Make sure the Boss that actually takes care of the U-Haul business from his Gas Station, trains his staff (one Guy) running the whole thing - and had to call the boss to do the check-in... The Boss Was really unprofessional - and I feel sorry for the Person who had to do the work... Worse is that Coop's Garage Burned down two days before I was to pick it up from there... Then Had to go to this place... Took me over One Hour to Finally drive out of the Place- - - I was the only one picking up a Truck.mark V.

We had a UHaul reserved for pick up in Canmore and even had my assistant call to double check everything was good to go. Upon arrival we found out that not only did they give our truck away but had nothing to substitute it for. We needed the biggest and they had one of the smallest. We then were told that we had to drive 2 hours to Black Diamond to pick up a truck as that's all they could do. I had 20 people helping us move that day as well as childcare for my severally autistic daughter and this literally messed with all of those peoples work / life schedules. I can't believe that after confirming twice this happened. We also had to move 8 hours away so you can imagine adding 5 more driving hours onto that with 20 people standing around waiting for this, I ended up spending thousands of dollars in labour for people to just wait. This is unacceptable. I know it's not your fault, the person reading this message but I really think this is terrible service and I'm hoping to get 50% refunded. They gave us 10% but this is not a simple mistake, this was huge and I hope you can understand that we shouldn't have to pay the full amount. The location was great, but the booking experience was terrible. I booked in Okotoks online with no problems and then the confirmation call told me I'd have to pick up in Black Diamond - 20 km away. This happened the day before my reservation, leaving me no choice but to continue. This ended up costing me at least $40 more to rent the truck. I will be requesting a refund for this amount.Camie L.
My problem is with Uhaul itself. I sent a picture of the gas tank at 3/4 full and sent it to the company. I filled the tank to 3/4 full when I returned. I was charged for 1:4 of a tank of gas. I would like my money back.Kat M.

A complete and an utter gong show. Took an hour to get the truck, over paid in cash for the truck and gas (because the teller didn't know how to process the order/my card/or the policy on gas when not filled up), and then had to debate with manager to get some of the money refunded (still not as much as what I think should have been refunded). As I was rushing was late to meet hired moving help, did a second trip to get remaining items (not far) that would have fit in truck initially (from my barn) because I was rushing with movers who were only hired for a short time (got charged as much as extra time for movers in the end). Didn't receive the emailed contract till later that night (after requested, so I could see why I paid double than expected)...it did not accurately say what I paid in cash (I have till receipt) and then was surprised by the mileage charge (almost double the rental itself). Will never use uhaul again. Oh yeah, after confirming that equipment was in back of truck the night before, they took it out; as I was stressed and rushing and trying to help teller process order, I didn't double check and ended up not having moving blankets or dollies for my movers...just brutal!Sheila S.

Jessica From Fas Gas in Black Diamond, AB provided exceptional service. Especially during these difficult times. Uhaul was very accommodating given we were unable to drop off at our preferred location. We made arrangements with Uhaul through the help of both Koops and Fas Gas in Black Diamond. My only concern was the Uhaul call Center is not well informed of the insurance options and current conditions of which dealers are open or closed. In future I will only book through authorized dealers that help me much more than the North American Uhaul call centre personal.christopher F.

It took 3 days to be able to rent it. No staff for the first 2 attempts knew how. Truck exhaust was almost too loud to drive with and windows needed to be down so the cab didn't fill from the exhaust. Front tires were not good for this time of year.Charlotte J.
