I was charged extra miles that wasn't used . Also extra days . I turn the unit in two days early. Also the rental place on Natchitoches hwy where I reserved the unit did not process the reservation at that location. I had to drive 50 miles out of my way to get the truck I needed.Charlie H.

No one called by 6PM the day prior to confirm my rental. I called in because I was concerned I would not have a truck for my move. I was told the truck had almost 1/2 tank of gas. When we drove around front, we showed the employee that there was actually 1/4 tank of gas. He said he would make the change online. The day of the return I called the Natchitoches location because I could not see the change and they said it had been made. Upon returning the truck in Dallas, Texas I was charged $47.00 because the truck did not have 1/2 a tank. It was not a professional experience at all.Craig C.
This location did not have ideal parking for the large U-Haul that I rented. Where I was forced to park it, I felt like I was blocking the storage units. I did love the convenience of turning the U-Haul in after hours by only using my cell phone though. That was very nice.Tara C.

I could not get the online phone drop off system to work. It would not find my location. I tried all the help suggestions and nothing. I ended up using a friends phone to get it to work. I tried calling the uhaul help number but was on hold for the longest time.christina H.

Place was closed, called #on the sign no response, called uhaul for assistance first lady was not helpful gave #to call no response because it was a Sunday and you have to call during normal business hours after going through all that called U-Haul again and finally got someone who was able to get ahold of someone at the property to give us the code 2 get in the gate to drop off the equipment. Was that a wonderful experience, was actually quite stressful.TAMMY C.

The attendant was unable to print contract as printer was not working. The email copy was to small to read. The trailer was very old and difficult to attach to truck. We rented 1 way. It rain into the trailer and ruined the content. When we inspected the interior of the trailer we saw the rain water pouring in at two entry points. It was very visible that someone had attempted to repair the trailer with some type of sealant. The insurance offered and we purchased did not cover the water damage to our content ...insurance only covers accidnets.Rita S.

I don't rent Uhaul products often or ever but I needed a Uhaul to move this past weekend soon last Wednesday afternoon I stopped by the I haul location on the bypass in Natchitoches, Louisiana and I went in and was greeted by a slender older woman who wasn't real friendly and I proceeded to tell her that I needed to rent a Uhaul for the upcoming Saturday. She asked me what size I needed she rattled off some different size trucks but there weren't any visuals so I just picked one I picked a 10 she told me that I would have to put a card on file to hold the reservation I explained to her at that moment that all I had was my bank card and she said that was fine it's just to hold to the reservation... I think that would have been the perfect opportunity to let me know that when I pick up the Uhaul truck that I will need to have a credit card and if I don't have a credit card that a$100 cash deposit will be needed,but she didn't!!! She then asked me when would I be returning the Uhaul and I told her Sunday and she didn't say anything else... I asked he we would I need to use my insurance or how does that work.... She told me that when I pick it up to they would discuss those options with me. I said ok and she told me that someone would contact me the day before I pick up the Uhaul and that was that. So Friday I received a text and a phone call from a Uhaul representative that told me the truck that I had reserved wouldn't be available but that would have one a size up for the same price would that be ok but that I would have to pick it up at 11 instead of 12 because the Reba St location close at 12 . That was fine because it wasn't a total inconvenience. So Saturday morning I get to Reba street location and the young guy working said went through and begin to process my order and then he asked how would I be paying I told him a debit card and then he begin to explain that if paying with a debit card I would have to pay a$100 deposit he said he would try to run my debit card as a credit card but if I declined it I would need to pay the cash deposit I wasn't upset with him because he was simply doing his job just feel like this is something that should have been shared with me when I initially reserved the Uhaul.because I'm in the process of moving who's to say I had $100 hanging around... I like to be aware of things in advance... anyway I had to leave and come back do that I could get the cash well once I got back to pay he asked me how many miles I would be traveling I explained to him and where I would be traveling he guessed the mileage but he never said anything about a fee for going over said miles and furthermore he never said that I was only allowed a certain number of miles.... How was I to know that I would have needed to make three trips instead of the one. This have been a extremely stressful move and being told thsy I owe $111.82 for a rental gas only added to my stress the people who work for and represent your Company are uninformed and I am disappointed in the service and my entire experience if my rental fee was $55.83 and I paid the$100 deposit why do I still owe $111.82 please explainLATASHA O.
I was unable to return the truck when desired. This location should not be listed as a 24hr location. The number posted to call for gate code only went to an answering machine. No apologies were made for the inconvenience. Very unorganized. I also attempted to rent storage from this location for my move. I work out of town and was told the unit would be held and I could sign the contract the next day. I arrived five minutes after their opening time and was told the unit had been given to someone else. They offered another unit at double the price.LAVORA W.
Picking up from this location was a complete disaster. When we arrived we could not access the vehicle and key box because the gate was locked. We followed the directions on the sign and called the number they listed but there was not an answer. I called U-Haul and it took close to an hour to get the code to the gate. Once I was able to get in the fenced area and process the pickup the key box was empty. It took over 2 hours to complete the pickup.Arthur J.
Terrible experience. We rented two uhuals. Even though we signed up to return to this location, they said we had to go to their sister store across town to return it. We even showed him the email stating we signed up to return at the reba st store. we had to go all the way across town to return a truck that was suppose to go to the reba street one. I arrived at the return location listed on my contract to find a small 2'x3' ground sign marking the location, and no one there. I arrived Saturday August 1, 2020 at 1 pm. The phone number on my contract was not in service. The office was a storage unit company, had a u-Haul truck parked in its lot, closed, and had a different phone number on the wall, so I called it. The young girl who answered the phone, looked up my phone number and then gave me the new address she said was on my contract for me to return the trailer to. I then drove to that facility, arrived Saturday, August 1st at 1:20 pm , again a storage unit facility, no one there, quite a few trailers and trucks on site...UN-hitched my trailer, completed the on line steps for return and departed.Denise F.

Better customer service the guy was extremely rude when I came for my deposit which they shorted 13.00 because he said the back of the truck had dust in it which was already dusty when I got it and needed to be swept which I was unaware of. Don't call and confirm the reservation at one time, then call the next day to change your times. If we had not been in the city already we would have been in serious trouble. The unit was filthy in the cab and outside.hLISA F.
