My favourite UHaul location. They offer counter service - which is useful because the UHaul phone app is fraught with problems - and the guy is great. We rented 2 Uhaul vans simultaneously - the pickup at JTM Automotive was easy and fast. At the other location we used the phone app and it was a NIGHTMARE. You have to take selfies and then provide the contact info of another person who UHaul has to CONTACT before they release the vehicle. Then when we returned it, we could not log in to website to return it - so spent hours on hold to tell Uhaul we had returned the vehicle. Or you can just go to JTM Automotive, no stress, no headache.MARTINA L.

It was the worst experience to check out and while returning the truck, no support was available. The contract and the return instructions were received 15 hours after we had already returned the truck. The issue was not with the location but was with U-haul online service.Vaasu K.

Great shop and customer service thank you. Uhual needs a policy for fuel. I overpaid 1/8 [f 125L tank which is about 16L in fuel, and decided to drive extra KM because the truck was overfueled. It was a win for Uhaul and a loss for me in money spent. That doesnt come off my invoice so I lose out at least $20. Thats the only issue I have with Uhual. Everything was easy otherwise.Josh M.

Your local customer rep was absolutely ridiculous and your booking system is brutal. You guys booked me at a location that was closed for the weekend. I got there to find the location was closed. The local rep I talked to was rude and useless. Only offered a trailer way later that day and 1.5 hrs away from me which would totally screw up my plans. I got ahold of the original booking location owner myself and he came in to rent it to meCODY C.
My comments are not for the LOCATIONS, If you want proper feedback also apply the experience with dealing with uHaul staff, phone person and so on. The people at the locations did their job properly and with in reason. It was the staff taking the phone calls. They need help badly. I was pissed off. I confirmed drop off location with the uHaul rep on the phone making specific request if they called the store drop off location if it was OK to drop the trailer there. The Rep said YES.so I took their answer to believe it was true. When it came time to drop off the trailer I got a text stating e new drop off location. Wasn't pleased but I still went their. As I got their all sorts of confusion. They said to drop it off at Port Moody which was 5 minutes away. That was Bullshit because I been there and I knew it was 25 minutes away. I said I want to drop it off where I wanted to drop it of first. In the end that was where I went. I got the RUN around and not very happy with that experience. SHIT JOB on UHAULs Part. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Erick C.

I rented a 5x8 trailer, which I was going to take to Edmonton and return it to where I rented it from, Near Edmonton I was pulled over by the police because the marker lights on the passenger side were out, I took the trailer into South Gate U Haul in Edmonton to be repaired, I was told I would get a phone call first thing the next morning, I never did, I waited 3 days for the trailer, and was finally told the trailer had some other issues and it would be another few days before it was repaired, I went back to U Haul to get the contents out of the trailer because I was asked by U Haul to leave the trailer there, I was staying at a motel and the weather was going to turn bad, Although U Haul was open they told me the trailer was in a separate building that was locked up. so I couldnt get my contents untill the next morning. U haul refused to compensate me for anything, This is the worse experience I have ever had with a rental company, I wouldnt recommend U haul to anyoneMark S.

Because I've passed straight and was looking to find the place for 5 mins I had to ask a pedestrian and he pointed me when the location is and from there I couldn't even tell when it was . I had complained about this location to your staff (U-Haul Reference #1279419) and Ali Sidhu [email@example.com] had said he would be refunding $50 as per our contract and issues.I have now emailed him 3x and have not received this refund. I rented from Uhaul 17 times in 2016 between myself and my team and I will no longer be renting from you but I will also be posting on my internal server to let my entire company know not to use your services (One of the largest international companies in the world). When you read my full complaint you will understand why I would be upset with this situation. This level of customer is unacceptable and at the end of the day the $50 would have satisfied my complaint, but now I feel like you did not take my complaint seriously, and you do not value my business,Carli K.

I had originally scheduled a pick up at a different location but found out the night before the scheduler entered the wrong time so I had to scramble and get a truck at a different location. I ordered a 10' truck to use for my off the island move from Campbell River to Port Coquitlam. Everything went through on the website and my order was submitted fine, the day came for me to pick it up (the day I was meant to move.) and I was told at the desk that they didn't have the truck I needed and that they had tried calling me prior to tell me but couldn't reach me (I never got a call), so I could choose between a 26' truck which would be way too big and cost me way more going across the ferry, or a 9' cargo van. I was told that because the van was only a foot shorter than the original vehicle I ordered it would most likely fit everything I had, which was only a dresser, small loveseat, and a king size bed. With no wiggle room for extra costs and the assumption that it would fit my belongings I opted for the van but was left with no room for the mattress whatsoever, leaving me with no option but to leave it at the house we were moving out of as well as a few other boxes of our belongings to be thrown away. Spent the first night at my new apartment sleeping on the hardwood floor of an empty home, and $2000 short because I needed to buy a brand new mattress that I won't get for a week. With no compensation for them messing up my order and allowing me to plan/pack for a bigger truck than they really had available for me, I'm very disappointed and have went outside of my budget for this move. I also ordered a dolly, which I believe I was charged for but did not receive when initially getting the cargo van, so I could not return something I didn't get.Sara D.

Have the fucking truck when you say your going to have a fucking truck. I was sent to three different locations with confirmed reservations and no truck was there. I even called and had them visually confirm the truck was there after being told a truck was ready, drove across town and no truck. My reservation was for 7 am finally got in the truck at 5:00 pm. This was my third rental with budget this month and I will do everything I can not to go back and will be telling everyone I can about my experience with budgetDavid B.
