Biggest disappointment was setting up trailer rental for $89.70 for a one way. Only find out when I went to pick it up the rate jumped to $133.50. 50% spike cost. Not good. The district manager said unless i could come up with paperwork showing the rate, it was just a quote. The truck i rented 2 weeks earlier was not this way. Very disappointed since I can still go in on the app and book the trailer for the $89.70. I must be missing something. Learned my lesson.
PETER SThey may not have all the equipment you reserved on line. When I reserved online I also reserved a hand truck with a strap to move appliances. When I got there they said they didn’t have that and they never do. They made no effort to check other locations to see who had one, they just told me where I might try. I called another location and got to your central number and that person was helpful in looking where I could get a hand truck. I had to make an additional stop at a U-Haul dealer to get a hand truck. U-Haul should not allow equipment to be reserved that isn’t available. This was very frustrating and cost me extra time, and milage to detour for this equipment.
Thomas DLets start with no ability to leave my vehicle while I pick up a truck to move with. If onsite parking is not available this is something that would be helpful to know in advance. I have rented from U-Haul several times in the past and have always been able to leave my vehicle onsite, this time I had to drive back home and then find a way back to pick up my rental. Vehicle wise it was clean. The vents were broken and to have the fan on anything besides lowest setting there was a high pitch whistle noise coming from the blower/vents. I also reserved moving blankets, nope, get told at time of vehicle pickup they don't have any, what's the point of reserving something if it really isn't offered. Overall the vehicle did what I wanted, I was able to move my personal stuff. While these things may seem small they impacted my overall experience, in the future if I need to rent a vehicle this will give me reason to look at other options beside U-Haul.

QING YThe process was super fast and easy. The guy working there was a little grumpy/short with me, but I am that way too so I get it. :) I would use them again, but if someone is sensitive or wants to ask a lot of questions, I might recommend they go elsewhere.
DENNIS HHost was barely polite, felt like I was bugging him. Not a smile, was hard to understand as he was not making effort to speak clearly. Just a terrible experience
RODOLPHE DThe attendant was extremely rude, did not listen to what I said, and the vehicle was not 7/8 full when I got it. It also had trash in it. When I returned the vehicle, the same attendant berated me for leaving my car there, despite me telling him I would be. He also told me that I didn’t return the vehicle full enough. I went to two different gas stations to attempt to fill up the vehicle, but it only took a gallon at each. When I went to the chevron to drop it off, the tank was 3/4 full, which was where it was when I picked it up. The attendant made me fill it up to 100% full. I will never return to this location for gas, car services, or U-Haul.
Margaret BOur requested pick up location was changed to this location. When we picked up the truck, the employee was not helpful. The truck we were given had 1/8 of a tank of gas in it. This has never happened to us before and we were not happy!!! This meant that we had no choice but to put gas in it at that Chevron location and it was a VERY expensive $140 fill up charge! Hard to correctly approximate the amount of fuel we would need for our 95 mile trip so we put in considerably more fuel than we needed. We left the truck with over 5/8 of a tank. In addition, we would have not felt good to leave the truck with 1/8 of a tank as it was for us!!! Absolutely terrible!!!

Yan XI was rented a van with an open container of alcohol left in the passenger door unbeknownst to me.. it’s very disappointing because I as the drive would’ve been responsible if stopped for any reason.

GINTS SThe U-Haul by my house did not rent trailers. Bur they found one at a differernt locaripn and made the reservation there.. I picked it up and returned it the same day. Without any problems.

Antoine BThe front desk reception man was extremely rude, didn’t want to explain the process and then gave me a dirty truck. I went back in and mentioned it and he said they’ll clean it after I bring it back. The steering wheel was sticky, the cab was dirty and muddy. The rear compartment had shards of glass which made me cut myself. Had to take it to brown bear to get rid of the glass before loading in my boxes. Will never recommend this location
DARREN MI appreciate the very short survey, but it was way TOO short. It's obvious you don't really want to know your customers' opinions. I would like to see at least a dozen questions and much more options than YES or NO. The individual behind the counter needs a personality transplant. I've seen cadavers with more warmth and concern than he had. I think I have some clue as to the difficulty U-Haul has in finding good employees when so many people are not interested in working, but this fellow was dead from the neck up. Can't you do any better? He made the experience (and desire to return EVER) feel like a walk to the gallows.

ALEJANDRO ZThe employee hated his job. Traveled 60 miles was charged for 100. I would never recommend this even if it's a last resort, jus carry your things it's cheaper. Had a reservation paid for it at $50 but then charged for $230. Absolutely terrible.
Ramon IThe van was not clean. It was mud on the floor and leaves in the door compartment. When I was checking out, there was an option to mark if not clean but I would have to pay 25$… It was not me who soiled the van. But I like this location and will use it again if needed.

Erik CWhen I checked in my U Haul I was greeted by an angry employee. He accused me of damaging the windshield when the vehicle was delivered to me in this sub par condition. I also throughly vacuumed and mopped the entire vehicle bed before return. I was also informed of a “$20” cleaning fee…. I’m hesitant to keep doing business with you if this is the customer service I’m going to continue to experience.
