I know that the location has no control over this but I need to tell someone. The UHaul app is consistently difficult and non-intuitive to use. This time, upon returning the vehicle, the app got stuck in an endless loop when it came time to photograph the odometer/fuel gauge. It took me quite some time to discover that the location-sharing permission for the UHaul app had been automatically disabled by Google due to lack of use over time. The app never notified me that this was the issue. A simple notification in the app (at startup or when taking photos) to prompt renewal of the permissions would be a great help.Richard B.

The truck beat me up worse than moving the 3br and 2 stall garage the rattles and squeal with rough ride was impossible. Truck aside service was good check in with pandemic was great and equipment was cleanWesley M.

For starters I hate the fact that a person cannot contact a location directly. And I know its not because that location is busy. When we got to the Uhaul location the only phone that rang was a personal cell phone. As soon as you call the â€œlocalâ€ number it says your hold time will exceed 20 minutes. And it sure did!!! Your Uhaul app is a good concept, accept when it doesn't work. Which it didn't at pick up or drop off. It froze up or didn't give the option to submit drivers license pics or mileage pics. Our truck wasn't available when we needed it on Friday and then again on Saturday. We had to get a different truck. And the guy from the original location disnt even have the courtesy to call me back, I got a text saying my new pick up location had changed and so did the size of the truck.Larry P.
Checking out the unit was not pleasant as its been over 20 years since I've rented a truck. For Saturdays being a busy rental day, I would presume. I would think you'd have the office staffed all day. Return was better. Although, after I long day I did not remember the original mileage and I think I was below what I estimated.. The truck seemed to be very shaky. It drove very rough. I know this isn't the fault of the renting location. The brakes appeared to be very worn. Outside of the vehicle was very best beat up. Very glad I only had to put on 28 miles.Joshua S.

Give me a truck that won't break down and then take 5.5 hours to get me a tow truck. I called Meier towing who is one of your providers after roadside told me they couldn't locate a tow truck within 2.5 hours... Meier towing was able to get to me within an hour.. never received a call from anyone from U-Haul. Terrible experience. Also been transferred too many times and told by too many people it's not their job to handle reimbursements.Austin M.

Jackie at Kimco was great. My comment has nothing to due with Kimco but with the after hours check-in process. It was long and somewhat complicated after a long day of moving. Technology can be great and I see how it may benefit Uhaul but it is tedious for the customer. The actual U-Haul truck LEAKED! Our mattress had a liner and a pad on it, yet the rain water seeped through the mattress. I contacted Kimco, they then contacted the U-Haul regional rep. I was asked to email him the pictures of the bed. I did - and did not receive a bounce back from email. Never heard anything for 3 days, called Kimco, they called him again - he finally called me. Said there are signs plastered all over the back saying that you need plastic, as the truck is not water proof. He was very short. Said he couldn't do anything. He said he looked at truck and it appeared fine. However, the Kimco people didn't say anything about him being there. He could of at least apologized for our experience! The people at Kimco we fine to work with, however, the U-Haul rep was not. I will look into other vendors the next time I need a truck.Kelly P.
