The actual UHAUL employee was not there and evidently had not been for 4 days. The computer guy that shares the office space had been renting and checking in rentals.He was very nice.

Girl was clueless as to what to do. Owner wasn't there. She did make an attempt to check the truck in but we ended up doing the email app ourselves (which is what we started in the first place but she said she'd handle it....). We were there for a long time before we gave up on her. Waste of time. She was nice, tho. Just needs training I think.

Uhaul.com and who ever rescheduled me really dropped the ball. I signed up for the 24/7 truck share and it was confirmed by the person who called to reschedule me that the 26' truck I wanted was available and I could pick it up at 8 am using the truck share feature. After arriving at 745 I logged in and the site said I had to wait till 9. I called costumer service, after a 15 min wait the lady who answered transferred me. That line rang four times and then hung up. So I called again, 15 min later the rep answered and informed me that the 26' trucks were unavailable for truck share. So had originally uhaul confirmed the truck I wanted would be at the place a mile from my house, so I could walk and get it. The day prior I was rescheduled to 7 miles away and when I get there at 745 for an 8 o'clock, I can't get my truck until 9. By the way moving help was there at my house at 9. I'm very frustrated with the scheduling of my truck. The bright note, was the lady who worked at IFIXNC arrived to work 35 mins early and graciously helped me by opening early and setting me up with the truck before the store opened. I really appreciated her. I know an hour isn't that big of a deal, but having timelines and paying movers $100 an hour makes it a big deal.

I asked to rent from High Point to Morehead City, then was told to return the trailer to a location in Havelock, adding 30 minutes to the time to drop off as I drove past at least 3 other open U-Haul locaations

They was not there the tow dolly I rented had issues with bars bent but seemed to tow ok. I was switched back uhaul three times and will not willing rent from this poorly run and operated national agency again.

Way to much information is required to rent a trailer for 12hrs. a copy of my drivers license and credit card number is more than enough information to be held responsible for rental.

Attitude when we pulled up, I’m assuming because she was about to go on break and she couldn’t because we came up to drop off the Uhaul . Had a attitude when told us to sweep the back and bring the dolly inside, and I wasn’t going to drag it in when the other Uhaul rep put it in for me. Had a attitude when she had to drag it in but we brought it to the door. Poor customer service and not welcoming or sociable at all

Have the fuel tanks full as in rental cars I lost over half of the fuel that I put in cause when I got the truck it had 5/8 a tank and when I turned it in it had almost 3/4 in the tank

This is where I was told to take it to, but they were closed. It was almost 30 miles there and that back. I came back and found a place that was only two miles from me, so I drove 60 miles for nothing. The lady at the place I returned the trailer to, said I could have just dropped it off. I wanted a receipt for dropping it off, so the first place did me no good anyways. I was NOT happy with Uhaul. I should have known better because this is the second time this has happened to me. The lady where I dropped the trailer at was very nice. I would deal with her any time.

At this third party location the only employee that was there was rude, rolled her eyes at me, told me she has back problems and slammed her pencil down when I asked her (the employee) to please just disconnect the trailer and take the 4x8 trailer hitch back to the lot she has set up for her U-Haul rentals. But she demanded I back it up into the spot, which is a task in itself to back a trailer up and not to mention stressful. This employee of this establishment also told me that she turns away customers and won’t let me drop off their equipment if they can’t back up the trailer into her designated spot. Rude and will never recommend that third party location. Unbelievable!

I rented a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer, this size trailer should have a tongue jack, I'm a 6'1" man, fairly muscular, it was all the lady at the U-Haul rental agency and I could do to lift the tongue to hook it up. The tow vehicle is a Lincoln Navigator with a standard height trailer hitch ball. Lifting the trailer tongue aggravated an old back injury.

I wouldn’t recommend it only because there was only one person working. It turned what should’ve been a 15 minute experience into an hour and a half experience. The woman working was extremely friendly but slow.

I had to drop it off in a muddy lot and had to manhandle the trailer to disconnect it with help from the attendant. There should had been a dolly to disconnect it from my truck.

They were suppose to be open but were closed. No notice or anything stating to the public that they had closed early for whatever reasons. No dropbox for returned truck keys. Parking lot was not plowed or de-iced for customers coming in to rent vehicles. No answering machine or further aid for customers that came during their "working" hours.

I arrived on time even early to pick up my rental truck bc I had movers arriving and was on a set time frame. When I arrived computer issues took around 10 minutes to sort out before my reservation could be found, once it was and all paperwork was found the clerk couldn't find the keys to the truck anywhere. She searched for 30 minutes before they were found inside the truck. She called her boss several times but he didn't know where they were either. I was late arriving back to meet the movers and felt the whole transaction was very unorganized. I suggested to her early in the game checking the truck for the keys and she said keys were not to be kept inside the trucks. Finally after a half hour of looking she finally checked the truck and found them. Overall not a very good rental experience.

26 foot truck needed oil twice which wasn't really a problem, but the first day into the trip the oil psi guage failed and we called uhaul to have it checked out ( that service was excellent). Then into our second day the power steering/automatic transmission fluid ran out and had to fill that up twice before reaching our destination. Also the change oil filter maintenance light came on in the middle of Texas halfway through the trip. I would have figured that the truck would have been fully serviced knowing that it was traveling cross country.

Look. I was originally booked to pick up a trailer at a location in Newport, NC at 2pm on Monday. That was changed to a neighboring city at a different time-- 12noon. Then my drop off location was changed and it was a gigantic pain in the ass to get that drop off location changed to the original location convenient to me.

First time I rented a U-Haul truck and loved how easy the whole process was. The clerk was very friendly and the truck was in excellent conditions. Was very impressed with how easy the self-drop off procedures are. In less than 5 minutes I had my rental and was checked in.

The lady at the drop off site was very professional and extremely helpful, she agreed that the gentleman that started our contract did it incorrectly and she even verified it by running the miles to show that it had been done wrong. Again she was very good at her job and very nice and helpful and I would recommend her site for any rental.

When we walked in to explain why we were bringing the trailer back, Ashley said that they didn't have room for it and to make sure we have the right location due to them not wanting our trailer. We got an attitude the whole time from her and just walked in after we backed the trailer up in an open spot. I had to go in and make sure everything was okay for us to leave. Horrible customer service, attitude, and knowledge about the equipment since we walked through the door.
