The drive was not smooth and there were several warning lights on after I drove 2 miles after picking up the truck. I called the people who gave it to me and they mentioned me to ignore saying it might be a sensor problem.

I was charged a fuel fee even though the fuel was left at the level that I picked it up.
Nelson CI ordered a van on the website. I only needed a van but they made me get a box truck because my drivers license didn't have an Irving address. They said because the vans get stolen. I had an very difficult time getting in the back...due to my back. None of her claim makes sense AT ALL.

TERESA HWhen I picked up the truck, the gas tank was not full. The attendant marked the line on the paperwork where the fuel level for the truck was, which seemed correct when I got into the truck. The fuel gauge on the truck is not accurate. When I returned the truck I had drive a total of 15 miles. I did not stop to refuel because the fuel gauge needle looked the same as before. Regardless, the U-haul attendant charged me $23 for fuel. They said the gauge needle was lower. I only dove 15 miles and you charged as though I had driven 5x the distance. What a ripoff. Last time I rent from U-haul.

I had been given a discount when reserving the truck, which she couldn't find or figure out and neither could her manager on duty. It was finally only on my insistence on calling a U-Haul booking agent on the phone that I was able to get the discount I was promised. Other that that everything was fantastic.

NIKHIL AThe truck, while mechanically sound, was literally falling apart. Neither visor was able to be locked in place in the center. The driver’s seat upholstery was coming apart to such an extent that it prevented the door from being closed without being slammed. Adjusting the seat forward and backward required getting out of the truck to access the lever since the seat cushion essentially swallowed it up. The passenger side mirror shook and rattled creating a great deal of noise. I typically rent a truck at least once a year — this one was the jankiest I’ve ever seen.

ISRAEL MEverything went very well, equipment was really what I really needed. I only have a comment: At the time I went to drop off the trailer, it got stuck, so I called the store because, no one was there to make sure everything was ok with the equipment, the lady that picked up started arguing with me instead of offering me solutions, she was very disrespectful, the things that she told me made no sense at all. A little training will help to prevent this kind of events.

ERICH TMade reservation the previous day over the phone and was quoted for a one-way rental. Got to the pick up location and store was unable to locate my reservation. They manually input everything again and said the vehicle was overweight, they tried again and said I'd have to drop off at another location. Tried another time but couldnt get the discount I was quoted on the phone. This went on and on for an hour and 15 minutes and I was the only customer in the store. Everything turned out OK eventually but took extremely too long. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, just not very savvy on the computer.

Bill payment was easy by using the online payment feature. I highly recommend this location for storage needs. The only reason I did not give the location an excellent rating was due to the homeless people hanging around the area. However, that is not the fault of the facility. That is to be blamed on the City of Irving's lack of proper enforcement of state law (i.e. trespassing).

I will never use this facility again and I will not recommend it to anyone. Every customer should be treated with respect and the office definately did not accomplish that.

I opened the unit up later that the original billing date and you kept moving it so over time you took not only my money but my time in the space. I have told everyone I know not to use your storage. They ate better off elsewhere. If I wasn't 50 yrs old and unable to lift all in the items in storage myself I would have left many many months ago the first time you Changed Rates and my due date.

The two workers there told me that I didn’t meet the requirements which were that my car had to be up to date to rent a parking spot, yet once I was in there all the cars parked had expired license plates. Overall really dissatisfied with how bad the service was.

Rosalyn T | Overall ExperienceOverall, this place is great. The units are secure, climate-controlled, and well-lit. As a woman, I felt safe visiting on my own when necessary. There is an elevator and dollies you can use when needed. My move-out was very smooth. My only complaint was upon move-in on a Sunday morning, the opening time for the office was incredibly unclear. I had previously visited the office and a staff member *told* me the office would open at 8:30 am on Sunday (this agreed with or was later than times I found on Google and the Irving Storage site). However, I waited until 9:20 for an employee to arrive. There were three of us waiting by the time she got there; when we asked what time they were supposed to open, she responded that they opened at 9:00 (which disagrees with all posted openings) and did not apologize for rolling in later than that at 9:20. I just barely made it back to my apartment by 10:00 when my movers were arriving. I would still recommend this place, but don't plan to obtain a unit at opening time. Visit later during the day if you need to access the main office. I hope that management will take it upon themselves soon to make sure that their website, Google, posted signs in the window, and their staff all agree about opening times as these can actually affect moves.

anissa v | Overall ExperienceBad experience. While moving in, I was doing it myself and could not keep my eyes on everything all at once. I knew I was missing a cart with about four boxes and a headboard on it. I was exhausted sweaty tired and I had two hour drive home so I didn't give it another thought. 2 months later I go to move out and I have no headboard then I started thinking oh my gosh what else am I missing. Family heirlooms in one box which is heartbreaking everything from high-end shoes to kitchen items basically about over $1,000 worth of merchandise. I don't know if I was offered insurance or not but that's not the point. When it hit me that I was missing a lot of things upon unpacking at home I called the storage and the same woman who checked me in 2 months prior was so aggressive and defensive I couldn't get a word in edgewise and all she kept repeating was I offered you insurance and you didn't take it I remember you said that lol. Oh really you remember me saying that out of all your customers two and a half months ago? Moving on that's not even the point, the point is why was she so aggressive? All I was calling about to see is if they had video footage from that long ago. My things were stolen the day I moved in not once I moved in. She wouldn't talk about it she wouldn't help or listen. I ended up calling the owner still have not heard back. I'll never get my things back I'll never get my mother's things back that will mean nothing to anybody but me. I have no proof but my instinct is that there is some kind of racket going on there that when your back is turned your things are going to disappear. I've dealt with thieves before and the young woman who I dealt with that work there fit the description of one. Zero concern, very aggressive and so guilty. To make matters worse I scraped up the side of my Prius on there the back side of their building where they had rebars sticking out. It literally gouged my car. Perfect. Also there were several men standing out in the back loading propane tanks into one of the storages very sketchy. Okay that's about it. The place was clean on the inside but the outside was really sketchy and not really completely safe. One day I went there and the gate was broken wide open with nobody manning it. We're in a deep freeze right now in north Texas but next week I plan on going to the police department in filing a report. Nothing will come of it I'm sure but it needs to be on record. And just to know it says to please contact the storage facility to try to work something out before leaving this kind of feedback and I did with two phone calls and five texts to the owner still nothing.

The night of my lease, my truck was broke into in gate secure parking and my tools and 2 dollies were stolen. They did NOTHING. 2 months later a truck broke the mirror off mine. I made a police report. Storage did NOTHING. They further intruded on my time to relocate my truck 2 times then were Rude. Someone tied up part of my parking space and when I reported it, the manager was rude to me. 6 month BAD EXPERIENCE. My rent always paid ahead of due date
