The truck was due at 4 pm. We arrived 10 mins before 4. The office hours posted for Saturday was until 5pm. There was no one there. The office was closed. We used the drop box.Evangeline C.

If you don't have the reserved equipment available, you really should upgrade for the same price as the reservation. I was also charged for gas, and I brought the truck back with MORE gas in it than it had at pickup. I had to make a trip to another location to get the dolly I reserved. The young man who was working there was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! He was on the phone with a couple who had an issue regarding their rental, and he was courteous, professional and respectful at all times. I'm not sure I could have maintained my composure if it were me. He deserves a big compliment from me, and you need to commend him for his work.CAROLE M.
The ladies in the office don't answer the phone to open the outside door, even though they have cameras where they can see you. I was overcharged twice for a 20 mile trip on 8/27, returning the truck the same day. The first charge was $171.09 on 8/30, the second charge was $104.40.on 8/31. My odometer read 60,212 when I picked the truck up, and read 60,232 when I brought it back. The office lady entered in the computer the incorrect number of miles on the odometer, she entered 60,156 miles, which explains why I was charged the $171.09. She also made a second mistake when she charged me $104.40 on 8/31. I am still waiting for the supervisor to correct the errors made and refund me the overcharges. My personal opinion is to stop using that storage facility for an U-Haul office, because those two ladies are doing a disservice to the U-Haul name. Those ladies close the store an hour earlier and they bring a baby which is a distraction, and not conducive to providing a professional and responsible service.JOSE M.

I reserved a 5 x 10 storage, a 10 ft truck and a dolly. I get to the location, there was no storage available and the location did not carry dollies which meant I had to find a storage and dolly. I had to get a last minute storage which was 3x the amount of the storage I reserved. There was no bathroom at the facility. Poor customer service. I am done with uhaul and I storage.TAQUILA M.

I ended up here because my initial reservation was not honored at the original pick up location of Auburn Al. I put a reservation 2 weeks in advance and got a call the day before that they only had a truck for me 50 miles away. I went here to this Uhaul place to see what I needed to do. The check engine light was on in the truck. Was told Uhaul said they fixed it, person knew it wasn't fixed and said there was nothing we could do. Truck was very load and rough driving. Was also charged two days for an appliance dolly that I didn't receive. Was told the trucks are not locked and people come and steal the dollies and other equipment from the trucks. Said it was Uhauls responsibility not the rental facility to lock them up and keep track of the equipment. I was told I can pick up the dolly at another location if they had one, which is not very convenient. Not a great rental experience.MATTHEW C.

The key to my truck was NOT in the lockbox! IStorage Chantilly does not open until 10am. A very nice U-haul Field Manager came and made a new key so I could get the truck. Upon returning the truck, the lady at IStorage Chantilly took no responsibility for not putting the key in the lockbox and was quite frankly rude. U-haul should not continue to use this facility.Todd L.

Previous renter left her belongings that I had to dispose of which I still have not been contacted for a resolution. Also, I rented an appliance dolly that the location does not carry. Just inconvenienced all the way around. Spent the first two hours of my rental trying to find someplace to dispose of a 26ft truck full of boxes left that could've been COVID exposed. Overall I rate the rental process at this location a 9+. The truck was clean and well maintained. I checked in using the 24/7 self checkin process. The only issue I had was once I was cleared to retrieve the key, it took a while to get the lockbox open using the code that was provided. I lost about 25 minutes trying to complete the process.JOSEPH C.

The key provided in the lock box was not for the truck I was assigned. I wasted 45 minutes trying to find the correct truck and then making phone calls to U-Haul to confirm which vehicle to take. After multiple "on-hold" minutes I finally matched the key to the vehicle it fit and drove off. No matter which U-Haul phone number you call there is always a lengthy wait time. Time is import when moving and waiting on hold is the last thing I want to do.Martin N.
My experience dropping off at each of these locations was good. However, my experience with the Uhaul corporation was poor. I was traveling from Michigan to Alabama and decided to rent a 15 foot truck. Not only because that more than plenty of space for my belongings, but also because that is the largest truck that I felt comfortable driving across the country. The day before my move, Uhaul emailed me saying I was being upgraded to a 20 foot truck. And I also noticed the bill summary reflected this upgrade. (One that I did not ask for) Of course this caused even more anxiety on top of the stress of moving cross country. I called while en route to Michigan and whomever I spoke with said she was getting the issue resolved. When I got my new confirmation-it said the same exact thing- a 20 foot truck was waiting for me. Finally the morning I was to pick up the truck a kind representative did get the truck situation sorted out.Deborah B.

Great experience. The U-Haul App has some issues. I misread the question about vehicle ready for next user and accidentally hit the wrong button and the App refused my correction and forced me to take a whole bunch of extra pictures to prove the truck was available for next renterSteven G.
We need help!!! I have been using Uhaul for over 15 years and this was the worst experience of my life. We wanted to rent a 26' truck to move from Alabama to Georgia. I told the associate that we needed to return the truck in Georgia. Upon returning the truck in GA, i was slapped with a $420 extra charge because they said the associate didn't put in GA as a drop off location. (Why would i want to return a truck back to Alabama where i no longer live. I specifically told her that the trip is ~200 miles long. Why would anyone with common sense do this?) The drop off location told me i need to work with the Pick up location to sort this out because they cannot do anything. Fine. I called the associate at the pick up location and ask them to help me. The associate turned defensive and said i never told her that I wanted to return the truck in GA. (again, why would i want to drive 200 miles moving out of town and had to go back and return the truck where i no longer live?). On that day, the associate asked us to use our phone to book the truck because her computer wouldn't let her. Once we book it, she use her computer to print out paper work for us. We told her MANY times that we were moving out of state. I really need help to correct this issue and i hope someone could help me. We don't want to put blame on anyone or pointing fingers, we just need help to correct this. $420 is not easy money for us in this difficult time. Thanks a lot for your help!!!Thanh N.

I have rented here about five times because I have a unit there. The manager Michelle is rude . Never calls back. I used a truck today, a 17 foot, it was 89.00 after 20. In gas. There is no way I used 20. In gas because I drove maybe 15 miles. She basically said oh well it is what it is. Will not EVER rent from her again.Angela K.

There was no one at the drop off location at 3:00 with a sign saying out for lunch. I then received a $15 cleaning fee when in fact I did return the truck clean. It had been raining all day during the unload so there may have been some wet footprints in the back, but I believe that to be understandable.William M.
