Someone from u haul not the people at the pickup location called me the day before pickup and lied to me about not having a 15 ft truck available in my area. And wanted me to use a 10 ft truck instead I went and talked with The people that I made the reservation for a 15 ft truck with. They assured me they had a 15 ft truck and I would have it like my reservation said. They assured me called U-Haul and straighten things out. As you can see I rent a U-Haul truck every year and this summer twice I was very disappointed in u haul trying to put me in a smaller truck then the one I reserved just so they could rent the one I reserved to someone else. Will probably use one of the other rental companies in the future Bad business choices U-Haul

The app didn’t work well at all. Had to wait for location to open to be able to leave with truck, because the photos required refused to upload properly.

Sarah CThe store was closed but there was no indication that they would be closed (either online or even at the location). I get that they took July 3 off for the holiday weekend, but it would have been good to know that. I would have booked for July 1 or 2. There was not even a sign on the door saying they were closed. I just thought they were running very late. I planned to be there on a day when the store was manned because WiFi is very weak in that part of Derby and it takes forever to sign up online and go through the photos and everything else to get the keys. Wish they told customers when they are open and not open. I only "recommend" them because there is no one else nearby. *Another thing was that the online sign in charged me for my ballpark estimate of 40 miles. It was just an estimate and I did not actually have that much mileage on it. Good thing I did not estimate more miles. Not a good experience this time around.

JULIE WThe only challenge was the main hub was going to send me to St. Johnsbury due to Kyle’s shop only having two lock boxes. I would recommend adding lock boxes in rural locations so customers don’t have to pay additional mileage just to pick their moving truck. Thanks We worked it out but it added stress the evening before the move and I had to alert my driver.
