Laura ENothing other than I think the oil or transmission fluid needs to be checked out. The truck was running a little hard and considering it's a 2014 truck I was using maybe he needs a newer 26ft truck. But other than that it was great.

Edward DI had a problem with a dry-rotted sidewall on a trailer tire, however, the merchant provided an appropriate refund as a demonstration of customer service. I was please with their approach and resolution of the situation.
Gary MWe only filled the gas tank up the level it was when we picked it up (only half full) but were then charged for filling it up the rest of the way. I explained to the gentleman at the rerun site that it was only half full and he said no problem. Frustrating that we were charged.

My husband left his phone in the truck and realized late that night after hours and Mr Jackson notified us to take our time to go back that night and retrieve it. He was so nice to help us since we were out of state. I wish more employees would go the extra mile that Mr Jackson did.

elliot mThis was not my original location, I rented from Kilmarnock VA location and the password did not open the lock. Only option was to drive 30 miles to Jackson and for some reason I had to return it to Jackson. Terrible experience with UHaul, I will select another option for my next rental

tonya SThis truck should not have been something used to do a cross country move. The left front wheel bearing made lots of noise and assuredly it affected the fuel economy. Furthermore, I had to stop for roadside assistance since the trailer lights didn't work. Additionally, the steering wheel had to be held at the 10 o'clock position to drive straight. For as much money was paid to rent this truck it should have been in better condition.
Ron BThe gentleman who runs the location hides in his trailer and yells instructions out to you while hiding behind.a mask and several physical barriers that prevent you from getting any closer than 30 yards to him. It’s bizarre, dirty, and very off putting.

Jacquelyn JAlso here, the location was further than the next one available and a discount had been appreciated. In general the pricing basis of simply “supply and demand” is not very customer friendly and not transparent either. Also Uhaul claims to be veteran friendly but discounts are only give if it benefits Uhaul if certain trailer are needed where we as a umstimmet are going. That was quite disappointing.

MICHAELDAVID TIssue is not the location itself, but we had rented a 10 ft truck at the Richmond VA location, to find out the day of pickup that no truck was available, and they reserved a 10 ft truck at the Saluda VA location. We drove 1 hour to Saluda to find out that they did not have a 10 ft truck available. After being 2 hours on the phone with u-haul to find a 10 ft truck, we decided to take the 20 ft truck. The person at the Saluda office was very helpful. We consumed much more gas (Driving 430 miles , plus driving an extra 50 miles to drive from Richmond to Saluda and back). Experience on the phone was horrible. Many times they switches me to someone else, and needed to wait again 10-20 minutes to talk to someone.Overall, I lost 5 hours because U-haul did not have the truck available that I reserved months before. Very negative experience. Office in Richmond was not very helpful,a s they transferred my order to another district, and this cause even more issues to get help
luc sThis was a long drive to pick up the uhaul. The drive was over an hour. The person in charge of handing out the uhal signed my name on a form. The form was to acknowledged damage to the uhaul that might result in water damage. I would have liked to been made aware of this and I woulda signed it on my own. The online damage report that you do before geting on the road did not even have a picture of the right truck. It had pictures of a 10ft truck I was renting a 20 ft truck.
