Truck had several maintenance issues: driver door was damaged and looked like someone had tried to break into vehicle. Because of the door there was a great deal of outside noise and rain leaked into the vehicle. There was also rain that leaked into the storage area and much of my furniture and rugs were wet when I arrived at my destination.

The price was a shock. I secured my reservation online but was not aware that milage was 1.29 per mile. I thought I was spends only 40 plus gas for the 19.99 truck but ended up spending 174.00 and I only had the truck 4 hours. I was not happy with that. The customer service was great 👍 and she was really nice.

Be prepared for a change in location to pick up your rental, especially if a long distance one-way rental. U-Haul transferred all my information to the new pick up location with no issues.

The rep in Williamsburg <VA give my truck away, while I was standinf there waiting to check in. hew as rude to me and lied when I told him he was there the day before when I reserved the truck. We got into a shouting match in the store. His collegue trying to encourange him to stop, be he kept on antagonizing me. It was terrible. The drop off location in Rodk Hill, SC was very plesant . The manager call me and provide specific instrutions on how to return the equipment outside of nornal business hours, He was was courteous and professional.

It was difficult to find the location. After doing so, the staff member was very helpful checking out the vehicle. The vehicle was clean however had a good amount of mileage on it. Left side mirror was loose and kept shifting. Had to stop periodically to adjust it. Otherwise it was an uneventful, safe trip. Drop off was easy.

The night before picking up truck I logged into the U-HAUL APP to confirm my reservation. The APP content showed the reservation. Yet, when I arrived to pick up the truck and logged in the APP the truck reservation was gone. Luckily the on site manager happened to be there to help.

I made the reservation at the Ace Hardware in Williamsburg. I was very specific with the times for pick up and they said it would not be a problem….they were incorrect. I requested for a pickup time of 9am on Sunday, the pickup location opens at noon… if I had known of time difference, I would have changed my schedule. The pickup location opens up location was great and extremely helpful.

I called the office to let them know it was taking longer than expected, and the lady who answered the reacted as if I had just killed her puppy. She said I was a terrible person to make the next customer wait, she went on for a whole telling me how rude and offensive I am because I was going to be late. I listened to her in disbelief, not know what to say. When she was done yelling at me she hung up. I paid for the extra day, and made sure everything was is perfect order upon returning, so I did not incur her wrath a second time.
