The pick-up location was in the middle of a vacant, grassy lot surrounded by old cars and trucks. There was no one at this location to help hook up the trailer. Had I not rented this kind of trailer in the past I would not have had someone there to assist me. Since this location was in middle of a vacant, grassy lot the trailer itself was not able to be moved by a single person. All U-haul locations I have rented from in the past had equipment/trailers on paved surfaces so that they could be moved to place the hitch over the ball. After 10 minutes I was able to finally strong arm the trailer onto the ball and complete the hook-up. I was contacted by text by the rental agent and able to speak with a live individual. However, on several follow-up attempts to contact the agent, there was no answer and only the generic, de-hunamizing "The person at phone number ....". Just a suggestion for the agent - Take a moment to record a personalized greeting. The reason I rented from this location was due to the fact that I had a pallet of material to transport from a nearby facility to my home 2 hours away. The next time I have to do this I will rent from another location and simply trailer the trailer. There is no charge for mileage on these trailers. Not sure how the other reviews mention people being at the location being friendly and helpful. This is not true.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The truck was ready, cleaned, and filled up when we arrived and we were early. Highly recommended using them for your moving needs. Teresa and Steve were beyond welcoming.

They charged way too much for gas and extra miles. We put gas in it and barely went over miles.
