The truck itself needed serious maintenance. There were lots of issues, including no lights inside the storage area. They were there, but they didn’t work anyway. The emergency brake stuck, and I broke off my entire pointer finger nail when it finally snapped loose. The ramp is warped and took four people to pull it out and wedge it. The vehicle needs maintenance and runs extremely rough, but I do know the weather is for so this could be a lot of the issues with the vehicle. When I picked it up, there was a group of young people there it looked like they were definitely up to something they shouldn’t be doing and made some comments about my vehicle. Super uncomfortable moment. And I was extremely disappointed when I tried to contact customer service as the one person I got told me they didn’t know to every single question I had or they couldn’t help me. It took me almost 2 1/half hours to get the rental because the online check-in not the location itself. Most of this rating has to do with the online service and the online assistance not necessarily the location. The location itself was probably fine but I would never recommend anyone use U-Haul after this experience and the one prior I’ve used U-Haul many times, but this will be the last now that there are other options in the industry I have no interest in ever using U-Haul again

JUAN PFirst, this was not our original location chosen. I had reserved at a location that was open on Sundays at 9 am, because we were on a time crunch. Day before (on Saturday) I get a message that we now have to pick up at a different location that does not open until 10:30 am. Luckily, I was able to change the pick-up to Saturday, because 10:30 am was way too late to get started. When inspecting the trailer, it was discovered the running lights did not work. Not ideal since part of the drive was going to be at night. We were told we had to take it or have nothing. The taillights worked off and on, but the right blinker never worked on our 8 hour drive.

Corey WThis one is tough! I had to drop off my car trailer early so I could utilize my car and not tow/drive the 26' truck and trailer through the city. When I arrived, with truck and car trailer it was very cold, snowing, and getting dark, about 4pm. I called ahead to ensure I had an area to unload and park the car trailer, very friendly and said they would ensure there was plenty of room. When I showed up, the 2 boys said drop it off wherever. (picture...snowing, a corner gas station/mini-mart, very busy, no room to move and no help whatsoever!!! And I had to park it between 2 cars that they sell (I think this was a used car lot too), very stressful. The good part is, after unloading the 26' u-haul truck at the same location, 2 days later, 2 different boys, were very helpful?! Oh, and by the way, the truck and trailer traveled 1,500 miles in winter through mountain grades towing a 4,500 lb car, was such a great experience, thanks, Burton.

HEINZ WCharity & John did a great job educating me on towing … this was the 1st time I’d done this & we were moving my daughter 1500 miles from Lincoln, Nebraska to Los Angeles, California. Everything went perfect, the trailer was clean, towed perfectly & we arrived and returned the trailer in LA day before planned.

JOSEPH BThey had the truck size we was looking for. Originally we was going to get the truck at the same place as our drop off location but they couldn't guarantee the truck even with 2 weeks prior reservation. So HIS Auto Care stepped up and produced.

DORIS LOnline check-in was at best annoying and, at worst, intrusive and over-complicated. The truck ran poorly and did not have functioning air conditioning. Drop-off was simple, but additional fees were added post-rental driving the price up 33%. Disappointed doesn't seem accurate in this situation.

GREGG SThe location was in a gas station/auto mechanic place with a farmer's market in the parking lot. It is located on a very busy street, so getting in to get the UHaul was a challenge and when returning it, my husband kept trying to turn left into the gas station but the flow of traffic would not stop for him. Finally after close to 10 minutes he physically got out of his truck and went into oncoming traffic to get them to stop. At that point, the worker noticed and came out to help direct traffic so my husband could get back into his truck to turn into the lot. It was a nightmare to say the very least.
Michael LOnly real problem is size of location. Hard to get in and out. Service is outstanding.

JOSEPH RAC quit after driving in town 2 hours. The parking lot at 70th and Van Dorn is ridiculous, as they lease out a large portion to a Farmers Market, the rest is auto repair, gas station, and lastly filled with uhauls waiting to be rented. I parked in a stall, only to be called and asked to return to 70th and Van Dorn and move my car from the East Side (no restriction signs) as they wanted to park another uhaul in that space. I had 6 hours available to move, so I turned around, removed my car and parked across the street, as there was no room on site. Returned the uhaul told them about the AC not working in 90 degree weather, hot from moving, and no credit on the rental or for returning just to move my car.

They said yes and directed me to the place to drop off. When we pulled in a rep was outside directing me where to park the trailer. He was very friendly. We unhooked and drove away. Great drop off experience.
STEVEN HNot pleased at all I did not get to drop off at my performed location this is the second time that this has been switched on me I had to go 8 miles out of my way to drop of the truck and a total of sixteen miles NoT HAPPy at at alll!!!!!, as you guys changed my drop off site again what Is the point of even putting it on as a part of the reservation if you decide to always change drop off site and make me go out of my way at my cost and time. There is a reason people choose there drop off location I am very disapointed on this front ………. I feel this is bad business practice I am hoping you will make this right for me on my next use of your services
David MGet your servers fixed to handle the increased work. I waited for 45 min while the attendant tried to get my rental to go through. U-Haul servers kept crashing. The location was great, employees great, U-Hail computer issues not so much.

ALEXANDER TI have rented from this location several times and have never been disappointed with their customer service and employee quality. They are always prepared to do whatever is necessary to get me on the road quickly and efficiently.
RODNEY LWe dropped off our truck on a holiday, so the store was closed. The drop box was clearly marked, so we parked the truck as best we could and left the keys. The next day when we stopped by to make sure everything was ok, the employee was so kind and had done all of the checkout for us. Great service!
BRYCE NI was unpleasantly surprised by the cleaning fee when I returned the truck and completed the process. I left the truck as I found it so it didn't need to be cleaned. Maybe charge customers if they don't leave the truck as they found it?

MICHAEL SI specifically reserved my rental for pickup before the location opened because of their advertised 24/7 access. My reservation time was changed to when they opened without my approval the night before. I called to confirm that I would still be able to pick the truck up at my original time (before they opened using the 24/7 access) & was told that would still be the case. I arrived to pick up my truck only to realize that since my reservation time was changed I was never given an access code to the lockbox so I couldn't pick up the truck like I was promised until hours later. I was very upset because moving is stressful to begin with & then add having to completely rearrange my plans for the most vital element after I took extra steps on my end to make sure that wouldn't happen.
