The problem was not so much with the location that I picked up the truck. The problem is that when I went to move I had to get a smaller truck because the larger trucks were not available I had to rent two trailers in addition to the truck because the larger truck was unavailable and I had to make two trips nine hours there and back twice to make the move instead of once. On the second trip U-Haul gladly charged me twice the price for the truck that they initially did. This is the same 15 foot truck that I rented previously. I complained about it and it went to the complaints department who is supposed to get back to me about it and guess what they never did. U-Haul has the benefit of being almost the only place to rent a truck and therefore can treat their customers poorly. My name is Larry Johnson my phone number is 519-560-0327. U-haul has given me hardest time for moving. I had received non-rentable u-haul in which Air Condition is not working and has engine heating issue. Why would you gave this truck when you guys were aware that I had to drive 400+ kms. I drove from Kingsville to Windsor to Etobicoke. Horrible driving experience, Air conditioner didn't work for entire time and outside temperature It was boiling hot. Exhausting driving entire road because we had to let windows open for 100 km/hr speed for almost 4.5 hour driving. Called to customer care to request for help, they told to call road assistance. Called road assistance and they didn't pick up the call and after tiring efforts drove non-rentable U-haul truck in 35 c degree hot temperatures. This is not what I expected when I have paid for $370 for 24 hour service. U-haul has used me to get their non rentable truck from Windsor to Etobicoke so that they can fix the truck, I wish they would have cared for customer first then earning more money.nischay S.
The clerk was puzzled at an additional $31 fuel charge slapped on my account for no reason (I refuelled as requested before returning it) but he couldn't reverse the fee. I would still like that money refunded.Maximillion S.

Reserving the trailer was a difficult process due to the online system reporting the trailer as not available though it was on site, with no other reservations. The staff tried, but the rental required repeated returns to the store to complete the process.MIKE B.

ITs nt Tina fault or kings fault but I waited over an hour in an because uhaul system wasn't working properly . I rented a 15 foot received a 10 foot and arrived 945 as I was told would be ready by then and didn't get out of there until 11:00am . Uhaul System not workin computer . Uhaul help line phoned and no help at all. She phoned two different numbers and no one would help her or us . A secondary employee was called in to help me and I finally got my pick up .paige F.

It's a convenient location for county residents close to Kingsville. I will certainly rent from them again. Staff were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The truck was ready when I arrived and it only took a few minutes to process the paperwork and I was on my way.David H.

My reservation wasn't on file. The regional uhaul manager called me the next day asking me if I had returned the truck which I had the day before. He then told me that for some reason neither system was showing up a reservation and makes it look like the truck the stolen. Then he told me I needed to pay an extra $5.65 environmental fee (which I had already paid online) in order to close out the account and if it isn't paid I would be sent to collections. Which makes no sense because he just told me he couldn't see a confirmed reservation. When asked if he was going to reimburse me the 5.65 he was hesitant and proceeded to tell me â€œit's only $5â€. When telling him that isn't the point this is the company's problem not mine because the truck has been paid for, returned, and refueled and asked him for the company to pay for it he said he couldn't. I highly do not recommend uhaul or paying online.Sarah A.

your mileage rate is simply, not attractive. n my opinion, some of us pay for abusive drivers, as they drive like is the end of the world. Damage to the outer structure is another indication. Too many drawbacks to now factor into using your service. I found that I can hire a driver/helper for 300 /day inclisive of 100 km. The convenience store lady was cordial, even though she was minding the cash register and accepting a dairy shipment, so it took 30 minutes to complete the return. My Son rented U Haul the same day in Etobicke, He was blatantly lied to by the rep and had to scramble to find a truck in Scarborough. 2.5 hrs late, lost his window time for the condo elevator. U Haul ineptitude is obvious, just offering a credit for free kms, didnt make a dent in the chaos created by...your representatives. True Story.Maybe Enterprise should buy you?Brian N.

The 10 foot cargo van was fantastic the truck was an excellent drive and the cargo area was clean and the finish of the inside of the cargo van is excellent. Great engine and great breaks the only thing that I wish the truck had was was Cruise control. Staff were excellent King's convenienceRay H.

The operator at the King's location was not knowable concerning the rental procedure. In fact, he made a phone to get help from someone at the service station next door. Also, he did NOT inspect the truck before giving me the keys. The 15' box truck was filthy inside the cab and in the storage box. No walk-around inspection was done either. Being a first time U-Haul renter, I had little knowledge of the rental procedure and felt the authorized retailor should have been more competent and professional concerning the rental.Pamela H.

The only issue I had was not knowing this vehicle I could not know how big a gas tank and had to estimate it on how much gas it would use. It was new year's eve and knowing there would be issued filling it late in the evening I had to fill it up in Sarnia it was to be returned with 3/4 tank of gas . I returned it full which was approx $25 the to $30 extra in the tank. I asked about a credit for this and was told no.DEBBY W.

Vehicle was rented with a burned out headlight which prompted being stopped by police and told no to drive it until it is fixed. We then parked the vehicle to the next morning....but lost out on moving in the evening.ron D.

At the Kingsville Ontario Uhaul. It seamed that this person was preoccupied and was doing me a favour to receive the trailer return. When I asked for a written receipt to indicate that the trailer was received in good condition, he refused and told me that he would not sign anything and waved me out of his store, dismissively. Ensure the proper size of the vehicle requested is available. I reserved a 10 foot on July 20 and on September 1 was given at 20 foot truck. I thought I had planned well enough in advance to secure my choice. I know I payed a lot more for gas with the bigger truck.DAVID L.

Guy was too busy to serve me . Called to get a 22 ft van. Said was available but when i got there he pushed me to get a 17 ft . Said that was only one available. Had to input all my stuff in computer. For him . Recieved van with check engine light on . Started it up smoking like crazy . But it did clear up after a while . When i returned it . Guy couldnt figure out how many miles i used . No free miles per day . Would have done less trips with bigger van. if i knew how much i was wouldnt have used it . 347 $ for 2 days . Made 3 trips from harrow to south woodslee. Quote was 169 .MIKE A.

The pick up and drop off locations were fine, however when I spoke to a representative on the phone because after filling out the form online I realized the pick up and drop off location was not what I wanted, I wish they would have told me that it was $80 more to pick up and drop off at a separate location. I would have preferred to pick up in Kingsville and drop off in Kingsville however the trailer was not available there. I was told it was only available in delhi. I don't feel we should have been charged for having to pick up and drop off at a separate location since the trailer was not available at our preferred location. I will hesitate before using Uhaul again and will tell others to make sure they discuss price and to always call not to trust the on line report.Robert B.

Noted all the damage on the truck, so I wasn't blamed for it. Owner upset by me doing this. Truck was clean and gas was full. Picked truck up at noon, returned at 1030 pm, as was more convenient for me. No gas station in Kingsville open at that time. I had to drive back to Ruthven to fill gas tank, then back to Kingsville!! This causing me to be charged for more mileage and using more gas! No convenience for your customer, when wanted to pick it up in Leamington and return in Leamington as well! When I book a trailer for pick-up at one location and the last two rentals I've been told I have to pick up somewhere else that is not acceptable. When I have to go behind the counter to assist the vendor complete the on-line rental info that is not acceptable. When I have to load the trailer myself that is not acceptable. When I do my own circle check and there is no brake fluid in the trailer reservoir that is not acceptable. When I am overcharged at the pick up location for both insurance and rental fee that is not acceptable. When I am told by the vendor that I have to return the trailer to his location to avoid being charged more, even though a U-haul manager advised the initial vendor that I was to drop it off there that is not acceptable. Don't rent from here.ROB D.
