Truck interior was clean. Windshield looked like it had never been washed..no windshield washer solution, or it just wouldn't work. Windshield wiper blades badly needed to be replaced. The personnel were friendly and quite efficient. Same with the personnel when I returned the truck in Tucson.William W.
We returned the truck on Sunday, no one attending. They contested my claims about the gas, but they did connect me to the UHaul service center, who resolved my issues.Winfred H.
I was initially charged for 9 gallons of gas on my vehicle return, after only recording 13 miles driven AND putting in 1.7 gallons of gas. It took several phone calls (that did not go to the actual location) to get this straightened out. But it did get straightened out in the end and I am grateful for that. A guy came out to help us unhook the trailer after I backed it in. It was sprinkling at the time. He said nothing else was needed, so we got back in the truck and left to drive home. The next day, halfway home, when getting gas, I noticed that the 2â€ball was gone from my hitch. I have called three times and have only gotten an answering service. Each time I have left my name and number and a message and still have not received a return call. Why would a uHaul place need a ball, or remove it in the first place? They've make no effort to contact me.KIM S.

We were not informed at the time of reservation of our drop-off point and not informed that UHaul would have storage lockers at some of these drop-off points. if we had known, it would have saved us considerable time and aggravation locating and dealing with other storage point providers.jerry N.
Tell you customers to drive to the drop-off location as soon as they hit town. Negotiating in neighborhoods is risky when you have a car in tow. If they are making a run with overnight stays tell them to only book accommodations with semitruck parking and get the placement designated before pulling onto the property. All the advise and instructions you offer never mention how in the blind the trailer is when being towed and even worse when being backed!Larry A.

I would have given this location an excellent however there is one major issue. When doing after hours drop off your site wants us to use our cell phone to complete the drop off. The problem is that this location has very weak internet service which made it very hard to do.Daniel J.

From the time I called the main number and reached a call center to meeting Alice in person at the Taos location - it was a great experience. Everyone was professional and friendly. Moving is stressful - everyone at UHaul made it less so.Haven L.
Paid on a car hauler for two days rental, brought back in 1, and got rooked for a day. Left fender was damaged prior to picking trailer up from lot. I talked to the guy and he said it was ok. It wasn't ok.Edward G.

We didn't have the insurance on our reservation when we reserved it. When asked we said we didn't want the insurance. We were billed for the insurance. It's a bit frustrating. Good location and equipmentJUSTIN N.
No one was present and the online return service could not locate me or my husband after multiple attempts. Someone we talked to on the phone made a note in the file but we were not able to mark the return on our end. Thank you for a great experience! Everyone I dealt with, whether in the office or on the phone, was kind and courteous. I was disappointed to received a notice that my storage price was all of a sudden increased. I was a semi-long term renter who was always on time with my payments, and to have a rate increase during my contract, and during difficult times universally, I was put off by this action. This was a horrible experience. The morning before our move we received a call telling us the nearest truck of our size was a 3 hour roundtrip drive away . Obviously during a move three hours is a lot of time . I was not happy but had no options so I agreed to this and scheduled a pick up for that night . An hour later I got a call saying that despite the fact they had guaranteed me this truck they had rented this truck out for the day and I couldn't pick up until morning. So I had to reschedule my moving crew. At the pick up they charged us about 300 more then what they quoted , they also did not apply the credits they had said they would to compensate me. They eventually did refund this money but it required even more of my time calling the Main number . This was a customer service failure on multiple levels and multiple times over the same incident . I would strongly recommend against using this company . Your reservation means nothing and you may find yourself without a truck on the day of your move . Horrible experienceJames H.

The personnel, particularly the manager, Alice, at the north side facility were very kind and understanding when any problem arose regarding payment (which was usually the bank's fault), regarding access and any little problem that we might experience. The truck was dirty inside and out with some sticky stuff in the bed of the truck so was not a pleasant launch especially given covid and ya think you would step up cleaning. Not like I got any discount either esp since it was a 24 hr rental and I only needed it for 5-6 hrs while my auto was being repaired. Also was told by a clerk at the other location that they closed at 3 pm which since the mechanic was not done made for a rushed crazy event and when I dropped my wife at the mechanics in order to rush the truck back I found out that was not true and that they had not changed the voice message and yes the clerk seemed to not know what time they closed as I explained my situation trying to figure out a solution with her of which she could offer none and then to find out she and the phone message were both incorrect that they in deed were open till 4 pm.Sky M.

Change of ownership brought many unwelcome changes, ranging from numerous increases in rent to cessation of sending paper bills. Emailed bills are generic (to renters at all locations) and did not include address of where to send local payment, requiring renter to look up mailing address every time. When I requested a paper bill, I was told I would have to pay extra. Long-time employee, Alice, was always helpful, friendly and sensitive to this small community, but out-of-town ownership not so much.Holly A. | Overall Experience

I had to drop off the truck after hours. It was difficult and I was unable to do the online check in deal. I find that very annoying that i could be charged for not doing something online. When a person is moving sometimes dealing with a phone check in is impossible. However overall I appreciated Uhauls help here.David H.

I reserved a 20 foot truck and was called two days before to inform me that I would be getting a 15 foot truck. This requires making an additional 6 hour round trip to move the stuff I needed to move. Totally unsatisfactory!Andrew C.
