Tonya at this makeshift laundromat/U Haul location was super helpful in making sure we had all the necessary information needed to rent/return the truck. As far as U Haul company policies are concerned, my experience was extremely disappointing. I booked a Van at Riverside location in Evansville in April 2025 for a day but I was told my Van was given to someone else since I showed up 2 hrs late (A rude staff asked me if my people show up 2 hrs late to a doctor's appointment). My rebooking in June 2025 was even worse. U Haul changed my pick up location from Indiana to Kentucky. (It was the closest location we had the truck available. We left you a voice message). The google address for this KY location took me to a field in the middle of nowhere. To make the return experience worse, I was asked to return the truck using an app. They make it sound so simple. "All you have to do is download an app, put in a few pictures of the truck and its mileage and drop the keys in a drop box. By the way, your reservation says $45 insurance fee and if you don't return the truck to the exact location, there will be an extra charge". So, I chose the option that I can't tell where I can drop the truck to avoid extra charges. While I was driving a loaded truck, I started getting messages where to drop the truck (7 miles farther than my closest location). The return location was in the middle of nowhere with poor cell phone service). I I rented a truck 20 yrs ago when I moved from Texas to Indiana. I hardly remember it took this much instruction. May be its an industry wide trend but in the name of convenience, U Haul has made a simple pickup/drop off as complicated as they possibly can.

Drop location was a large parking lot. Had no contact with persons at this location but was clearly marked and easy to park.
