The operator of this U-Haul location is great. These review and comments are for U-Haul corporate: DO NOT SHOW MOBILE PICK-UP AND RETURN OPTION IF YOU CANNOT DELIVER!! I planned my whole event around the flexibility of "Mobile" PIck-up and Return. Yet, none of that worked. You messed up the major part of my event. WORST UHAUL LOCATION I HAVE EVER USED. STORE IS NASTY. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. THEY CHARGED ME FOR GAS AFTER ME PUTTING GAS IN THE TRUCK AND HAVING PHOTOS. I ALWAYS YOU A CORPORATE LOCATION AND ONLY USED THEM DUE TO LAST MINUTE BOOKING BUT I REGRET IT AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.Vyllora H.

THE TRUCK THAT I RENTED WAS INFESTED WITH ANTS, DIRTY AND THE TRUCK HAD SEVERE IGNITION SWITCH PROBLEMS. THEY STATED THE TRUCK NORMALLY HAS ANTS. THE PROFESSIONAL THING TO DO IS FIX THE ANT PROBLEM BEFORE RENTING OUT THE TRUCK AND FIX THE IGNITION SWITCH SO YOUR CUSTOMER DOES NOT HAVE A CONSTANT ISSUE WITH CRANKING THE VEHICLE UP. WHEN I CONTACTED THE DEALER THEY ASKED IF I COULD BRING THE TRUCK BACK SO THEY COULD SPRAY IT OUT ! I ASKED IF I COULD RETURN THE VEHICLE AND HE SAID â€œHE WILL NOT REFUNDâ€ ! I DIDNT ASK FOR A REFUND I ONLY WANTED TO RETURN THIS PROBLEM TRUCK . WHEN I RETURNED THE VEHICLE THE OWNER WAS SO RUDE AND ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE TRUCK . PLEASE CHECK THE VEHICLE OUT FIRST IF YOU RENT FROM HERE !! THEY WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE AND WILL ARGUE AGAINST THERE PROBLEMATIC TRUCKS!! BEWARE !!!Brittney B.
The only issue I had is that the hand truck and moving blankets I requested were not available. Otherwise the van was great, easy to drive.Cynthia M.
Truck had a leaky roof. We had to drive through tropical storm Fred and a lot of my boxes got soaked because of the leak. Also, the wipers functioned horribly, the wheel alignment was off and I needed to stop and add air to the front passenger tire because it was deflated so much. Wondering how often and thoroughly your trucks are checked and serviced so that they are safe for your customers.George V.

The location is very crowded and very hard to park the trucks and make turns due to all the rental cars they have. Personnel was super nice and very helpful but the location could be better.Mary C.

The people at both locations did their jobs well. The only issue I had was with the quality of the truck itself, specifically the steering. I drove commercial trucks that required a CDL for over 10 years, so it wasn't that difficult for me to manage. I would imagine that a novice or inexperienced driver would have had a hard time just keeping the truck in their lane on the highway.Colin S.

they didn't seem to be expecting the truck even though it was on my drop off location but they were nice and accommodating.TERESA E.
I requested the contactless pickup so I could move at my own pace, luckily, I called to double check my reservation. I was told that the place closed at noon, but if I hurried I could pick it up. I told them I requested contactless, I was then told they don't offer that.ðŸ¤· When I got there, the price had gone up and the truck had less than a quarter tank of gas. I was given a small discount to offset the gas, but when I returned it with three quarters of a tank, they would not refund the overage. Overall I'm ok with U-Haul, but the pickup location was lacking in communication, and customer service.DEANNA W.

Checking in was easy since I had completed registration online prior to arrival. However, it was my first time renting a Uhaul and I wish they had gone over turn in procedures as well- or told me where to look for turn in directions.virginia R.
Terrible customer service. Confusion and they even argued with me about $3 in gas, after I showed them where I put gas in the van. Will never use this location again.Lorinda W.
This is the second time renting from this location. The first time rental went fine and equipment ok. I checked out received my receipt and completed rental. Some time later I booked a rental and upon arrival to pick up I was informed that I had a outstanding balance related to the above mentioned rental. I was told I was not allowed to rent until I settled this debt. I explained that I did not have a balance and even though uhaul had that record of completed transaction I was told that that the above location had a submitted outstanding balance. I was treated with disrespect by the agent and did not have any recourse. I paid the amount grudgingly as I needed to get moved and needed to get a truck asap. Fast forward 2 years later and last week I booked a rental and did not realize this was the location that overcharged me. I brought it up to the owner and he said that if I got a receipt I was paid in full. I took the loss and gave them another chance and just like before no problem with pickup or equipment. When I returned and received receipt I noticed a charge of $20 for after hours check out fee. I asked why and he said it was just the insurance fee. I quickly showed him he was wrong and then he admitted to the mistake. I kept original receipt and after 2 attempts to correct I received a receipt showing a refund of $20. They were closing and rushed me out. I checked my cc transactions and there was no record of a refunded amount of $20. I retrieved my receipt and noticed the owner had put in cash next to the $20 refund. I immediately knew he tried to snake me because I paid with a cc and he put in cash. This is now become more than a coincidence and I would not trust these guys with any business related transactions. I am awaiting to hear back from Uhaul claims department. The website was way too many steps to get the truck and double the cost for one way. There needs to be more trucks and one way locations available. Although, the no contact feature was appreciated. I'm disappointed with my experience it took 3 hours to complete.Jennifer Y.

I reserved online, where U-Haul was short on transparancy. They tell you the rental fee is $19.95 per day plus $0.59 per mile. Fine. They do not disclose you are expected to buy gas in addition, or that their vehicles get only 5 mpg, or that their per gallon charges are twice the current gas station price. I can't say I was cheated as perhaps all companies charge the same, but I recommend shopping around more than I did.John L.

After trying to reserve online, the website would not allow me to choose the Nesbit Ferry location as they did not have any 10' trucks. I had to pick a location that HAD what I needed available as it was booked at 404 pm and I did not have time to go from location to location. It would not allow me to select the same location to return the uhaul. When I asked about it at the counter at the dealer location which i have NEVER used I was told that I was good to go and okay to return at the Nesbit location. There was no customer education provided after engaging in a conversation explaining I was moving 3 miles from there what in town meant. I was charged $129 for using 14 miles and a $19.95 truck. Brian the traffic controller was NOT helpful at all amd DID NOT listen to my issue and what I had to say. iI WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN UNHAPPG UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE.Myisha B.

The desk staff were professional, explained what was going on and processed my reservation and turn in quickly. ?? BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! I'm not overstating that this has been the worst experience that I ever have had with a company in my life... Go to Penske, Home depot rental, Budget, Enterprise, or any other place instead of this companyâ€¦? They rented me a broken truck with a terrible noise, they heard it and they said nothing and unfortunately, I don't know anything about mechanics and I was late for a scheduled pickup. They didn't say anything when I returned the truck and I discovered about this when I was trying to rent another truck days later and, This is the WORST PART: THEY CHARGE ME FOR THE BROKEN TRUCK! THEY LIED TO ME, THEY HID STUFF, THEY CALLED ME THINGS AND I SPENT SEVERAL HOURS TRYING TO TALK TO SOMEONE that had the authority to help meâ€¦ Now I understand why the first time that I went they tried to rent me another truck different than the one that I rented online, and the second time even when I had a scheduled rental, they wanted to rent me a Hertz truck. I discovered that day that they filed a claim against me without telling me nothing. THEY CALLED ME LIAR and THEY EVEN SUGGESTED THAT I STOLE THE ENGINE PART, they probably took the liberty to called me like that because of my looks (I was on my moving clothes, I just moved to the Neighborhood) or MAYBE THEY THOUGHT THAT I WAS ILLEGAL. They said, and I quote, that â€œIt is your word against our wordâ€. THIS IS MORE LIKELY AN INSURANCE SCAM THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS that are willing to let go instead of fight back. THE INSURANCE COMPANY (Repwest) SAID THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY PROOF OF THE U-HAUL CLAIMS (I have recorded every call that I made). ??Jonathan Shown, The Aerial MANAGER, NEVER ANSWERED ANY OF MY EMAILS OR CALLS, NOT EVEN ONCE. Jonathan Shown even claimed that he was present when I was renting the truck but that day there only was three employees present and any of those employees was white. WHY THE MANAGER HAD TO LIE? Probably to cover whatever they are doing with the trucks, ?I found Jonathan Shown's social media account but I'll now not share it for the respect of his privacy... ???I TOLD THEM THAT I HAVE PROOFS THAT THE TRUCK WAS GAVE IT TO ME LIKE THAT BUT THEY DIDN'T CARE. They send me a letter telling me that I have to pay or I will be sent to Collection and they gave a couple of days to do itâ€¦. this has been a horrible experience but I will continue fighting back because THEY PROBABLY WILL CONTINUE DOING THIS UNTIL SOMEBODY DO SOMETHINGâ€¦ THESE ARE THE FACTS:? 1. I have several witnesses: Fortunately, I have eyewitnesses. I was with family members that were helping me that they, they were driving behind me as soon as I got out from the u-Haul location. They heard the sound and asked me about it, I didn't know that I was given a broken truck,? 2. I stopped the truck in front of the loading and unloading gate because everything was ready to pick up and they were waiting for me since I had a programmed picking up. 3. We used the trJorge S.
