U-haul screwed it up. Terrible site for checking in to get a rental (changed recently) . I dealt with it for 3 hrs. The dealer was nasty, no help, did not have anybody to help hook up. I will never use this dealer again.Helmon M.
On my recent Contract 28375622 I was charged an extra day by this site. I returned this trailer ON-TIME, Sunday 9/13/20 at 3:45pm, sent an email, a text message and confirmed with site desk attendant named Heather. See time stamped photo. I have been a U-haul customer for years and never had one problem until now. There is no one on site to issue or receive the property, no one ever answers the phone, and this over charge is not acceptable. I expect a refund for the extra day charge, insurance and applicable tax.John B.

When I reserved the U-haul, I also reserved a dolly. When I went to pick up the U-haul, I asked if the dolly was in the back of the truck and I was told that it was unavailable. Next time, I would like to know during the time of the reservation, what all materials will be available. Not having that dolly made moving 10 times harder.Dana F.

This branch is located at a gas station, where the attendants can not help you. They will simply hand you a phone where a random person will speak to you and charge you for the service. It is a shady business practice. Had they not been my only choice, I would not have rented. This is the worst uhaul service I have ever experienced and I have have rented 7 times. I would strongly encourage a review be conducted of this location. I would not use this location again nor would I recommend them to anyone.David A.

I selected Safe-move for $14. I was charged $28. I was told it was a flat fee for a drop-off rental. I was unaware of the additional charge at the time of rental. I have filed a billing dispute. This was a one-day rental.larry R.
The lady at the store tried to get me to rent the trailer from another location, when I advised those were out of my way, she was very bothered that I had to rent from her... after I paid, she informed me I would have to hook up myself. A 6x12 enclosed trailer that was sitting on the ground! Although there was a man in the store working that probably could have helped me! Terrible customer service! This location was accommodating and helped us out when We couldn't find our actual/ original drop off location. It did not exist, at least not at the address listed and the phone posted was not in service either. Overall, very disappointedJoe T.
I am 78 years old but strong for my age. I could not lift the trailer frame off the ball hitch. I ask the manager to help. He said he was busy and that I paid someone else not him. Location was understaffed. I am 70 years old. The lone attendant pointed me to the back lot to get my trailer. No instruction or assistance. I had to request help. He did finally assist after waiting on his many convenience store customers. Clearly not staffed to handle both pieces of his business.Gary B.

I received a call from Uhaul corporate yesterday whcih was 2.5 weeks after dropping off the trailer asking me when I was going to return the trailer. This happened previously when I dropped off a truck at the same location. Worst customer service experience ever.milton M.

U-Haul gave me a location 1300 N. Columbia St, MIlledgeville, GA to drop the one-way trailer off in MIlledgeville. Its been closed for months and the phone disconnected. Therefore I dropped it at the only one I know in MIlledgeville, which is operated by people who speak poor English. We had a heck of a time until I finally convinced them the trailer did not have a mileage odometer. They were nice ladies though and were very busy selling gas, tobacco and lottery tickets, bless their hearts. I rated them helpful because they were trying hard and couldn't bring myself to dishearten them although they were not very helpful. I completed the drop off using one of their cell phones on FaceTime with a U-Haul rep far away. It took longer to drop it off than to rent it and hook it up. Maybe they could get someone to help out who speaks English well and knows the difference in a truck and a trailer. That would help a lot!William S.

They don't give you a receipt. I was called 1 day after I had returned the truck asking when I was returning it and yesterday I got an additional bill for $115! Luckily I took a picture of the gas gauge and mileage when I turned the truck in. I have called my credit card company to dispute the $115 charge.milt M.

while the attendant at the store was very helpful and polite, the store manager was not helpful. We received a confirmation the night before for all of our equipment, but upon arriving the manager was not there and no one knew about the rental. I had to speak with him over the phone. I learned that they did not have the appliance dolly we had requested and the blankets were from the previous user of the truck. I asked if he would please assist me in finding a dolly at another location and he agreed but never called me. My daughter and I had to lift our washer and dryer alone. I didn't show my driver's license or sign any paper work at this location.Helen F.
This location changes your contract without your knowledge by adding insurance without your permission and states that Uhaul doesn't allow them to rent without insurance. Uhaul should speak to them regarding altering a contract/document without the customer consent that's illegalAlicia H.

Did not receive any paperwork, no one walked out to go over how to hook up trailer and inspect the trailer. I happened to check my account and realized I was charged less than quoted. I went back into the store to ask about the charges and the employer had removed my safe tow without telling me. He stated it was because most insurance companies cover the uhaul. I told him that was not the case in my insurance. I added it back but he had no right to remove the safe tow without my knowledge.Jason B.

The trailer was made of very poor quality and was very substainded equipment should be replaced with standard item . We wre not allowed to travel more than 40 MPH without the trailer swaying like crazy . The money I paid for this equipment should be refunded in full . I have rented several U-Haul trailers in the last 18 months or so and this was by far not a U-Haul quality experience. The pick up location would not let me rent in person, required an advance registration. I went online in my car and reserved one then went back in. I showed them my reservation and then they asked for payment. I specifically told them I put my credit card on the reservation and was told that was just to hold it. I paid then she told me go pick one out. I proceeded to connect everything myself - thankfully I had previously rented and watched the service person connect it so I knew how. Upon returning the rental I was handed a post it note and told to write down the trailer number and return. U-Haul called me 4 days later and asked if I still needed my reservation. I told them I had already used it and returned it that same day. The representative told me it had never been checked out to me. In addition it had not been charged in their system. So U-Haul charged me again for it! Even after having paid at the pick up location. I have contacted them several times and each time told a supervisor would call me back but they still have not. I would strongly recommend not using this location and if you have no choice, rent here with extreme caution. Also, go back and read all the previous reviews. Over 2+ years there are a couple of good ones, but several bad reviews. Appears U-Haul has no intention of improving things at this locale.Keith B.

He didn't have help. He had me and my daughter watch customers didn't take off while scrounged around for a few moving blankets. I ordered a dozen which they didn't have. He did find four at no charge, but we needed more. I ordered a 15 foot truck from another location. They called me the next day and said we have a 20 footer at another location for the same price, but when i got my bill I was charged for a 20 footer.James R.
