We were charged $14.00 dollars extra for dollies that we truly needed. Upon pickup there were no dollies included and we were still charged for those.Colette R.

Lack of equipment in my area required me to drive 26 miles in the opposite direction that I needed to go in order to pick up the auto transport. I wasn't contacted to find out I was willing to drive 45 minutes one way just to pick up the trailer. I think 10 mile radius is acceptable and the customer should be contacted by phone if the equipment isn't available in that area. That way the customer can inform U-Haul of the area where the equipment will be used and attempt to find equipment in that area. Just saying.Carl V.

This is a great drop off point. I was charged insurance by the store cashier, then told to have it removed I needed to contact the service. The contact at Uhaul who setup the trailer knew I needed receiver, ball and light wire, and assumed the location would have all the supplies. They did not carry anything so I had to drive to the next town to pickup what I was told would be at the location. Recommend uhaul verify location services and supplies before sending anyone there.MARY L.

My Experian with JT's PitStop was very good. They went above and beyond to help me out. The experience trying to reserve a truck with U-Haul was a freaking NIGHTMARE. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul's automated system again because of it!!! But I would definitely recommend calling JT's directly to schedule from that location.Frances T.

I had reserved a truck, 24 furniture pads, and a furniture dolly. But after I had already paid I was told that there were no pads or dolly available. I had to drive to another U-Haul facility for the pads.KEVIN W.

The odometer was not reviewed with us at the pick up location they charged us additional money for milage overage. We did not drive the Miles that were stated so the number from the pickup was not correct... the attendees should have had a review and initial off on the miles to make sure the milage is correct--so no unexpected charges. The trailers need to have a swing jack with a crank placed on them because they are too heavy to lift on and off the tongue. This is an unsafe situation that could be resolved easilyAlan A.

I was supposed to pick up my truck 5 min. away from my home. they changed that on Friday to Lisbon Oh. 49 min away. did they give away my truck or did they take my reservation without a truck. Why could not one of their employees drive down and pick up the truck??? i will probably not use u-haul again.RICHARD R.

Very professional and helpful staff; equipment worked well. This was an alternate location because equipment desired was in short supply and original trailer offered was larger and heavier than required for the job. After contacting, operations rescheduled pick-up for this location with correct sized equipment.Patrick H.
Our problem was that we made the original reservation in Salem and we were quoted over the phone $243. However, when picking up the truck at the new location, the internet was down and we had to do the reservation over the phone. Then we were now given the price of $ 342 instead of suddenly the woman on the phone could not "find any other paperwork with a quote of $243 on it any where and if we wanted the truck, we had to pay $342. What could we do? I tried to argue but she said, "Do you want the truck or not? If you want it, it's $342." I never got a written quote or an email for the first quote. I got a confirmation email that we had reserved a 17 ft. truck or that date, but there were no dollar amounts given. I was not happy with U-Haul at that time and unfortunately U-Haul is the ONLY moving van service within 100 miles of our location. I would love for a supervisor to call me at 330-427-6910 and explain this further.PAT N.

I think that they're should be better communication when talking to the customer. Instead of trying to make a sale you should take the time to get to know what the client wants and needs and if they ask you a question tell them the whole truth not just half of the truth. This has been the worst experience in my life my first time moving using a truck and I did not get the best service I was told one price and when I went to pick up the truck it was $50 more then I was told. I also had to drive 40 miles to get the truck inwhich I did not know about until I check the myuhaul portal to make sure my reservation was set. This was a terrible terrible experience I'm so disappointed I expected a better experience.Camella B.

Called local site looking to find an auto trailer. Was told to call regional support. Called and was diected to J T Pitstop in Lisbon, Ohio. Dave was honest and explained everything and saved me half of what was originally quoted. He truly puts the customers needs and interests first not how much he can mskr off of you. It was extra travel to his place but will definitely use him in the futureBob W.

I rent from Uhaul a few times a year. Renting is cheaper than buying my own trailer and I need a trailer to support my pinball hobby. I wish Uhaul could set me up with an account so I didn't have to go through all the registration every time. I could just use my account and all my info would be in there. By the way, great people down at the Pit Stop.KEITH N.
