Not only was no one there during business hours, the truck was on empty with the gage reading â€œone mile to empty.â€ Needless to say, the truck ran out of gas before I could get a half of a mile down the road. Totally inexcusable and unacceptable.Carlton G.

The truck itself was fine but, the appliance dolly, hand dollies and pads that were reserved with the truck were not available. I had to go to 5 different locations to find a dolly. No appliance dollies were available at any of the locations. If you allow a customer to reserve equipment it should be available when you go to pick it up.Kenneth J.
The first truck I was assigned was damaged. Had a hole where water could leak in. I was offered another truck but it took nearly 2 hours to replace itLeonard P.

I was late for reservation and it was cancelled, which I understand. But I don't understand why the location I rented from closes 2+ hours for lunch and doesn't have the common sense to post a note. Wasted over an hour of moving trying to re-rent the same truck. Beginning mileage was incorrect and no way to dispute because the place was closed. Start to finish a really bad experience.Andrew C.

There was no equipment, dollies or pads when I went to pick up the vehicle so I had to find another U-Haul place to get all the equipment I needed to finish the order. Nobody on site to help out with that mistake and a very sketchy part of town to leave your personal vehicle.MICHAEL H.

Local agent told me he would be there to do the check in and we could pick up the truck, but he was not there even though we got there an hour before closing. Had to call the main U Haul number and was told to go on the 24/7 app which I did, but it took about 30 minutes or longer to complete which I really did not have. The agent on the phone earlier was very nice, courteous, polite, etc., but him not being there caused an inconvenience.JERRY A.

This was not the location that I picked and I wished that I was informed that my reservation was switched to this location. I would've also like to have been informed that some of the equipment that I requested was not available either. I wish this was a review for the Cubby Hole and not this location because they were the ones who did not communicate with me properly.Shameka G.

Amisha was a wonderful, outgoing, and super-friendly person who made the experience top-notch. You could tell she loves her job and that shows through her customer service. I had the last appointment of the day and thought I was ready to roll. I found out that I didn't have the proper equipment to hook up the lights. It took me a while to get that equipment and she was waiting patiently and finished the hookup well after store hours ended. She was awesome. I couldn't be happier.Ricky F.

The lady who handled my rental appointment was great. She was professional and efficient with the pick-up and drop off. I could not be happier with her attitude and assistance. The location, however, is in a fairly bad part of town, which necessitated me to ensure my car was not left on site. Everything was great at Just for cars! The gentlemen working was outstanding. However, that was not supposed to be my pickup location. The first place was rude and very disorganized and didn't seem to care that they didn't have the trailer I reserved. I'm kind of thankful I got sent to someone who actually cared.Joshua S.

Owner was very disrespectful and no help. The trailer had a flat tire and they told us to go fill it down the street. After we told them that was not our job, it took them 30 minutes to get another trailer from the side of his property and when we asked for a discount for our inconvenience he said " if you can't afford this then maybe you shouldn't have rented a uhaul" then asked me "would you like a personal loan from me to rent it". This owner should NOT be affiliated with uhaul. Very unprofessional and zero help. I will not recommend this to anyone and I will be sure to make sure all the other military personnel that work for me do not give this location business.Mark L.

I was told .89 a mile when i made a reservation for the truck. When I picked it up Saturday it changed to 1.09 a mile. Making my total a lot more than I was looking to spend. Customer needs it in writing when quoted a price per mile when making a reservation for a truck so it doesn't magically changed when you actually pick up the truck on moving day.Michael T.

Took over an hour to pick up our trailer. After they charged our debit card presented at pickup in addition to charging the card on file for reservation, the guy said he had to call corporate and it would be a while or we could pay cash and skip the hold time. But to pay cash, it would be more than the contracted amount? Sketchy place, sketchy reps, sketchy scam to get cash. No explanation as to the reason the call to corporate was needed. After an hour or so, the mysterious technical issue was resolved. Then trailer lights didn't work, but not discovered until after dark.Vicki H.
