First experience the truck was out of oil so I had to wait for manager to arrive to secure another truck; second experience, truck was dirty inside and had just enough gas to get me to a storage facility before adding gas to tank.

When I called Uhaul to determine where to drop off my trailer they told me I would have to return it to Beaufort, SC (an hours drive away). I asked to talk to a supervisor. I was directed to Jennifer who pretty much told me "tough luck" and that I would have to drive to Beaufort (which she said was only 1/2 hour away - it is 58 minutes away with light traffic). When I asked to speak to her supervisor, Jennifer informed me that nothing would change, and that I would have to take the trailer to Beaufort. Within 10 minutes, her manager, Debra, called and authorized me to drop the trailer off at the Cardinal Ct. location because the owner of that facility graciously agreed to accept the trailer. The gentleman at Cardinal Ct said that he preferred not dealing with trailers but would make an exception for us. Both Debra and the Cardinal Ct owner made, what I thought would be a very bad experience, a very pleasant experience. I enjoyed talking to both of those people.

Sheila was extremely accommodating and helped us clear up issues with our reservation and drop off location issues when corporate u-haul staff were unable to assist. They should take a lesson from Sheila on how to treat a customer.

This is third consecutive week for rentals and had unexpected charges applied to my card called customer service and they stated would take 72 hrs for answer I had gone back in person to discuss issue and told beyond their ability !!! Told to call 1-800-uhaul

Improve company ... Be honesty . And have truck who work better Don't overcharge customer . Have better honesty customer service on phone and at the office . Totally dishonest business . And better communication office and local office . Hesaid I have to put a complain to u guys . This location did not obide by any COVID guidance U-HAUL claims to follow on its website. It was dirt, the can had safety issues and staff did not wear masks.

The customer service was excellent but the truck itself needed maintenance. There were three service lights on and it drove very poorly. Since I was only using it locally for a total of 7 miles, I wasn't really concerned. But for a longer trip I would have returned it immediately. Otherwise, all went well.

I was NEVER told about after hour fee. I could have returned in morning. Also cleaned and parked so it was easy for next person. No where was $20 fee revealed, no notice or paperwork provided

While the moving truck experience was perfect, the MovingHelp experience has been a nightmare at a time of high stress. Our first movers flaked 2 days before our move and we cannot get any assistance in getting a refund. I have spent over four hours on hold, been told "it's not our problem" by U-Haul corporate (even though their website returns an error message when I attempt to cancel the order), been ignored by MovingHelp.com, and cannot find a resolution. I am disappointed by U-Haul's lack of involvement in resolving this issue. They partnered with this company--they need to stand by them and help customers with resulting issues. The web is full of reviews with similar stories, which I sadly did not find until we ran into problems. My fault for trusting U-Haul's reputation.

Trailer sitting on the ground- no jack, no stand. Had to lift by hand to put on trailer hitch. Better have a strong back.

The Cardinal Ct location was great and very helpful. However, my experience with 1-800-go-uhaul was beyond terrible. I was lied to by agents on the phone. My truck was not available at the location promised and my truck size was not available at all. Apparently the truck I requested was available 2 hours away but after 20 phone calls to that location no one answered. The uhaul agents had no idea how to help me out...but Uhaul at Cardinal Ct in Hilton head found me a truck that worked and saved the day. The 1-800 service, when you can reach an agent, is worthless.

While the van was not dirty, per se, it was clear that it had not been cleaned from the previous renter. There were muddy footprints on the floor and the passenger seat had what looked like dog hair and dander on it. I vaccumed the seats and sanitized the interior with Lysol spray. Wise, with the Covid-19 pandemic.
