I first marked the truck was clean but upon driving it smell of cigarette. I opens the ash tray and there were cigarettes in there. I had try drive with the windows down because the smell was strong and causing me to get a headache!Nathaniel M.
I call the local number (402-476-0544) on the U-Haul confirmation text associated with this location to request a later pick up time. My mistake - I did not get their name but the guy said no problem â€œwe'reâ€ opened till 8:00. I assumed it was a guy at the gas station. When I showed up at 7:45 a guy named Conner at the gas station refused to hook me up because he didn't want to work past quitting time. He was a jerk about it and I responded in kind. When I called the same â€œlocalâ€ number six times it was forwarded to the U-Haul call center which of course was not answering with a live person. Because I had to pick the trailer up the next day, this thru off my move and inconvenienced my friends. I do not believe Conner represented H.I.S or U-Haul well last Friday night. If he worked for me â€“ I'd fire him. How to improve: Staff your call centers better for peaks. Make it clearer that the local number is really not the local number. Coordinate with your â€œpartnersâ€ so they answer their phones and not forward their local number to your call center. Don't let some guy in your call center commit for some guy at the gas station. Train your partners (i.e. Conner) to provide better customer service. I'll never use HIS again for anything. (FYI: Their location looks junky for the nice neighborhood their in)JOHN M.
Great customer service. Busy weekend with people renting uhauls and she made our visit quick and easy. The uhauls were being booked and the site was showing more were available than really were, but she found us one we could take in just a few minutes. Very pleased.Paul J.

The truck I rented constantly had exhaust fumes in the cab and was by far the loudest vehicle I've ever driven. I checked to see if there was a muffler... there was, but I think something else was wrong. Very disappointed. The staff at the location had to put multiple quarts of oil in it before I left the lot... as the oil light was on. The staff was friendly and very timely. This is on top of the fact that I reserved a truck at a different location and NEVER got a notification that my pick up was moved to a further location. This cost me another hour total AND additional milage on the truck.Travis B.

Never had driven a truck before but the road noise was terrible at first I thought there was a motorcycle close to us but then realized it was the truck. Wasn't sure if we would make it ut we didREGENA D.
It was easy once I figured out how to get going. However, the truck was not parked in the spot stated on the check-in, and the parking lot is very small making it difficult to return the truck in the correct manner. It would make it easier if not every slot was full, so there was more room to move around.Michael M.

I don't really "get" the neighborhood rental locations. There isnt a full lineup of vehicles to choose from on hand. Yes, you can search for the vehicle of your needs, but it may not be near where you want to pick it up or return it.thad A.

I called, and they said they couldn't find the truck or the keys. When they told me I could return after hours. Is exactly what I did. They said morning shift would check it in. I never received a call or email. Around the afternoon time. I called and that's when they told me they couldn't find it. Told me they would call me back. I was panicking. But I knew they could check cameras and always see I did return it probably. When they called back they said they found it and everything was fine.Brandy J.
