Cathy McNally was very helpful and friendly and on point. If there's any room for improvement it's with the UHAUL APP and cleaning it up a little and making it a little simpler and faster for extra small move jobs. Otherwise I'd recommend and use this location/business again. Very, very satisfied for a first time user! Thanks

I recently rented from another location. This building was superior to theirs, clean as a whistle!!! I joked that the young man could come clean my house, it was spotless! Also, your price per mile is much more reasonable than their rate was. Thank you for a great experience.

The horn didn't work and the person at the counter was rude and seemed confused and untrained. We rented the truck for two days and said it needed to be returned the next day.

The van I originally rented from Gills wasn't available, and the rep at that location suggested we try the one two blocks away because they'd have the van. We went there and they didn't have one either. Both locations only had one truck on site, and luckily I was able to get one. The system sent me a text saying I'd be getting a call but I missed the call (was busy moving in with my movers) and no voicemail or text or email was received to tell me my van wasn't available, so if you miss the call you have no clue what happened until you go to pick it up and find out last minute. There should be a better system.

Hours ppsted said location opened at 9am waited until 9:30am and finally just left the trailer. If you're supposed to be open at 9am..then be there at 9am,,

Young man working at counter did not wear a mask and even walked out to the truck with my husband without a mask. Please remind employees that wearing a face mask in public is required especially in service positions that deal with the public.

I wish I could call her out by name but the girl working the weekend I rented my trailer was amazing. She was so helpful. Helped me change my rental and everything when the forecast turned to rain. She never seemed annoyed with my questions and changes. She was so friendly and helpful. My brother even went to pick up the trailer and said how helpful and friendly she was. They plan to start storing their trailer there! She is a huge asset to your company. Job well done!!

I did not appreciate having to drive 40 minutes to pick up this trailer, especially as the U-haul store was 2 miles from my current address, which had 4 at the time. It's inconvenient and quite frankly, unacceptable, to have someone who reserved a trailer weeks before have to drive so far for something that is so close.

It is EXTREMELY frustrating have to run around to different facilities to pick up the equipment you rented AND to find out the equipment you wanted is not at the preferred location and having to drive further to get and have those miles used against you. It has happened EVERY time I rent. The difference in rates based on pick up state too is awful!!!

The representative that assisted us was very rude. Thankfully there was a U-Haul Rep on the phone who spoke up for us when she tried to double charge us because that's the way she “runs her business” and didn't want to honor the $19.95 base rate. She shamed us for not purchasing the insurance and kept saying that if anything happened after hours, it was our responsibility even if it was on her property. That make me very uncomfortable. Very thankful for the gentleman on the phone named Brandon. Never going to this location again, and going to tell others not to as well.

My experience with this location was quite good. Kudos to Cathy. My overall UHaul experience was poor. It turns out that renting one way is essentially on a best efforts basis. I rented a 20' truck and was told at 3 pm the day before my 9 am reservation time that the pick-up location for the truck would be 60 miles away. When I called the Mendota, IL location to confirm the truck's availability as is required, I was told that she could not confirm because the truck was not there and the current user had until 3 pm (6 hours after my scheduled pick-up) to return it. To ensure certainty, I switched to an in town rental. A 20' truck was not available. The 15' that I got did not accommodate all of our stuff. Plus it required that we make a trip to return the truck that we had not expected to make. This is an unacceptable way to run a company. I would like to know how UHaul plans to make sure my experience does not happen to someone else. My number is 3127201631.

The ride itself was smooth, however the driver side door was very loud while driving down the road.Not sure if the window was off or just the way hits the truck, but it was very distracting even though it was short distant drive.

First time I have rented a uhaul truck. It was a 15 foot truck. The engine ran rough, often straining when trying to get up to speed. Old time dash board, where you could barely read the cheap dim odometer, and no USB ports. But this is the worst part, I felt the truck was extreme dangerous to drive. Something was off with the brake and accelerator, where often when you pressed the brake, you often ended up depressing the accelerator as well. Because of this, I twice nearly rear ended the car in front of me when stopping . When I mentioned this to the office uhaul person, he mentioned that he had notice that as well. Also seemed to get horrendous gas mileage. The key indicator to me that this is a problem with uhaul trucks in general is that they include an analog gas mileage meter in the truck. I only rented from uhaul Because Penske had no trucks. I won't ever rent from uhaul again. I highly recommend to everyone to Avoid Uhaul.

I paid the 14.95 for extra coverage just in case there's any damage done to the vehicle I was thinking that a covers lockout also so I made a mistake and locked my keys inside the vehicle and I had to pay $95 for someone to come out and unlock the door I was told by customer service is that they should have offered me a five dollar fee extra for lack of coverage which was never mentioned to me and they refuse to reimburse me my money and did not notify me that that extra fee that I pay was not covering the lockout fee I am very dissatisfied

Brand new tow dolly! The lady installing it however seemed a little new to the process indicated it was due to the newness of the dolly - however my friend had to point out to her to cross the lines under the tow bar so they would cradle if dislodged.... follow? She seemed annoyed by the comment but did as he indicated. Other than that EXCELLENT!

I prepaid for my rental on line and declined all additional insurance coverage. They printed my agreement and said sign here to show you are picking up the trailer which I did. It wasn't until I went to return the trailer did I notice they added insurance back on to the agreement with out my consent and changed the drop off location to twice as far away from my original reservation. Not Happy
