Representative’s Behavior was good at the time of Pick up at J&M self storage-Oak tree road. He was very quick and Friendly. Truck was clean and well maintained. Rate was Fair. Overall 10/10.

Matthew LThe Jersey City location needs to properly review the contract and make any changes while the customer is on-site to avoid additional inconveniences. I was charged for a dolly that I did not need. Nor was the dolly packed on the truck. when I noticed the extra charge, the staff member handling my transaction said she would take it off. I again called nearly 3 hours later to confirm if it was done. I was told it was too late to change the contract and she will note the account so the person checking in the returned vehicle would not to charge. The following day, I received another invoice in the amount of $139 billing me for a missing dolly and extra mileage. The lady who checked me out in Jersey City had said there will be no additional mileage charges as it is included in the vehicle being rented. I'm now out $12 for dolly rental I never took. $120 for the "missing" dolly I never received. $11 for extra mileage. and additional rental fees and taxes of nearly $8. For a total of $151 in additional charges. I'm being told the area manager will contact me to correct. Did not receive any follow-up calls yesterday. My credit card has been charged. I will wait 3 days from the date of this review for a resolution before disputing the charges with my credit card company.

VINICIO OI went there a week before to reserve a cargo van. The woman behind the desk took the info that I needed this van 9/22/24. She never reserved it for 9/22. She reserved it for the Sunday before 9/15. My daughter was coming in from out-of-state to help me clean out my storage at J&M. Luckily there was one cargo van on the lot. This was a big mistake. There would have been a big problem if there was not another one available. To rate this I give it a zero.

Process was OK but I had to do drop off through application two times, third time i was able to complete the steps. Not sure why both time, U-Haul application exited and i had to perform all steps again

Samer AService at this location was excellent. The check in process was seamless. The truck was cleaned and well maintained and newer than expected. The return process was also super easy. Didn't have any issues with the app. I'd recommend this location to anyone.

Sarah SWindshield wipers were bad. Truck needed alignment. Kept pulling to the left. Back of the storage truck was wet. Looked like they sprayed it down and didn’t dry it. I had to wipe it down before I could put my furniture in it. Was disappointed that there was under 1/2 tank of gas in it. I had to fill it up before I started my 11hour drive.
