Location is a radio station and uhaul site. Uhaul sent me an email and called me the day after I dropped it off at the location to say they hadn't received the truck and equipment, which caused me to panic and worry that the truck might have been stolen.

Michael SThis transaction started with another U-haul center in San Angelo being unable to provide us with the 26 foot truck we had reserved, then notifying us by email instead of a phone call. Who checks email during the day while preparing to move? We then had to scramble and find two trucks, the second being this one. The employees at KRUN were courteous and accommodating.

Edward GCar dolly was clean but, it was older and probably could be retired. Of the two that were at the location the one I picked was the older one, it worked but the small moving parts needed lube, the fenders needed replacment. Lights , ramps & chains worked fine.

JAMES RThis has nothing to do with Ballinger or Big Lake but with the Uhaul customer service representative. We booked the reservation for a 10' truck a week before we needed it. I called Uhaul customer service to see about adding a day and some more miles to our rental. The person I spoke to said she could add extra miles and that for an extra day it would cost 40 dollars. Before I hung with the representative I asked if our truck was at the Big Lake location she said it was. We left from San Angelo, TX to Big Lake, TX which is an hour and 8 minutes away. We get there and they don't have our truck, he said he didn't have a 10' foot truck for about a week. He called Uhaul customer service to find out about booking another truck. The closes truck they had was in Ballinger, TX which is back the way we came an hour and 40 mins away. That made our trip an extra 2 hours and 48 mins instead of them just telling us that Big Lake didn't have a truck and that Ballinger had one which is 36 mins away from San Angelo. The website said that we were to get 50 dollars if the place that we reserved our truck at didn't have it. I would like to see about getting that.

Della ANo one was on site and did not want to come to location to check me in. Even though I had a cell phone that would support the actual app, my service in the area was extremely sketchy and it was extremely hot. The situation could have been handled in a much more professional manner.

Jodi HTruck was clean but had some transmission and steering issues, but it did have over 93000 miles. Did ok for the short trip we had but would have been tiresome for a long trip.

Paul KThese people couldn't find the keys. The equipment was filthy. It took my 2 hours to pick up the truck and another 2 hours to return the truck. Very unorganized.

Bob LI checked out online and the perdon on duty didn’t know how to retrieve so she had to call her brother. It took over an hour to get the truck & tow dolly and the they didn’t want to hook the tow dolly to the truck! Horrible customer service, nonchalant about Uhaul service, very hard to find.
Linda JThe operator is not very knowledgeable about u-haul services. He does not listen very well to requests, he is rushed and should cover the contract completely to make sure the information is correct.
