Lady working did not know how to do transaction and had to call help twice. I specifically asked her about price, it was at $570 for trailer and insurance, she said no that is all you have to pay, it was $644.xx. Went to get trailer and could not access it to hook up to our truck due to lack of space because of other rental trucks parked in the way. My husband and myself with no assistance had to man handle the trailer, pick it up by hand and walk it out of space to our truck. Not a good experience since we had to do this twice due to the weight of trailer and no jacks. Get trailer hooked up start doing walk around and the lights do not work. I go in to tell the lady working, again she is only person working and running a store. She comes out tells us to take the other trailer. We are now stuck trying to get the trailer backed into the space it came from, or we again have to pull it out manually again, by ourselves. I go back in store and ask the lady if she can move the rental truck out of the way, she cannot because she is only person working the store and ask if we can move it. My husband moves the truck as far as he can do to another rental truck and dumpster in the way of backing it out of the way. Mind you there still was not enough space to get the first trailer backed in straight. We now have to move the second trailer, which is surrounded by brush that has blown in around it. We get it hooked up, not extension for light connection, so we took off first trailer. We get connected lights work. I go back in store give lady keys and I asked her did she not need the number of the new trailer to change contract, oh yeah guess I do, she says. So I gave to her. We return trailer in Branson and begin to tell the man of the events and that the trailer number does not match the contract. He tells us good thing you had no problems you had a stolen trailer. Well, thankfully we did not because we paid for insurance, but trailer number was not changed, so if we had an issue it would not have covered it. I feel if you are going to have 2 businesses running out of 1 place you should have 2 people attending, 1 for each business. Customers should not have to manually pick up these trailers to get hooked up. My husband and I are both close to 60 years old and have back issues we deal with just from our work and work at home. I don’t know what can be done, but I feel like at lest the insurance should be refunded.

I was very disappointed with uhaul booking. First I was to pick up the trailer on the 11th of May and they rented it underneath me and then I had to go pick one up in Kingman 40 minutes from me and a day early.... The stress it caused me to have a panic attack. Do better next time.

These 3 rd party places haul need to be up to the same standards and cleanliness and good customer service as the places that are not regular u haul stores. The place I dropped my trailer rental off. Did not give me a receipt, said that I could leave? And they'd email me a receipt, and he did not do this. He looked like he was stoned. And I later in the week, received a call from Uhaul telling me they did not receive the trailer. Im glad when I dropped off the trailer I felt there was something wrong, and I took pictures proving that I dropped it off and I had a friend who is a retired police officer with me which was an excellent witness. Should we need to go to court? But I guess they have decided not to do that. Which is smart, because I would win? And I would countersue for all my trouble, my costs and my legal fees. If you haul wants me as a future customer, I would recommend they reimburse me the entire amount.I paid for this rental. Calling me and accusing me of not dropping off. This rental has been stressful has been embarrassing and basically losing you a customer. I feel I need to be compensated.Don't you?
