Dear U-Haul, For feedback on the truck rental. Everything was great except for the return experience at the Hollywood Self Storage in Jackson, TN. When I picked up the previous truck rental at the MSP location in Franklin, TN, on August 3rd, I only had one bar of signal on my Verizon phone at that location which would have made uploading the pictures extremely difficult and frustrating. However, the MSP location in Franklin, TN had an open wifi signal if I stood near the building. This was very helpful. So I took a picture by the truck and then walked back and forth to get on the wireless signal at MSP. However, even with this I skipped some pictures during pick up to save time. Fast forward to this most recent truck rental on 8/17 and for the return of the previous rental on 8/3. When I returned the truck in Jackson, I had to take all the pictures to return. The app doesn't allow me to take a picture and upload one at a time. It makes me take all 6 pictures and then upload all 6 at a time. At the Hollywood location I only had two bars of service. You can imagine how slow this was for the picture uploads. In fact, the app timed out and I had to retake all 6 pictures again and upload them for a second time. This was for both rentals on 8/3 and 8/17. Then the app never did tell me it was complete on the upload. I finally just exited the upload pictures part of the app and then the app told me I was complete and to drop the keys off in the lock box. It would be very helpful for other customers if the Hollywood location in Jackson would offer an open wifi network if you stand near the front door or you could text the renter the password for the locked wifi during off hours to make the return process much easier and less frustrating. I literally spent 28 minutes trying to upload pictures using the app because of a weak signal and no available wifi. Thanks,
BRYAN SThe person I dealt with was very kind and understanding. I had to pick up the truck later than scheduled and he called me and moved the time back. He was very nice when I arrived and the truck was clean and ready to go when I arrived.
