There were some computer issues and I was not able to get a copy of the contract before I left. Waited 30 minutes for the clerk to work through it but thankfully she had me take the truck as I was behind schedule.

Lisa MFirst off - this is NOT the location I dropped off at. I dropped off at S&A Auto Repair And Towing 468 Lowell St Peabody, MA 01960 as instructed in my contract. This information is for that location, not Ironbound Mini Storage since I've never been there and did not use that location. When I dropped off the vehicle, I asked the onsite crew if there was anything specific I needed to do to close out the rental and they stated they had no idea and didn't know how anything with rentals work? Odd since they are an approved drop-off site. U-Haul also never sent any instructions for what to do (unlike when you check out the vehicle at the start and you get a link to upload photos, etc). Then I get a call from U-Haul stating I dropped off the vehicle in the wrong state (which I did not), 2 days late (which I did not), and added 700+ miles to the contracted amount (which I did not). Good thing I took my own photos with time, date, and geo stamps at time of drop off showing the location, odometer, etc to dispute this. Absolutely horrible experience and apparently U-Haul and it's approved vendors have no communication, no system, and no processes to ensure this doesn't happen. Customers should ALWAYS protect themselves b/c U-Haul doesn't.
Barton AMoving blankets had dried up leaves stuck to them, somehow did not get cleaned properly from previous use. Other than that, everything was great.
