Don't do anything different, the young lady that helped me was amazing. Sharp knew what she was doing well organized, and went out and help us put the trailer on the truck. You better keep her.

Please check the hook latch on the loading door as it was difficult for it to catch and lock. One time we had to use a long pointed object to jiggle the spring, which finally allowed the lock to catch and another time we had to use a rock to bang on the handle of the hook in order to get it low enough to engage its clasp.

Hi beam headlights did not work. Low beam headlights were not aligned properly. Very stressful and difficult driving at night in rural areas without cell phone service.

I was pleased with the rental until I received the bill. Charging 26 dollars for using a credit card is not only unfair, it is just NOT right! Reimburse the fraudulent 26 dollars, and I will recommend you to a friend!

Younger woman was inattentive and it seems as though our business was inconvenient for her. Middle aged woman is delightful. Passcode to gate is inordinately long. A "seeing eye" switch on the gate coming out would be helpful instead of having to re-input code.

I usually love you guys, however there were a couple glitches from the pick up location that I thought I would mention. First, the inside of the box was not clean, with sand and dirt spread across the bed. Secondly, the rental agent neglected to tell us to expect a text respond to before taking off. By the time we noticed it, it had already expired. Lastly, and probably most irritating, was the agent also told us the tank was full. However, I didn't check the gauge until we were 5 miles away (no time to go back), but the indicator was already a notch or 2 below the "F" mark. And when I filled it at the end of our trip, the gauge was way beyond the "F" ...indicating that the tank really was not that close to full when we got it. For what it's worth, our trip was 115 miles, yet required 12+ gallons to fill it. The tab for the fuel was $36. I don't see any way it should have been any more than $15 to $20 for that distance. So that's the story for this trip. Like I said, I've used you guys a few times, and think you generally do a bang-up job. And aside from those couple drawbacks, everything else went just fine. However, if you really wanted to make things right and credit some $$ back to me for the gas, I probably wouldn't refuse it. :-) Take care, jk.

I rented a trailer on Saturday and checked the equipment in on Sunday and was charged double. During checking, I marked the box that I disagreed with the total amount and was informed a representative would contact me. No contact was made.

I dropped the trailer off after hours and used the U-Haul app to complete the drop off confirmation. The cell service at this location was weak and it took over 30 minutes and repeated attempts to complete the process on the app. I ended up calling customer service to complete the drop off process. Perhaps offer free wi-fi near the office for better connectivity.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Really bummed that Uhaul took the jack's off of the trailer tongues. This made the move much more difficult as the trailer needed to be dropped / parked in the duration of the move.

I would not recommend it because within two years that I rented the unit, the cost of the storage unit was raised over 50%. That is way over the price of inflation. The staff is wonderful but Hinds And Hinds Storage Northside has become too expensive and how much overhead cost does a storage unit, there’s no electricity in the storage unit there’s no water there’s no gas and that the price went up over 50%.

Alice, the office person was always friendly and helpful. i decided to seek another storage locker option because the facility continued to raise the price of a monthly locker to the point at which i decided that was absurd to pay that amount of money. that, the new mandatory insurance policy, and the overall feeling of the place having changed. thankful for Alice and her kindness.

When I first rented this 10X10 unit from Hinds & Hinds 4 years ago it was $80/mo. After the rate was raised to $131/mo, the fourth rate increase in as many years, I emailed to object to this price increase but no one responded so I decided to move to another facility. All other local storage facilities are charging less than $90/mo for a 10X10 and less than $131 for a 10X20. It seems to me this company, Hinds & Hinds, is only interested in making more and more money and not providing any extra or better service for the increased price. I'm happy with my new facility - twice the space for less cost. Sorry I didn't move out sooner.

Best storage facility in Taos and best one I’ve used in several states. They keep the driveway areas clean and free of standing mud and water. Units were tight and not very dusty. Staff was always helpful and courteous.

I was a semi-long term renter who was always on time with my payments, and to have a rate increase during my contract, and during difficult times universally, I was put off by this action. The personnel, particularly the manager, Alice, at the north side facility were very kind and understanding when any problem arose regarding payment (which was usually the bank's fault), regarding access and any little problem that we might experience. I never worried about security, as they have proper coverage with fence, personnel, and cameras. Quality operation. LH

Change of ownership brought many unwelcome changes, ranging from numerous increases in rent to cessation of sending paper bills. Emailed bills are generic (to renters at all locations) and did not include address of where to send local payment, requiring renter to look up mailing address every time. When I requested a paper bill, I was told I would have to pay extra. Long-time employee, Alice, was always helpful, friendly and sensitive to this small community, but out-of-town ownership not so much.
