The owner of this location was extremely nasty and disinterested in assisting me. He was verbally abusive and I would never use this location again nor recommend it to anyone. Terribly disappointed in his attitude and attentiveness to assist a customer of U-Haul. Horrible!!Norman D.

I did this rental all on my phone. The only thing that I wasn't sure of, was what to do with the key when I returned the van. I must have missed that instruction on the phone when I returned the van. Otherwise it was a very smooth and easy transaction.Charles B.
Let me just say the entire process that U-Haul has implemented is one of the worst experiences I have had in my life. I had asked to have a pick up with an agent (an option that was given to me when I booked the reservation). When I got to the location at 7am on June 28th, no agent was available and then I was informed that I had to do everything online (An option I did not want). When I tried to complete the process online, it didn't work. It was only after about 45 minutes of trying that someone at the location informed me that the U-Haul system was down and that a U-Haul agent would have to call me to do complete access to the vehicle over the phone. I again had to spend 10 minutes going over with an agent on the phone all the items I had requested to be ready at 7am on June 28th that I had made online. It took over an hour to get the vehicle. Then when I wanted to return the vehicle, I was again told the return would have to be done online or thru the U-Haul app. I tried to do it through the app and online but again it would not let me since it could not find my location. I tried to do the return on two different phones but I again got the same error message. I even did the solutions that I was prompted to do but to no avail. I asked someone at the location if could do the drop-off with them but they were adamant it had to be done through the phone. I called customer service and after 45 minutes on hold, they got on the line and tried to get me to do it online, but again to no avail. The U-Haul agent then asked to speak to the person at the location to ask them to take the return of the vehicle manually. The person at the location got into an argument with the U-Haul agent stating "why can't a U-Haul customer service representative take a customers return?". The reply from the U-Haul agent on the phone was "we can't do it over the phone". In disgust the person at the location said to hang up the call with the U-Haul agent and the he would do the return the next day since he was about to leave for the evening. The process of returning the vehicle took over 75 minutes. From this point forward, I will tell anyone and everyone how bad, awful and terrible your service is. If you want to have things done online, you better make damn well sure that your online and app systems works 100% of the time, not sometimes or whenever it feels like it. I was extremely disappointed and angry with the entire situation!!!!Jose P.
I have nothing to say negative about J & N the only thing I would say is it's very misleading the cost of $19.95 when it actually cost us almost $200. 1.99 per mile is highway robbery especially since we fill the truck back up any gas we used. We actually put in more then required. And if we hadn't it would have cost us $4.50 a gallon in a state where the gas is $2.95 a gallon that's an additional 1.45 a gallon. Gas should be based on state not the national average. Other then that the truck was very nice.John R.

The guy wouldn't touch the return process and told me I had to do it myself online. That's not what I saw... The contract says only if you return the rental after hours for the location that you would have to do the return online. It took me more than twenty minutes. Probably would have taken him 5 minutes. This place was seven minutes away from my house it was easy to get to accessible plenty of parking to park the truck and the checkout process went real smooth I did have to call customer service because apparently my settings were wrong on my phone so I couldn't find my location once that was set correctly it took three seconds to check out by far one of the very best experiences I have ever head with a moving company or any company for that matter the entire process was contactless simple self-explanatory the truck was clean it was an overall great experience.Ruth R.

This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. I'm going to be putting this on google as well. A couple of things that went poorly. First, when you check the website, it showed a rate of $20/day plus fees which brought it up to $50. Then I get there and the rate mysteriously jumps to $119. Seems like the company is trying to hook you and upcharge once they've got you and you have no other choice. For the checkout process, you have to take a lot of pictures of the vehicle, your license, etc. Then you have to wait for one of their representatives to confirm your identity. The online checkout process is tedious and not user friendly, but tolerable. I also was originally going to be charged for a Utility cart and furniture pads that were not in the vehicle. I called right away to let them know. The lady was nice and they removed the charges, but it didn't matter because I ended up paying $173 after you add up all the "Taxes and fees" that they put on there. I don't like getting scammed and I used to respect U-haul, but this was a gross misrepresentation of how much I'd have to pay. After leaving a complaint, they said someone would contact me to address it. Nobody called, no messages. Just a receipt for the charges in my email and a reminder to leave a review. Thanks for the reminder at least. I'm going to try different moving services next time.Asad B.
Several items: 1) calling 800 # for support was ridiculously too long to speak to someone 2) changing the time for reservations was difficult 3) pricing was never clear; when I booked it appeared that I got 100 free miles that didn't happen.....was never presented with a screen to put in a discount code ..... when I asked the representative about pricing all they said we would get the best pricing at the end of the trip ..... no way of knowing the pricing optionsSteven P.

The is very little service where you pick the trucks up so it is very hard to do all the stuff online. No one is there to help you since it is attached to a gas station and they have nothing to do with it. They never sent the code to open the box I had to call them and when I did I sat there for 1hr and 30 mins trying to figure out why they never sent the code but took my payment. This also was not the location I requested. I requested it to be within 15 miles of where I would be emptying the apartment I needed to move. Not knowing the area I asked the man on the phone how far and he stated it was within the 15 miles . It ended up being 32 miles almost. When returning the truck, they charged me for the extra miles and I had to call to speak with someone to have that money returned.Tramaine B.

It was a place to drop off the truck, really. There was some chaos in the parking lot with people coming and going, I think that is to be expected though. I do think it would be helpful if it was labeled differently. There was more signage for the gas station than J&N Auto. But overall, it was okay and I was able to check the vehicle back in on my phone.Stephanie J.

When I arrived and logged into the app and began waiting for approval the app timed me out. How that is even possible blows my mind. I did 3 attempts before an agent finally approved it and provided the key code for the key to the truck. It was freezing outside, the first two people I spoke too where no help at all. What should of been a simple 4 minute tops to get the key took 45 minutes and delayed my whole day. Then when I called the location to check out the guy was pretty rude and clearly did not want to talk. I am never using Uhaul again. The app was asking me to provide all the same information I submitted when I scheduled this 2 days prior what a joke. I'm going elsewhere next time.Reinaldo G.

I was never notified of a location change for picking up my vehicle. I specifically selected the initial location and still never received any information on a pickup location change. I had a scheduled pickup for 5pm. I arrived to my original location at 5 and was told the van was not there. That's when I found out that it was at another location. I also found out that the new location closes at 5:30. It was enough time to make it just before the location closed. I would rather carry the furniture on my back for the 210 miles that I traveled than use U-Haul again.Robert D.

We used my phone to pick up the U-Haul we were scheduled for pickup for 10 am but by the time we got through the process on the phone and was approved it was 1040. And we told the van had to be back by 2. I feel we should have been changed from when the process was approved.
