This location was very confusing and not welcoming at all. I arrived and there were no signs other than the gas station and that it was the UHAUL location. I walked into the gas station and asked if this was where I handled the Uhaul pick up. They immediatley said "you have to book online", I told them I already did and who I am assuming is the owner or manager kept sitting behind a wall of THC products and scratch offs and could barely be seen, pulled out his cell phone and started looking for my reservation. He then added a $15 charge, told me it was mandatory and that he could not remove it- I told him that I had declined that charge on my reservation and had just used uhaul last weekend at a different location and did not have this same charge- he said that I would have to call corporate- which I did as soon as I left the building and they told me that this was NOT a required charge. The person at Hop In blantantly lied- I did see this on a previous review once I started my research as well. When I walked out to the truck, he did not show me the inside or anything- just kept telling me not to let anything happen to it. When we walked out to the truck, there was a group of homeless men sitting between the Uhauls at an out of order vacuum for the gas station. They were polite, but it was very off putting to be picking up a Uhaul from where there is a camp of people. The Uhaul also smelled of urine.

Carl PUPDATE: We called U-Haul and they quickly resolved the problem. Horrible experience - DO NOT RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. We filled the gas tank to the required level at their on-site gas station. We were charged over $75 the next day for gas. We called the location twice leaving messages to dispute the charge and never received a call back.

Philip PTruck was in rough shape, and the business owner tried to add the expensive insurance that I declined on my online reservation without me knowing. Haul refunded it, but this place was very sketchy. Do not recommend.
