arrived at 830am and no one around. Called the number and they said they wouldn't be there until 945. After talking to traffic, I had to download the app. App froze and had to call back. Mike gave me passcode to take the truck. I worked at uhaul for 2 years in college. I would never had done that to a customer or I would had been fired. Uhaul has really gone down hill. Very unsatisfied.....Jake S.

The contract I received at the time of rental had the location I wanted to drop the rental off to, New Church, VA. But on 06/16/2019 I received a text stating I had to take the rental to another location when I called to ask why, I was told that New Church, VA should not have been an option when I rented (pre-paid also) on line. I was first told I had to take it over an hour away from where I was. If I had violated the mutually agreed upon contact there would be fines/penalties to be paid. I kept my end of the contract, picking it up at the location and dropping it off on the agreed date. Your end did not keep your end of the contact by causing me to drive further than the agreed upon location. What fines/penalties will be awarded to me? I may not use Uhaul every day, but I have used Uhaul several times in the past, not happy about the breach of contract.Charles N.

This is the second time I've rented a Uhaul from the this location & I am just as disappointed this time as I was last time. I only picked this location because they were the only one in my area that had a truck available for that day. They charged me for things that was not told to me prior to me renting the truck & then they add all of these other charges that are uncalled for. Location was in a shed not markedm my miles were over because it was based on the 1st drop off location but I was told I had yo drop it off in another town because the original location didn't accept equipment. When I reserved this trailer on line I asked for NO insurance. After the rental I noticed I received insurance. After the rental, within 2 hours, I notified the email address provided on the rental agreement about the mistake. I asked for a refund of $14.95 for the insurance I did NOT want. i heard NO reply. Unless someone contacts me reguarding this I will never rent from Uhaul ever again.. Not a happy customer when I receive NO response for a concern.Jeffrey P.

The woman who helped us was funny, very nice, and made the rental go by super fast and explained things very well. One of the sets of blankets we did receive were unfortunately covered in mold, but that comes with the territory of the area. We really didn't end up using any blankets.Kimberly T.
Signage was poor and faded, making it a challenge to locate. The office was not at all visible from the outside; i had no idea anyone was there. As we prepared to leave, a person came out and was less than friendly. After removing a leaf from the truck, i was charged $25 for cleaning. Ridiculous. First of all my contract was to pickup at 10:am a 15' van at 1522 Market St Ste 1 Pocomoke City, MD 21851. This was to be a 2 day rental however I spoke with someone from that location and stated that I was at the location on the contract, and that I was headed to there new location to arrive in 5 minutes. They were nowhere to be found when I arrived and I could not reach them by phone. At the location I did pickup I explained that I only would need the truck for one day and was promised the rate of a 10' van. I was checked in by someone who was processing a rental for the first time she admitted. I was over charged I had the unit for less than 24 hours.WILLIAM M.
