Great service with their in town trailer.

Julie MUnfortunately, the equipment that was recommended for me was wrong for my application. I needed a collar car hauler, but there was not one available so they rented me a toy hauler. There was no straps or anything to secure a car to it. Fortunately, the salesman at the U-Haul dealer had a car haulier for me to use. Seeing as how I had driven eight hours to get the trailer I was a little disappointed, but fortunately, it all worked out. The car haulier comes with straps, but the utility trailer did not, and that should be let known to the next customer.
mark kIt worked out this time. I arrived at 5. I caught the guy closing the gate as he was leaving and he let me in. It would be better if they had a designated fenced off part of the yard that you can drive into after hours, easily turn around and park. Leaving the rental unit outside the gate, on an approach on the side of the highway is not ideal. Difficult to navigate safely, and no security cameras. There is no record of me dropping off the trailer. Anyone could steal it from the road side in seconds without even trespassing. Since I'm the responsible party on file, I did not like that set up in theory. The people at this establishment are outstanding. I just don't like there U-Haul set up yet.

Luc PDidn’t realize until I was home losing the trailer that it was defective and falling apart, as in the enclosure was separated from the floor and frame, I’m surprised it didn’t fall apart while towing. The lady at the rental counter was rude, dismissive, and had no desire to help me in any way. I had to walk through deep mud and huge mud holes in the yard to get to the trailer. As car would not have been able to drive through this. This is the 3rd rental from U-Haul in the last 2 weeks and a one way enclosed trailer rental for 2 days costs more than a 26’ truck with a flat deck U-Haul car trailer.
Christopher BWe were given the wrong closing time of this location from our pick up location. Perhaps a post a phone number to call when it is closed? The people at the location the next day were great. And so was Amy from customer service. But frustrating we were given the wrong information.

Simon CUnfortunately will NOT be using this location for anything again due to the extremely unprofessional interaction I encountered today. Huffing puffing shaking their head and making it clear the frustration. although I was told false information on the phone before entering the store and them trying to charge me more than I was told. They finally calmed down and got me sorted. Truck was awesome!! The staff not to much! I won’t mention a name. Thank!
Jack BThe attendant serving me was unfamiliar with the process for renting a vehicle. She could not find my reservation and was unable to find my address. In addition I was advised to return the vehicle with a full gas tank, so I filled the truck just before I dropped it off. I put in 25.8 litres of gas. I drove 72 km which equates to 2.88 km per litre. There is something wrong with this number. It appears that when I picked up this truck, the gas tank had NOT been filed by the previous renters and I paid for them. This rental experience was uncomfortable, And l hope I do not have to go through this again

Roberto AThe u-haul Interac machine was not letting me pay for my rental with a debit card and they said that they were not allowed to take cash for u-haul rentals. This was very inconvenient for myself and should be addressed. Not everyone has access to a credit card.
