The guy said he knows nothing about the service. He just sent me the contract by email. I sad I din't want the insurance, they told me to take the large truck instead of a minivan. The Guy didn't remind me about the gas that should be replaced. Finaly, they charged me for the insurance. I go back twice to the office, the guy couldn't help me. When I call Rock who is a so.called supervisor, he told me he was going to call the Guy to verify.sincemyesterday, he never call. I went this morning, since 10 am, he never call and is trying to find excuse not to reimbourse the amout for the insurance. I'm very disappointedun you guys and I'm not recommanding this company to anyone.JEAN RAMCES V.

This location charged me nearly double what I should have paid based on the quote and actual mileage. They overcounted my kilometers by a factor of two, and told me I had to buy insurance for the pickup I rented, even though my existing auto insurance would have covered it. Despite telling them that theÂ starting km and fuel level were incorrect, they didn't print a revised contract even though I asked and said they'd correct it themselves later. I tried calling the dealer afterwards and also sent in evidence to U-Haul (photos I took of the odometer and fuel gauge at start and end), but they never got back to me. I can't recommend this location unfortunately if you have a choice of where to go. If you have to use it, take pictures and double-check the contract before leaving (especially mileage and fuel level), and insist on a revised written contract if they don't match. The dealer should also update their practices to ensure the km reading and fuel level on their vehicles are correct, and be willing to amend the written contract if they're not. They should also inform themselves on the rules re when insurance is needed, and provide vehicles with a decent level of fuel in them (full makes it easiest to return, but if not then at least something well above empty). And I wish they would have responded to calls/voicemails after. Be aware also the location on Google Maps is incorrect and listed all the way across town. I tried submitting an edit to Google Maps, but I think the business owner themselves would have to provide the edit for it to stick.SACHA N.

Make sure vehicles are available for pick up as planned through online booking. Make sure vehicles especially truck cabs are clean. Employ Friendly customer service. Our experience with this dealer was poor. Vehicle was not ready or available at arranged pick up. Truck cab was dirty with garbage left behind. Office was disorganized and not professional and service was rude. I will not use again nor recommend. Thankfully online customer service was excellent and helped to remedy the situation.DAVID CHRISTIAN S.

Horrible horrible customer service. Never using you again. Our reservation was for 8am and we were supposed to be able to pick up the truck using your supposed 24 hour service. No one called the day before to confirm the reservation like it says when you place the order but online it says to show up and instructions will tell you how to get the keys. We showed up at 8am and we couldn't get the truck. When we logged in to the reservation for instructions on how to get the keys it says WAIT FOR STORE TO OPEN. Why do you have a 24 hour service if we have to wait for the store to open?? A lot of good that does us. We needed to be out by a certain time and we had to wait for the store to open at 10. When we got there at 10 the employee said the 24 hour service never works, basically saying its garbage.. wtf? We ordered 1 furniture pad and 1 dolly, we asked if they were in the truck he said yes. We get home 2 hours behind and start loading and the dolly and pad were not in the truck. Now I don't have time to drive back and pick them up and I dont have time to get back on the phone and complain. I'm moving to another province hours away and I'm behind thanks to you so we made do without them. But when I called the next morning to notify you that the stuff was missing I was basically told it was my problem for not checking the truck and you won't reimburse me the money. Because asking the person who is giving us the keys isn't enough AMAZING. Even though you can clearly see in the truck I dropped off that the dolly and pad are missing. So it's okay for your company to not call me to confirm like you said you would. But it's not okay for me to not open the truck and check. Basically you just don't want to reimburse is the money and you should as it's your company that didnt provide the supplies we asked for. And your company doesn't even take responsibility for not having the 24 hour service you provide. That 20 bucks going to do a big difference to you ?? L'endroit est idÃ©al. J'ai et je vais mettre sur internet mon Ã©valuation a propos de votre compagnie U-Haul. Quand j'ai appellÃ© j'ai demandÃ© combien pour louer un camion de 10' par jour, il m'a rÃ©pondu 19.95 plus l'assurance et les kilometres et l'essence. Alors j'ai demandÃ© est-ce que je peux aller le chercher la veille et le rapporter le lendemain il a dit oui, on a fait 17.5 kilometres en tout et on l'a rapportÃ© le lendemain a 11h00 le matin. Mais quel surprise quand il a mentionnÃ© 140.00. Il nous a dit que ca comptait pour 2 jours alors 2 assurances, plus 20.00 essence mais nous avons a peu pres seuelemnt 10.00 d'essence et ce qu'il nous a pas mentionnÃ© c'est que une journÃ©e pour vous compte pour 4 heures et non 24 heures. Ceci c'est de la fausse publicitÃ©. Avoir su on serait aller le chercher a 8h00 le matin meme et non la veille car on pensait que l'on avait pour 24 heures. Je veux me faire rembourser la moitiÃ© du montant que l'on a payÃ©, c'est ma soeur qui a payÃ© (Marjane Gauthier) car moi je n'avais pas assez d'argent. This is the closest location to me, so I arranged pickup there. The gentleman was rude, he protected himself well by having me stay outside but I had to wait for the truck. He drove it to me without gloves or mask, so he was contaminated I'd have also been (without disinfecting it myself). I asked him if the truck was cleaned and disinfected, he said yes, but it was a lie. The dashboard and around the wheel was dusty. I don't like to negatively surveyed someone but something needs to be done. I rented a truck recently from Scarborough, the attending gentle lady was friendly and cordial. I feel sorry to say this, but the gentleman is doing a disservice to the U-Haul brand. One last thing, when I questioned him about the state of cleanliness of the truck he said, if you don't like it, you can cancel the booking.PAULHENRY C.

Our pick up was scheduled for 10am but since the garage changed it's hours due to Covid-19, they did not open until after 10:30am. I called the U-Haul central number and Mikayla told me the hours had not been updated by the garage. The garage worker advised me they had indeed advised u-haul of their modified hours but had not received a response. I should be compensated by u-haul for this discrepancy.jill M.
The cell phone system didn't work for me as it asked for location services and could not get it to work on my phone. I called and waited 30 minutes over the phone without any answer. The person at the pickup point arranged it for me but I wasted 30 minutes because of the phone problem and no answer from the call center.Jean-Pierre H.
