there lot is too small for the amount of trailler they have. Had to put my self in a dangerous position on the boulevard to be able to park the trailler where she wanted it.

Parking is tight, getting out can be complicated when not used to driving a truck.

Be open at the open hours, the truck was not maintain, front wheel juste always blocked when breaking. the truck was dirty a lot inside.

Nothing in particular, except maybe a lack of space from time to time that makes it difficult to return and/or park safely and efficiently trucks or trailers outside the standard working hours.

I do not like the "Submit a Review" format. UHAUL should ask me about my experience and make it easy for me to suggest improvements or to complain. If the only communication that I get is a request for a public review, it feels more like a PR tool, not a sincere corporate effort to improve. It also feels like the "Submit a Review" is a means of keeping individual UHAUL locations in check, rather than improve the UHAUL network.

We booked a truck more than a month in advance for June 30, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. When we arrived, we discovered that U-Haul had changed BOTH the pickup location and time WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. The new location was about 30 km away, and the pickup time had been changed from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Our building required a fixed moving schedule, so this completely disrupted our move. After arguing for a solution, they only offered us a smaller truck at another location. We then had to pay extra for a trailer, still could not fit everything, and had to rent another truck the following weekend to finish the move. And unbelievably, THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. We reserved the second truck through the U-Haul app, but when we went to pick it up, the truck size we had reserved was not available. Different days and same problem. We were moving with a one-year-old baby and a dog. What should have been a planned move became exhausting, expensive, and extremely stressful because U-Haul repeatedly failed to honor confirmed reservations. Their reservation system cannot be trusted. A confirmed reservation does not mean the truck or even the truck size you booked will actually be available. I feel disrespected in so many ways, and U-Haul made our move truly traumatic. The worst part was the dismissive attitude of the employees. When we asked the staff at the counter for a solution, they simply kept repeating, “There’s nothing I can do. I can only do what’s in my system.” At no point did anyone take responsibility for U-Haul’s mistake. Even after I showed them the confirmation email with all the details of my original reservation, no one accepted responsibility or offered a proper solution. This company does not respect its customers. Their attitude is dismissive and makes you feel as though your problems simply do not matter. I asked to speak with the manager, but he refused to speak with my family. I was there holding my baby daughter, and the manager still refused to come and talk to us or provide any solution to a problem created by U-Haul itself. This happened at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Montreal West, 8101 Boul. Montreal-Toronto Rte. I strongly recommend avoiding U-Haul.

The worst experience i ever have , i wouldn’t recommend this location to my worst enemy. When i called to make the reservation, I explained the distance that I was gonna do, she told me that it wasn’t gonna cost me more than $80. Than I picked up the truck , which was dirty , used it for maybe 3 hours . Returned the truck , few mns after , I get a bill for 220$. When I called customer service , that’s when they’re telling me that I had to pay for this, for that , etc. So I asked her when I previously called to asked questions why the lady on the phone didn’t inform me about all those charges that I was gonna have to pay for? No answer. Apparently that’s what they do , they advertise à cheap price and then at the checkout, you wil get a bunch of unexpected fees. I will never use U haul again.

I made the reservation at a different location and time, but it was changed without telling me. I just received a text confirming the new location and time. It wasn't convenient for us.

PUT SOME MAINTENANCE ON YOUR TRUCKS! Renting out a box truck with said box having a 8 foot long tear on the sidewall is for one unacceptable and second it is dangerous and most likely illegal to drive in that condition, not to mention the wall could have failed at any minute and my belongings would have fallen out on the highway. Not only that but the exhaust pipe being completely cut from the catalytic converter it was so loud I couldn’t even hear myself think and I probably woke up the entire neighborhoods I drove through. U Haul never ceases to amaze me with every rental experience being worse then the next. Ok the price point is great but other than that they have nothing going for them.

Très déçus de notre expérience. Notre réservation avait été déplacée et confirmée, mais en arrivant sur place, il n’y avait ni camion ni réservation à notre nom. Cela a entraîné 4 heures de retard et beaucoup de stress le jour de notre déménagement. Heureusement, une solution a finalement été trouvée, mais nous nous attendions à un meilleur service.

Oui et non pour le recommander..On a pas vraiment trop compris le principe quand on loue et sans signature et en plus pas d’explication la façon de fonctionner pour le retour ..et la remorque était vraiment propre,…mais le bureau vraiment pas propre.. de justesse, on a réussi à avoir le diable qu’on avait besoin pour un frigo car on nous avait dit ils vont en avoir et une chance qu’un monsieur a loué un petit diable et il a trouvé un gros dans le camion sinon on aurait pas eu

Well, in the van, there were indicators on the dashboard, that the tires are un evenly blown up with air, that the side door is open when it's not and another indicator, which I have no idea what it was that kept appearing only when driving. But besides that, the service was good.

The people where we picked it up wre nice and all, but arrival at pickup spot was a bit chaotic, not very well organized, our driver's license are photographed on a cell phone... Truck did not smell clean, had used tissues and candy melted in center console and a lot of gunk in center console. Truck engine was extra loud and back door was hard to close... turned out to be quite pricey too for a roundtrip of 241 km where we had o put in 160$ worth of gaz... so not sure Id recommend for all these reasons...!!

Premièrement l’application de prise en charge UHaul n’est vraiment pas optimale, cela a prit 35 minutes avant de pouvoir accéder au camion. Une fois que nous avons prit possession du camion, il a fallu aller mettre de l’essence car le réservoir d’essence était vide. Pour ce qui est du retour, nous avons encore eu de la difficulté avec l’application et avons perdu un autre 20 minutes.

Il m'ont déduit 72 dollars de plus et je ne sais pas pourquoi sans explications et quand j'ai appelé au bureau la dame m'a dit que j'ai pas fermé dans l'application que je n'avais pas connaissance et elle m'a remboursé 23 dollars mais je ne suis pas content parce que il me manque 50 dollars qu'elle m'a facturer de plus sans explications

Bonjour, J'ai eu un bel accueil et une bonne écoute. Le service était adapté à mon besoin et j'ai pu transporter aisément le meuble avec le camion 10po. Merci infiniment !

Check the windshield washer liquid before tu quit the location site. We had a battery charge problem because the light in the roof stay always open if we didn’t close the the brightness of the truck's dashboard.We needed to recharge the truck battery.
