Mary WI booked a reservation 3 weeks ahead. At the very last minute, both the pick up location AND time changed, causing enormous inconvenience. On top of that, the moving blankets I paid for were not available. We had to go to another location, and they didn’t have any blankets either. I’m still waiting for my refund for those. The gas tank was completely empty upon pickup, and the truck was so dirty it required us to bring all purpose cleaner inside it. The entire experience added so much stress to an already stressful day, all of which was preventable.
Cara SOur preferred location was Carol Stream. We were then told the truck was in Elgin, then in Chicago. Depending on traffic Chicago can be an hour away. Personnel at the location were not available when we arrived. The truck was covered in trash.

RAY JWhen I arrived the 20' truck we reserved was missing a Cadillac converter and noone called and said anything to me. Then I went to another location truck had no gas windshield was cracked, truck sounded horrible. VERY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Zakee CI waited about 30 min. To get my truck,but once everything done, I was fine.
Frank WSent 45 min out of my way at last minute to store that did not open until 9:30am when I needed to meet loaders at 10. Then sent back to second store in Chi-Raq. Never again. Done with U-Haul.
