I was advised at the last minute via text that the location of my original confirmed reservation did not have trailers available for one way rental, even though there were several trailers on premises. Instead, this "new" location, chosen by and for the convenience of U-Haul, required me to drive about 15 miles beyond my original pick-up location to rent the trailer in my confirmed reservation. U-Haul clearly has no respect for the time and convenience of customers needing a one-way rental.STEVE W.

Melissa did a great job troubleshooting because the computer software was not cooperating. She saved the day! One suggestion, test out the software before changing what was not broken. If not for your dedicated employee you would have lost a customer forever.Karen G.

Your company is incredibly irresponsible. Our experience was a nightmare. It took 3 reservations before we actually had a truck that was actually present at all. We had to drive an extra 30 miles to get it. I made the original reservation 6 weeks ahead but it didn't matter to the company as there was no truck and no alternative to pick up within more than 50 miles. Clearly - reservations are meaningless to UHaul. After attempting to speak to a person for 2 hours, the person answered and said â€œI can't help you. I don't work in this area. The people who work in this area aren't answering the phoneâ€. After getting a phone call an hour later, the person PROMISED that the next truck would be there for me. However, unsurprisingly, there was no truck. They offered a 15% discount for my inconvenience. It's about the principal - the company has no regard for peoples time or their actual reservation. I am not sure why they make reservations in the first place, since they are completely irrelevant. Thankfully, we were finally able to get a truck - again 30 miles away from the promised locAtion, so that we could deliver furniture to my daughter.Michelle B.

The ladies that work in this location were very nice and helpful but under pressure due to lack of employees to help when busy. I had an online reservation and still waited for over 1 hour. I could not get the insurance on the trailer due to a glitch in the U Haul system. The employees showed due diligence to help me with this but ended up being at corporate level.DAVID D.

You should add a "somewhat" option to the questions above. The service was great. I picked up the truck and I felt a little rushed. I took video and pictures just in case. She tried to clean the interior of the truck before I picked it up but it was ok. I just think she didn't have much time on her hands. Would prefer to pick up at a uhaul store in the future.DANIELLE N.

After i received my contract Melissa took me out to the tag along u haul she tried to lift the trailer connection on to the ball but was unable to do so because she was quite petite I asked her why there was not a male employed to do this she said it was his day off so she ran through the parking lot trying to find a man who was big enough to lift it on to The ball He asked her where the jack was she said it was locked in another trailer and they couldn't locate the key then all three of us lifted the trailer onto the ball. RIDICULOUS ! How can you expect a petite woman to handle such heavy equipment ?karthyn T.

I was told at check-in that it was my responsibility to lift the trailer off my truck hitch. The weight of the trailer is too heavy for one individual to lift off. One of the individuals at this return site help me lift it off or I never would've been able to of gotten it done. Not a good policy!Ronald C.

I drove 15 miles, I put two gallons of gas in the truck, receipt to prove it. At 7.5 miles per gallon two gallons would be the most I used, but upon the return I was charged for an additional gallon.KURTIS S.
Tire blew out on RT 95 in South Carolina pn rt side of U-Haul. Set me back about 3 0r more hours and put me in the middle of rush hour in Richmond VA..But if you give me a little compensation for the incident all is fine. People were great just not tires!!!!! Thanks, Bruce......BRUCE B.

Our first drop off destination would not take the trailer- they had no room for it. The second drop off was in West Palm beach - too far from our home. I contacted the national U-Haul on Saturday. A U-Haul representative told us to drop off our trailer here in Hobe Sound, where we have dropped off in the past, so we did. No One told us the facility closed at 3 PM on a Saturday and we dropped the trailer off 1 day early since the facility was not open on the holiday weekend. We did as instructed - and the U-Haul REP DID NOT TELL US THAT THE FACILITY CLOSED AT 3 PM- HE SAID TO JUST DROP IT OFF AND WE ARE ALL SET. I FIND THIS NOW - NOT TO BE THE CASE - A SHAMEFUL WAY TO DO BUSINESS!Charles S.

When I rented my truck I was told the gas tank was full. I noticed it looked almost full and thought nothing of it because I was in a hurry. I drove it from Hobe Sound Uhaul on US1Federal Hwy to about 1 mile south of Cove Rd and US1,(About 5 miles) to Pine Lakes Estates and moved an Entertainment Center from one home there to another home there one block to the south. Then I returned the truck to Uhaul about almost two (2) hours later. On the way back I stopped to gas up at RaceTrac Gas station on US1 and Petway((just 1 mile north of Hobe Sound Uhaul rental). It cost me $20.32 to refill the truck. Basically the truck was not full when I got it. I video taped my pumping the gas and took a photo of it. There is no way that tank was full when I got it. I gave all high marks on this honest review because everything else was perfect! I would recommend this Uhaul facility and I would use them again and soon! Just an FYI for future customers to pay attention to this!ERIC D.
