The drop off location has charged me on 2 separate occasions for late fees when the vehicle was dropped off early. How many customers have they done that to that haven't paid attention to their bill?JOHN B.

The drawback was the layout of the units. The slope of the ground dictated a too narrow road which was angled down on one side and the other was not flat but wavy. Hard to load unit and worse to unload. Otherwise all was good.Jean J. | Overall Experience

Criminals! DON't PAY IN ADVANCE!!! NO REFUNDS!! (read the fine print because they won't tell you upfront they will take your money and if you ask for one tell you "its in the contract". I paid 3 months in advance ( $450 cash) and never even entered the property or even looked at my unit because after 3 weeks of trying in vane to get someone to help me move my stuff from los angeles i decided to wait until summer . After i explained my situation i asked for a refund of the remaining 2 months but she told me NO REFUNDS SORRY! BAD BUSINESS !!Ron B. | Overall Experience

Due to the Covid restrictions and no longer having property in Golden Valley, AZ I will not likely be in the area again and certainly not on a long-term basis, unfortunately. 1st you did NOT have a truck for me in BULLHEAD CITY!! So then YOU forced me to get the truck in GOLDEN VALLEY. I contacted that location and I WAS told you would NOT CHARGE me that EXTRA MILEAGE. When picking up the truck, I was told I WOULD NOT get mileage off. so NOW WHAT are my choices, I had to have the truck, so somewhat FORCED to get the truck!! I called your 1-800-U-Haul # because Golden Valley location, said Corporate was the ONLY WAY to get my mileage credit, they told me they couldn't do that, but that the GOLDEN VALLEY is the only way to get that. So bottom line, "I DON'T like being LIED to" I will go to the end of the world before I ever have to deal with U-Haul again. That is exactly what I will say to ALL my friends & family before the are screwed by you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Donna C.
Location was closed for 2 hours when I went to drop off the trailer. The renting location was very helpful closing my contract. Did call to the drop off location and she was helpful too but was concerned I would be held responsible if trailer was stolen from the time of my drop off till the time the drop office location returned to their office.dennis B.

Employee would not click on "use card from reservation" link. Made my employee go to Kingman to have this done. Then was closed and cost me an extra day!!!! VERY POOR SERVICE!!!krista P.
When I arrived to return the truck I had a storage unit on reserve in which case I was placed on a 30Â° angle Hill and put in a storage unit at the very end of a run but I couldn't get my truck out of without backing up the 26-ft U-Haul truck out of the U-Haul environment whoever laid out this U-Haul design should be fired. Went to ask the U-Haul lady if I could switch to another unit so I didn't have to load my stuff uphill and she went for lunch so I had no choice but to continue on and back that 26-ft truck up out of the U-Haul environment would sat on a hill. Needless to say I'll be retrieving my items within the 30 days and will never again use this particular U-Haul in the future.Jeremy A.

clean faculity with nice employee. your computer system is not up to date or very slow. The rental contract took awhile to complete. If there had been more people there to rent it would have backed up bad. The pos terminal did not work. I will rent there again, Thanksrob Q.
Once again, we were detoured due to the fire. Called and made arrangements to rent for one more day. Female extremely rude and said she had someone waiting.. Well i'am sorry that I got detoured with a 26' Uhaul due to the Bush fire.. let me just pull over right here in the side of the road and unload it and get it back to you.........Candace C.

During the rental when I got to my location to load my cargo I had a hard time opening the ramp gate of the trailer,apparently the right pin was bent and the gate was slightly off center the left side was good After I loaded again I had a hard time latching the ramp gate But was lucky to get help from others so I could come back home safely I told the attendant about the problem she took it off to get it fixedGasper G.

I got there to pick up my reservation ballhead location they already sold it from underneath my feet had to drive 35 miles backtrack which took an hour to get there to rent a bigger one for more money end up getting it from Golden Valley. Air conditioning was broke it turned on but I only blew through the Defrosters and was extremely hot for the 4 Hour drive.Melissa A.

I renTed the 6x12 enclosed trailor, had a flat tire right before I left, called u haul and they had a tire guy come put a new tire on in less than 30 minutes. Exuipment was oustanding very nice and safe. Will always use and recommend UHAUL. They even covers my 1st Mont rent at a storage unit. Again EXCELLENT service and equipment. Thanks!Douglas P.

Tried to rent a car dolly. When we did a pre-trip check on the dolly, we found out One light was out so it wasn't street legal. Switched over to two axle trailer. When we got to the pick up point for our vehicle we were getting. brake fluid was pouring out of the left (drivers) rear brake (photos available) We had to top up the surge brake MC before coming home. When we notified the vendor of the issue, she has us park the trailer back on the ready line, even with the obvious leak. It was still there 2 days later. Apparently it was still being offered up customers' use. This is NOT a good way to do business. If I'm not mistaken, I ended up having to pay the higher price for the trailer over the dolly even though it was a Uhaul equipment problem that made the trailer necessary. Again: this is NOT a good way to do business.DAVID S.
